I really hate to leave reviews that are not super positive but my experience this week was so unlike my previous experiences. Usually I see super kind staff & feel heard & cared for but I feel like this clinic let me down this time. I started to feel sick about 5 days ago, went to primecare & paid my $92 up front. I was experiencing symptoms very similar to upper respiratory / sinus infection.
After asking some questions they did no testing & then told it "it's probably bad allergies, you can take Claritin, etc." I was clearly not well at all & disappointed to be given no real medical direction as I'm 5 months pregnant & have a baby at home with pneumonia, which I told them, & expressed concern that I was getting the same thing as her. Well I called a few times after the following day and then the next to let them know my symptoms were getting worse & it felt unlike allergies to me & with work travel coming & being pregnant I was worried.
They sounded offended that I was questioning the doctors allergy diagnosis & rather than really being sympathetic or offering to let me speak with her or to do a follow up they kinda disregarded my concerns & said "if the doctor diagnosed allergies then it's allergies. You can take Claritin or an inhaler." They said if I wanted to I could come back to pay that fee again, but I felt like that would be a waste of time and money. so Today I had NO VOICE from coughing up my lungs all week, projecting thick dark phlegm the past 3 days, intense back pain, incredibly sore throat, fatigue, congestion, & rattled wheezing breathing.
I went to the Sherwood clinic & within an hour I was seen by a nurse who was also pregnant & made me feel listened to and reassured. She acknowledged my concerns, took diligence to actually run some tests to rule things out, & truly listened to hear my symptoms before confirming that I did in fact have bronchitis/likely pneumonia as I suspected (having had this several times in the past & being very aware of the symptoms).
What a world of difference from that clinic. I am grateful that the Sherwood team cared and listened and got my pregnancy safe medications that I needed as well as made me feel listened to, and am disappointed that the clinic I've gone to for 4 years & trusted did not do more to show care and concern to a sick patient. I hope this incident is isolated but I wanted to express my concerns because I called back three times to give them a chance to help me get sorted out & each time felt similar. Thanks for your kind care in the past but this experience fell short.

I had an infected tooth that was starting to make my face swell. I went to Prime Care and they said that they couldn't see me because that is a "dental insurance thing." I have a dentist appointment scheduled in a couple of days, I just needed an antibiotic to keep the swelling down until I could get into the dentist. This is the first time I have ever heard of a doctor not being able to treat an infection. I went across the street to Med Express where they were happy to provide treatment. Turns out, I also had an ear infection! Prime Care is a joke!

Have to give PrimeCARE 5 stars! My parents had the most amazing experience recently during their walk-in visit. The tech assistant that worked them up, Zayne, was hands down the most humbled, smart, and caring person we have ever encountered during a visit. He went above and beyond to ensure my parents were comfortable. He did his job exceptionally and made it a point to hold a genuine conversation with us - not just the generic convo you usually encounter.
Have to also mention the Dr that cared for them, Molly. She was very thorough and did a great job. Good luck to Zayne - hope to see him grow with the PrimeCARE family. Great job Molly, keep doing what you're doing. :

First time ever using an urgent care and my experience was amazing. We checked in online, notified when we arrived and we were called by a staff member in less than 5 minutes. The doctor and nurses were so kind, thorough and took excellent care of my son & I. We were in & out less in 30 minutes. Beyond grateful & blessed for this PrimeCare and the excellent care we received.

Medical care without the hassle! Awesome place for "routine" medical stuff. I know they do more than that, but I don't have any experience with them beyond that. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. It's quick and easy to get in and out. I'm not knocking my excellent PCP, but PrimeCARE is my go-to for our family for ordinary mishaps.

Seriously so impressed by the efficiency of this place. They were super kind to me on the phone all 3 times that we spoke. Healthcare has taken a huge beating over the last two years, but the staff here was CARING and helpful. We were able to wait in our cars until being seen and fill out paperwork verbally so we didn't have to touch a lot of things. Thank you for being so kind and taking care of us!

Always have great service here, they are quick to get me in & out & always have answers or willing to forward me to a specialist. One time they refunded my copay at the visit bc they were not who I needed to see & recommended a specialist that I asked about. That was awesome service & they didn't have to refund that copay, but I appreciated it a lot! I miss the Salem location not being open, but thankful the Oak St. Location is open!
