Generations of patients have trusted us with their most intimate concerns and problems. We sometimes take care of the grandmother, mother and daughter, who have all been delivered through our practice! We are the longest continuing ob/gyn practice in the Albany area and have a tradition of caring for.
We, the midwives and doctors, will help take care of you and your baby throughout these happy months. The typical schedule of visits is every 4 weeks from 8 weeks until 28 weeks then every 2 weeks from 28-35 weeks then every week from 36 weeks until delivery. For our patients with pre-existing medical conditions or developing high-risk pregnancy conditions, we may like to see you even more often.
Every woman knows that the first gynecologic exam will always color her future experiences. We are sensitive to the anxiety of a first exam and have many different techniques to help your first exam be more comfortable. With the newest pap guidelines, it is very possible your first gynecologic exam may not require a pelvic exam.
These classes are designed to be taken in your seventh or eighth month of pregnancy and are taught by our experienced childbirth educators. The class will provide you with tools and knowledge to enhance your labor experience. Relaxation and breathing techniques are also taught. These classes are designed for those Moms or Moms-to-be who are interested in breasfeeding their baby.

Literally obsessed with all providers here. Two c sections in two years, multiple procedures in office, and id recommended them to anyone. I also love Callie the nurse. She's so nice and caring and a hard worker! Dr Cartwright, Jen Hennessy, Abby rauf, and Mary the surgical nurse all hands down are the best. I wouldn't know what to do without these women. Thank you for safely delivering my two daughters and making me so comfortable every visit.

The doctors and other providers are outstanding, and I feel completely heard and taken care of. The receptionists are iffy and some of them make it obvious they've got more important things to do. If your check in is anything other than effortless for them it gets huffy and uncomfortable. The phone system is the worst I've come across in a long time. I haven't even been able to use the website it's so bad. Phreesia is clunky. Doxy needs to be an app. There are better choices out there.

Best experience from start to finish. Have been recommending Dr. Cartwright to all my friends and family. She takes her time to go over every procedure and makes you feel at ease. Very caring and treats you like its all about you and not rushing to get to the next patient. Dr. Cartwright's Robotic Surgery was the best experience I could have had. Faster recovery time than what would have been the traditional surgery type of procedure I had. Dr. Cartwright is one of the best OBGYN I have ever had!

Dr. Cartwright is an amazing doctor and helped me finally find some answers about a health condition after 10 years of no answers. Had laproscopic surgery by her and her team. She is professional, empathetic and gives you options in your care plan. I felt listened to and validated in my concerns as a patient. Her surgical team is also great. Highly recommend her as a doctor.
