I had no issue with the care I was given, but the wait times are just absolutely ridiculous. My doctor was great here (Dr. Stephenson), but the wait times are just awful. For each appointment I've had, my wait time has consistently been for over an hour. It just doesn't make sense why I'm given an appointment time if I'm not even going to be seen for another hour and a half. If wait times were improved, I would recommend. I have never had to wait this long to receive care.

During my initial appointment for carpal tunnel, I saw Dr. Scioli's PA. I was not impressed as she tried to make it seem as if my primary physician could not make the assumption after a physical test that I had carpal tunnel. In fact, when his PA asked how my hands felt, she said I could not have tingling or numbness in my ring fingers. This was also not the first time I had seen both Dr. Scioli or his PA as I had a year prior for plantar fasciitis, but never had a problem with his PA.

Soon after the nerve study with a neurologist who confirmed I had carpal tunnel and that my hands were in BAD shape (and that tingling and numbness in my ring fingers was possible), I was to hear back from Dr. Scioli's office, but instead it was I who called them. Again they said they would call me with an appointment, but never did. I ended up making a trip to Lubbock, which is 100 miles from where I live, to pick up my nerve study as I did not want to waste anymore time, and take it to a completely different orthopedic who was 80 miles in the opposite direction from where I live.

At least my new orthopedic office wait times are all within 30 minutes whereas my wait times with Dr. Scioli could be as little as an hour and a half to as much as four hours.

Terrible, terrible absolutely unheard of wait times. Their wait time is no less than an hour and a half every time. They need to stop over booking I guess cause they have zero respect for your time and offer no apologies. Will not be back.

Im 52 y/o, add I have been screwed by a many of businesses. This ranks right there at the top. I have been on crutches for a month, and finally found a Orthopedic Doctor that could see me sooner than a month or two. I finally found Dr. Joseph Nathan Wilson that could see me in four days. Just a side note I have been to The Center For Orthopedic Surgery and was seen by Dr. Jeff Headrick two months prior to this appointment.

I acquired a copy of my MRI and the MRI report the day before my appointment. So I had an appointment at 9:15 Friday. When I arrived they said I had to fill out like 15 pages of their paperwork. I returned the paperwork to the girl at the desk. Then she asked for my $45.00 copay. So I pulled out my checkbook, and she abruptly stop me and said they don't take checks ANYMORE.

I told the girl at the desk that was not the case two months ago. She replied we just changed it two weeks ago. My rebuttal was I was not informed by any of the staff I had talked to that they don't take checks anymore. The desk girl said she could ask her boss if they could make an exception since 8 was ill informed. Then her boss said she would talk to her boss (I assume that this was the "Big Wig").

Well the " Big Wig" said a flat out NO. "BIG WIG" DIDN'T CARE IF The Center For Orthopedic SURGERY made a mistake on their part. IT WAS MY MISTAKE BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW. This last month has been hard on me physically and mentally. I am a single Dad with M.S. on crutches and can't work because knee injury. It just shows you how The Center For Orthopedic Surgery only cares about the MONEY and not the person. If you read this PLEASE share my experience. Thank You.
