We're entering a new era in medical thinking. These multiple factors include our environment, whatwe are exposed to on the outside, and our mind, what we're exposed to on the inside. The environment encompasses everything from the quality of food that we eat tothe toxins we're exposed to chemical and emotional.

A typical patient is one who was previously healthy and active, and now, has fatigue and other symptoms that are not resolving. Anyone who has done yarn work knows how challenging it can sometimes be to find the starting point in a skein of yarn. You think you have pulled on an outside end only to find out that it is pulling from the inside and creating a great, tangled, ball of mess.
Join me as I examine the link between the Orcas of the Pacific Northwest and our current known risk factors for autism. We'll follow the clues through a biochemical trail to the Zero Point, where worlds collide and autism is born. Then we will take these clues and see how we can use them in a recovery framework for our children and for ourselves.

When I went to see Dr. Hendrix, I honestly had no clue what to expect. I've had epilepsy since 10 months old and am now 31. I've seen over 30+ drs for different things &I always got the same response from all of them "well you're on 7 meds, I don't know why your seizures aren't under control, let's add another " at that point I had enough I wasn't going to be on another seizure med that made me sleep all day and act like a zombi.
I wanted my life back. My dad mentioned how he worked with her husband and she was a really nice person so go see her first. We went in, it was so serene in there I felt at peace. We went back and she had my medical files from my neurologist and endocrinologist (heart dr) she went through my medication list and her eyes went wide. She said you do know some of these cancel the other out.
I sighed and said yes but when they try to take me off it my seizures flare back up. She said well if there not working and there taking you off them I wonder if it's psychosomatic. I looked at her confused. She said how long have you been on this med they are trying to take you off I said well I'm 30 and started it when I was 11.she goes yep that's all the answer I needed to know.
She keeps looking over my chart and says I have an herb in pill form that will be great for your mind, body, and help with your heart. take it instead of the other one and see what happens. If is is psychosomatic or if it really is you coming off it. But I have a hunch I'm right about this. I started taking the pill instead of the one I was coming off of so my med container wouldn't look so empty. and 2 weeks later I hadn't had a single seizure. but my head felt clearer where it usually feels foggy, my body didn't feel as tired as it always did and my heart rate was getting under control. So I don't know if it was all in my head or if what she gave me really worked

Expensive as Dr Hendricks does not take insurance. But if you schedule an hour you get an hour. Never talks down to you. Best listener I have encountered in the medical profession in Arkansas. Recommended for women's issues and autism. But she gets lots of patients who fall through the ridiculous amounts of cracks in a profit oriented medical system.
Strong knowledge of ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia. She formerly ordered blood work through Conway Regional but no longer does so. This apparently limits her to kit testing. Otherwise I would give five stars. A true functional/integrative medicine doctor. Helpful if you have a pcp willing to work with her. She researches your issues. Something I cannot say of the cattle herding allopathic system. Offers anything that she thinks might help you. Tends to prescribe few medications.
