I started seeing Dr. Austin just over two years ago. As soon as you walk into his office, you are greeted with friendly, smiling faces. All the staff are so understanding. Right from the very beginning I found him to be a very caring and compassionate person. He worked with my surgeon to coordinate my double mastectomy so that he could put my spacers in at the same time, making it one surgery and not two.
Each Surgery that he has performed for reconstruction, I couldn't have asked for better results. During each of my surgeries, he made sure my family was aware of all that was going on to keep them at ease and updated. If I had any type of issue outside of clinic hours, it was never the on-call doctor returning my calls. Dr. Austin was always the one calling me back to resolve my issue or answer any questions that I may have had.
I never felt rushed in any of my appointments before or after surgery. He always made sure I had a full understanding of the procedures before I left his office. I have referred 2 of my friends to him that have also been diagnosed with breast cancer. They too are thrilled with their results and the care that they received. I have nothing but the best to say about him and his staff. Paris Mella-Wagner

I went in to discuss having my implants taken out due to implants hard and severe contraction causing me pain. No interaction as far as explaining why this was happening and was told i would have more pain having them removed. Due to past history with this doctor he is not empathetic with pain after surgery. He said i would have to have breast lift at a second surgery and would look flat and saggy after the first surgery.
He was willing to set up surgery in 6 weeks. I asked for a second onion with Yonders and he had to o.k. this which i found strange! Yonders seemed unsure of why i was having pain and swelling in breast and told me to wait 2 months and see if they would heal. I was rescheduled to see Yonkers in 2 months. I ended up having more constriction and pain during the wait time and was getting worse.
I had talked to Christine the head of the clinic after being rescheduled for 2 months and asked her if Yonkers did not want to do the surgery and was told on no that is not it! I received a call from Christine one month later saying Yonkers would not do my surgery because i had too many surgeries. What this is not true and just a shock, she had reviewed my records prior to seeing me. Dr Austin was going to do the surgery so to sum up" just a shit show" that they put me through. Austin wont do surgery also! I now cant even wear a bra and have to pay out of pocket for this surgery because these are the only kaiser Permanente surgeons in Salem.

I saw Jessie in February, 20. I went to get Botox that was offered in Groupon. But ended with under eye filler that made my under eye swollen and and also she changed my beautiful Asian chicks to something that looks like hers. Now I ha e heavy chicks and squire over filled face. A year passed and I am still struggling with squire face that looks like her face.
I told her that since I was 27 I have been in secure with my eyes. In the past my injector MD and also dermatologist who was also injector told me that under eye filler is not approved by fda and I was not a good candidate for it. I told her now that I am 40, I could see plastic surgeon to correct it. Next thing I know she is telling how many eyes she fixed and that she worked for many years with plastic surgeons.
She told me she was so skilled on injecting it and never ever had unsuccessful injection and only onetime had to dissolve it. She also made me feel that if I was unhappy it could be dissolved. My under eyes looked good for the first two weeks and next thing I know I have hallowed eyes but under I have swollen skin that I keep keep some wine glasses on top and also somehow she managed to change my chicks and gave me a squire face that is heavy and hangs.
When her office opened, I went back for her asked to dissolves but she declined it saying I will ended up with lumps. Instead gave me 20 u free Botox for bad job. That Botox dropped my eyebrows. She says she is loving to Salem.

The moment I first met Dr Austin in 2013 I was treated with respect and dignity. He has been there for me on my breast cancer journey. His staff is caring, efficient and supportive. His surgical care is beyond wonderful. I can unequivocally recommend Dr Austin for any surgical needs. I trust him completely.

Dr. Austin's surgical skills are outstanding. The results are even better than I anticipated. I appreciate his professional manner, gentleness, and the attention to detail. He and his staff are friendly, professional and competent. I would not hesitate to have further surgery, if needed. I highly recommend Dr. Austin as a surgeon.

My experience with Dr. Austin and his entire staff is beyond the 5 star rating. From the moment I started the process I felt peaceful and well-cared for. My procedure for a breast reduction couldn't have gone more smoothly. From the start with the insurance, FMLA paperwork for my employer, to the consultation, and then the surgery itself. By far the best experience in any health care forum I have ever encountered.
My surgery went FABULOUSLY. All post-op appointments went well and the end result was outstanding. My primary physician even commented on the quality of Dr. Austin's work. I am one year out and everything from beginning to end was outstanding with Dr. Austin and his entire team. Thank you so much for your quality care.

