There will be a $40 cancellation/no-show fee if you are unable to make your appointment without giving at least 24 hours prior notice. Due to national lab tube shortages, CCA is requiring our patients to have their labs drawn at designated lab facilities as indicated by your health insurance. Thank you for your understanding. While masks are not required when visiting our offices, we recommend it.

If you're asked to wear a mask by a CCA provider or staff member, please be courteous and comply. If you would like your provider, or any CCA staff member, to wear a mask during your visit, please let us know.

BUYER'S BEWARE! My father moved out of NY and they kept charging his insurance company for "visits". How can they say that he was "seen" at the office when he was living on the west coast! We are still fighting with them to reverse those charges and in the meantime they are threatening to send the unpainld bill to collections. THE NERVE!

I saw Dr. Heinecke at Capital Cardiology and he was diligent in responding to my chest pain with appropriate testing which I appreciated. I did feel like he was rushing and talking over me a bit the two times that I met with him, though. My biggest concerns and the reason for the 2-star review have to do with the Clifton Park office itself. I don't like that the rooms are basically like cubicles so that you can overhear the private business of each patient.

And I was really shocked that at my second visit in March 2022 the office no longer had a mask requirement. None of the staff wore masks and the nurse told me I could take my mask off if I wanted. When I declined, I was the only one wearing a mask. We are still amidst a pandemic and NY still has a requirement for masks in health facilities. I just couldn't believe that an office that sees people with heart conditions who are at greater risk of severe outcomes for covid was so quick to drop masks.

This is simply irresponsible and honestly felt like a political statement by the practice instead of an appropriately thought-out health policy. Every other health facility I have visited since that appointment still has a mask requirement.

I had a wonderful experience today when I saw Dr Stahura. She was extremely kind and I felt like she genuinely cared about me which I feel is rare these days. Overall experience 10 out of 10

My initial experience at CCA was relatively positive. The wait seemed a little long, but as a new, walk-in patient, I was expecting a bit of that. I don't have any previous experience with cardiologists, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I thought I was treated well. And I don't have an answer to my concerns yet, but I'm not a doctor myself so I don't know if I can fault them for that. Then, another doctor referred me to come to the CCA to have a test done.

That doctor called ahead, and said CCA could see me right away, I just had to drive over as soon as I was checked out. Great service, right? I did, and ended up in the CCA office for _Three Hours_ waiting to have simple test done that ended up taking only like five minutes. If you're busy, just schedule me to come in later! Not only that, while I was waiting, a nurse came along and insisted on giving me an EKG and a blood test, which I neither asked for, nor wanted, but she wouldn't take 'No' for an answer.

I get 'better safe than sorry', up to a point, but the whole experience left me feeling a bit sour about the way I was treated. I'm still a new patient, and I don't know which experience is better reflective of the 'true' quality of care, so I'm just giving it a mixed rating for now.

My problem is with the staff. I have never been able to speak to a human, always have to leave a message. If I'm lucky I will receive a call. back, days later, but usually not. I have a terrible time having my meds refilled. My pharmacist calls for a refill, no response from the cardiology office. I'm asked by my pharmacist to give the office a call for the refill.

The tape recording at the office tells me, the pharmacist has to call for the refill. Here we go again, No refill. The first time I waited for 3 weeks to get my meds refilled. This time I'm in to my second week of waiting. I have to borrow my heart medication from my neighbor who takes the same medication, otherwise I have no meds. Today after the 3rd trip to the pharmacy, still no meds.

I called the office again today, actually spoke to a person. I told him what the problem was, he said: "stay on the line I will connect you to the person who does prescriptions" You guest it, another tape recording, left a message, waiting again. I definitely would go to another cardiology office, but I do like Doctor Prieto and feel comfortable with him.

He is always friendly, listen to what I have to say, addresses my concerns. I do think that he is always in a hurry, 5 min. is all I get before he rushes off to see another patient.

Beyond disappointed and upset with there urgent care clinic and horrible system for communication in a resectful way from there nurse practinaner sara. Along with how they cant seem to make appointments the way they claim they said there were going to.if you don't care for you're position anyore and you're bedside manner clearly shows that you want to liston and have zero concern on youre face besides the look of i dont want to be here then maybe they should get another one in that is not so terrible, rude and other words I would rather not say.also be prepared to wait 5 hours just to get results of just you're blood work. The one star is for doctor that was on shift that was the only kind and friendly person from that day besides the receptionist

Wife likes the place and have been seen on a moments notice 2 times, however refer to our last bill acct #471423 where I paid her co pay. I think the company should have refunded us the co pay because on her appointment Dr. Sullenberg never came back in the room to tell her the appointment is finished and she is set to go and never gave her her blood tests results.

My wife had to go to the desk and ask for her copy of the blood results. This is like paying for a full tank of gas and only getting 1/2 or 3/4 a tank. We will continue to use this place, but would like to see another doctor.
