Lisa A. Manz-Dulac, M.D. founded Eastside Dermatology in 1996. She is a Board Certified Dermatologist who specializes in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Acne Peels- An acne peel is the application of glycolic acid gel to the face for a short period of time. The desired results of an acne peel are the improvement of the texture and appearance of the complexion. Botox- A very small amount of the purified protein is injected into the skin to minimize the appearance of dynamic wrinkles.

Don't be discouraged by a few low reviews. The office has moved and improved in how fast you get seen upon arrival. I first to see Dr Filapov for a skin exam 10 yrs ago. She is amazing! I have literally hundreds of moles but on the very first visit she picked out one of concern and she was spot on. It was skin cancer. She is kind, friendly, compassionate, etc etc.
I also think she is a life saver as she has found a few other skin cancers since that initial visit. Her and the staff are so organized in my care. Can't say enough good things about her! Highly highly recommend this office. She has a patient for life in me!

Stay away! I waited in the waiting room for exactly one HOUR with at least THREE other patients who had the EXACT same appointment time with the EXACT same doctor as I had! I can only assume Dr. Dulac wants to see as many patients as she can in as few days per week as possible.meeting some kind of criteria ($)? Not acceptable. THEN Dr. Dulac wanted to do a biopsy on a mole that she wasn't concerned with which would entail stitches and 2 return visits.
Why not do what every other dr. does and do a "scratch" biopsy? Less invasive, no return visit if nothing. Nope, found a new Dermatologist I really like who is not in it for the money.

Worst experience in a doctors office ever! This was an initial appointment which I was asked to sign a form stating I understood there was a higher charge for an initial visit. FOR WHAT I would like to know? The intake Medical Assistant asked the same questions I had already answered on the forms filled out 10 minutes earlier. Doctor (and I use the term loosely) Philipov arrived and spent approximately 7 minutes with me where she attempted to inject my scalp, which I have had done several hundred times in the past and never felt a thing.
I am going to say she literally STABBED me in the head 7 or 8 times leaving blood spots on my scalp and got indignant when I said "Ouch! You are not good at that!" She promptly left the room stating she'd be right back and never returned. The MA hurried and rushed me out to the discharge desk and voila I was back in the waiting room. I did not have the chance to address the issues that I went there to address.and for this they charged me $240. Absolutely unacceptable! and from the looks of their other reviews, which I wish I would have read first. I would have to say Do Not Go To this Office!