First, let me say I really liked this place. The staff was super friendly (they made me coffee!) and Jessie got to me really quickly. I got to sit in a massage chair and read magazines while my face cream numbed up my skin. Everyone was just nice! They do have other businesses that work out of the same building, so it's not just them inside the clinic.
There was a chiropractor and some other people. Also the paper work was pretty extensive, and Jessie went over everything with me before we got started. Although in a way that was kind of great because she answered a ton of my questions, without making me feel stressed or like I needed to buy a million treatments right then. I guess the biggest thing is the results, and yes! I did. I really did. I had work done before and Jessie actually lifted my brow with Botox when another doctor told me that was impossible.

I have been a patient of Dr Austin for a well over 2 years. The office staff are professional, kind, courteous, and helpful. Dr. Austin is patient, answering my questions and explaining procedures so that I can easily understand. He is gentle, courteous, and shows a genuine concern for my issues. I would absolutely go to him for any surgeries connected with breast reconstruction after mastectomy.

Phenomenal. Had an amazing experience with Kyria who works at the front desk and Jessie, the NP who did my Botox. Having worked in a medical dermatologist office for 3 years I'm familiar with cosmetic procedures including Botox. I had previously gotten Botox at my old work YEARS ago for migraines and wrinkle preventative and I loved it. I always thought the doctor I worked with was conservative, and since the Botox I got from my boss was free it made more sense that she went conservative.
But I was very wrong. If you want results but also something conservative Jessie is you're person. I told Jessie how many units I typically got and she did 6 units less. It doesn't seem like a big deal but it is. Instead of doing my forehead which my doctor usually did Jessie opted to only do my lateral eyebrows and my glabella (the frowning wrinkles).
I saw results within the next day, and 80-90% results by the second day. My migraine was skipped this month (monthly hormonal related migraine) and my brows are lifted giving me a more awake look. I'm so pleased it's unbelievable. Not only that Jessie gave me advice as to not get Botox until after my second baby is done breast feeding. I'm not pregnant but plan to get pregnant.
She sat with me to calculate if the timing was good. I'm so grateful Jessie is so thorough. Lastly, Jessie gave me some advice as to where I could look for employment in Oregon as I had just moved from California. This is top notch customer service. I felt like a VIP, and I'm sure anyone who comes in will too.

Jessie is a board certified nurse practitioner with many years of experience. Her expertise and training are apparent by the quality of her work. Prior to seeing Jessie I was nervous to try the anti-aging procedures available today. She came highly recommended to me by various nurses that I've worked with. RNs are well informed and pretty savvy when it comes to medical procedures so I felt safe to give her a try. Boy, I wasn't disappointed, and in fact Jessie has exceeded all of my expectations!
She combines the art and science of an advanced practice nurse to ensure gorgeous results in safe and professional environment. She is always willing to give her professional option when asked, always interested in her patients and their goals and desires, and never pushy. Her staff is simply wonderful too. I wish that I could give RJ Edwards six stars because I truly believe she deserves it.

I would never recommend Dr Austin to a Breast Cancer Patient. I hope No cancer survive should have this experience. His 'assistant' Mary was unprofessional, rude, and no help, at best. There was no empathy, respect, or concern for my health or well being, at a vulnerable, traumatic time. No consideration to pre existing conditions. He assured me he could do an implant on a radiated masectomy breast with Lymphedema, I believed him as a professional.
It was not possible, an ugly failure/experience. After the Surgery, he would not Answer my questions, and got angry. Poor communication and listening. The internal infected incision burst, I went to ER, had him remove implant. I asked for a no reconstruction closure, yet I was left with skin flaps, plus painful skin adhesions. No explaination or offer of solutions. I had repaired by another PS. Beware.

I just had my first experience (ever) with a bikini wax with Sue the Aesthetician today. I must say I was a bit timid and kinda afraid to get it done but I'm so glad I did, it was amazing! Sue made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout the whole process and explained what she was doing, products used, etc. And it didn't hurt like I thought it would. Bonus!
If you're ever in need of a loving personality cause you're just not sure then I would highly recommend Sue. She will make you feel so at ease during the whole thing. And before you know it, you're done!

I had a great experience! Jessie has started a new business in Lake Oswego so even though she has been practicing the treatments for over a decade she is still new on the scene in Lake Oswego. I had a great time with Jessie, she helped me with some facial scaring using her laser. I was a little anxious heading in and a little intimidated by the idea of a laser on my face.
However I did some research online before and Jessie and her receptionist really helped me to feel calm with the whole process. I am really happy with the results so far and I'm excited to go back! It's really amazing watching your face change especially when you've wanted the change for a while.
