Dr. Stiebel graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor Campus, and the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his preseptorship in conjunction with the Dearborn Medical Center Hospital. He is a member of both the Michigan and American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is affiliated with St. John Macomb Surgery Center. Dr. Stiebel has lectured on podiatric conditions in the United States and overseas.

If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time. Our office accepts a variety of HMOs, PPOs, and other health plans. Please call our office to verify acceptance of your insurance carrier.
During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.
Romeo Foot & Ankle Clinic is available to treat foot and ankle ailments such as diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts and painful calluses. I went to the macomb foot doctor and Dr Stiebel was my Dr there, this Dr was absolutely outstanding with his diagnosis of my problem and fixed my ingrown toenails on both big toes, right there and then, I haven't been to a Dr who immediately knew what my problem was and just fixed it right there, this Dr is really good and I just can not thank him enough or show appreciation for how much better my feet feel after what he did, I would recommend this Dr to everyone who has foot problems, absolutely the best! There is hope for your toes if you have ingrown toenails and it's Dr Stiebel.thank you Dr Stiebel!

I went in for 3 fibromas on the bottom of my right foot. They were painful and causing a great deal of nerve pain. I was told by a previous foot dr that surgery was my only option. Luckily I changed doctors and found Dr Stiebel! 2 cortizone shots shrunk the fibromas and he saved me from undergoing a terrible surgery! This doctor is awsome! I am very grateful!

Dr. Stiebel is compassionate, friendly and above all a great doc. I have treated with him for gout. He quickly alleviated unbearable pain and prescribed meds to help end my flare ups. He is also treats sports injuries and has treated both of my sons. Front office staff is friendly and understands insurance inside and out. Highly recommended.

First of all, let's start with the receptionists that greet you. Smiling faces and very friendly, for me thats how the rest of my visit will be. I wasn't disappointed. I was seen by Dr. Stiebel. He and his assistants were a mirror image of the girls up front. After a few X-rays I knew what the issue was. Dr Stieble explained throughly his plan to relieve the pain in my heel. I walked in pain and left with a spring in my step. My one week recheck was perfect. Don't know why I waited so long to address this problem.

After three members of my family, including myself, were treated for various foot issues by Dr. Stiebel I can attest to his expertise and knowledge in this field. The surgeries went as planed and true to his word my husband was out of a cast up and walking within 2 months. There was low to minimum pain afterward and we all healed within a reasonable amount of time.
Foot surgery is not always easy but he listened to our concerns and the staff and good doctor made it as efficient and convenient as possible. I can thoroughly say he is highly recommend by all!

When I fractured my foot, I really did not know what to expect. Dr. Stiebel and his staff were very kind and patient with the process. They really calmed my nerves. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smiling face. Dr. Stiebel was very thorough with the examination and explanation of everything. This was my third attempt to find a podiatrist that could help me with my sore aching feet and I hit the jackpot here. Dr. Stiebel was very good at listening to me, determining the problem and setting a course of action toward fixing it. I've been very impressed AND the office is lively and fun. I recently made an appointment with Dr. Alan Stiebel because of foot pain related to an inherited foot deformity. The doctor examined my foot, reviewed the x-rays, asked me many questions, and looked at the many pairs of shoes he suggested I bring. He recommended a custom-made orthotic to support the foot, decrease pressure on the painful part, and aim to slow progression of the underlying cause.
Because I was interested in continuing to attend some dance classes, he provided handcrafted temporary pads to place in my dance slippers. The pads make the slippers and dance activity much more comfortable. I am very pleased with the service provided by the doctor and with my interaction with him. He identified the problem, answered my multiple questions, and provided me with an appropriate treatment that appears effective.
He also shared with me a long-term outlook on the foot. Dr. Stiebel is knowledgeable, personable and engaging, easy to work with, and I highly recommend his professional service for your feet. He is truly interested in helping his patients. I have renewed hope for my feet, and I am certain you will also.
