I feel so blessed to have been referred to Valley Mental Health. My councilor, Carmen, is amazing. I feel like I truly have a supportive partner to help me move through this tough time in my life. I recently met with a phycologist at this clinic, Dr Ayoko, who was patient with me and worked with me even though we had a few technical issues and I was melting down lol. I feel cared for! They will randomly give you a therapist and you have to hope for the best because they do not fire people who are incompetent. Between the two therapists that I've seen I would rate one a 0 and the other a 5. You can get lucky and have a great therapist or possibly see someone who will make you much worse.

This is solely for my therapist & psychiatrist - not for the office itself as I have been doing tele-appointments due to COVID. I was incredibly lucky to get Natasha B. as my therapist, she has been so beyond wonderful and easy to talk to. With her techniques, I was able to really reflect and change myself for the better as well as curb the majority of my anxiety.

I came to her about ADHD, anxiety and depression and we mostly used CBT therapy. I highly recommend her. I also saw Ayako for my medicine and she also was so incredibly kind and patient. Both made me feel very comfortable and listened to me. For anyone reading, please remember therapists can't read your mind, you have to be open and honest with them in order for them to be able to help you, you also have to want help. I was not asked to do this review, I'm just very thankful for the help i've received from these two wonderful women! :

Absolutely terrible service at this clinic. I had two different therapists act unprofessional in their dealings with me. They didn't make appropriate notes, they didn't transfer me appropriately, and the second of the two therapists dropped me in the middle of the session. Do not recommend.

8:20am 2-13-20 and phone still ringing to after hours voice mail.

I was misquoted repeatedly by both of the therapists I saw at Valley MH. They wrote down incorrect information and their treatment of me as a result repeatedly retraumatized me. I spent the majority of my sessions feeling belittled, ignored, and invalidated because they had incorrect assumptions about my history, which was never even fully taken by either therapist.

It usually takes four to five sessions to tell my history, which has much more than the four or five traumatic events listed in the therapists' notes. Every single session was misreported to some degree by each of the therapists in their notes. Several things they said in session that were troublesome were omitted in their notes. I would never recommend this business to anyone.

Practical help - Kelly Haider was awesome. Understood my problems and helped others to do so.

Two stars, because I came here with hopes that I would get help. Really all I got were venting sessions where I could just word vomit. But to be honest I wish they had gone more into depth with my struggles, and my "real" problems that had me reach out for services. It was a big thing for me to do that, and now I just feel as I almost wasted my time. Not my counselors fault though, she was always very kind. But I did get the vibe that she was tired of my venting.

This is where I see my caseworker. She is so super amazing! She has helped me through the most difficult time in my entire life. I truly don't know what I would have done without her help. She has gotten me into programs that I never knew existed. Without her help I would be homeless. I cannot thank her enough.
