I love love love Dr Biard. She is amazing. Her staff and her are so very friendly. She actually listens to what you need her to hear and she is super fast with getting things posted like test results and getting prescriptions sent to be filled. I could go on and on about Dr Biard and her staff. Amazing is the best I can think of at the moment. They go above and beyond.

I have been coming to this clinic for 2 years now and unfortunately, I will not be returning. Dr. Ward is impersonal and during my latest visit i felt like I was rushed away. I do not feel as if she is genuinely concerned about my healthcare and that I am just another number. Her nurse Amanda is highly rude and failed to call in my prescription as she advised.
When i called back 2 days later to ask why my prescription was not called in she loudly sighed in my ear and stated "Well its done now".! Highly Unprofessional & and flat out Disrespectful! Is this the type of service you provide to your patients? Your quality of service is disgusting- I will never return to this facility!

I have been with this provider for 2 years and I have no complaint about the doctor, nurses and medical crew I have been seeing. They are good. Now I am having problems with the what they call insurance coding team where cannot be contacted wahtsoever. They decide what kind of procedure codes to send to my insurance. I did a preventive care in March and still had over $200 bill for that visit.
Then I looked at the EOB from the insurance there was an office visits which they didn't pay to the provider and went to my deductible. I contacted them telling them it was my annual check and not office visit. It has been almost two months and with multiple calling and checking with them and still not fixed. The billing department just said they could not control what the coding team is doing.
Why do I have to pay for the preventive service that the insurance covered 100%? Each time there was different answers. Be careful with this place. They just charge you whatever and you have to pay for the mistake they made. If you don't pay, this record will go into your credit report and haunting over 7 years with the bad record!

Dr Torres and his team are very helpful and efficient. I never have to wait too long to be seen and they respond quickly to any requests. The Healthcare Associates accounting department is another thing. It takes repeated calls to get through and you almost never get a clear explanation of their billing practices. I received a bill for services that were supposed to be covered by my insurance for almost a year before it got cleared up.

I've been going to Dr. Deems for over 25 years and am always satisfied after my visits. He takes the time to discuss whatever health concerns I have and either offers advice or medication to deal with it. His staff is always pleasant and polite. The wait time is minimal and I'm usually called back before or on the appointment time.

First visit with Cindi Peters was wonderful. Everyone from the front desk to Johnnie to Cindi was friendly, thorough and professional. They made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions without making me feel like they were just trying to get to the next patient. They completed the most extensive lab work from a single blood draw that I've had with any provider.
I've always had to push for or ask repeatedly to have the labs ran that she did right out the gate. Looking forward to follow up and if they are as good as the initial visit I will be switching my entire family to this office.

We love Dr Feehery. He is patient, extremely knowledgeable and takes time to listen. He asks questions that really dig to help find out what's going on. (He doesn't just treat symptoms.) He's the first primary care doctor we've had as adults that feels like the old school personal doctor we all had years ago. Healthcare Associates is organized and runs pretty smoothly for such a large practice. Using the patient portal app they have is helpful. It saves a lot of time not having to hold on the phone.

Michael Sullivan really pays attention to what each patient is saying. He is thoughtful, knowledgeable and one of the nicest providers I've ever met. He is also knowledgeable about using some herbal/vitamin compounds for certain problems. Great follow up and he is encouraging about living a healthy lifestyle.

Healthcare Associates of Irving, has been wonderful for me. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and I am always seen in a timely manner. My PCP Cesar Torres, is magnificent he takes very good care of my vast medical needs. He is understanding and has a really pleasant personality. They are professional and promptly attend to my requests for prescriptions and referrals when needed.

Good doctor, but still never received my prescription that I have been waiting for a year on. Pharmacist at CVS says doctor should no how to get the prior authorization done. Caremark insurance says that the pa was submitted missing the required information. Tired of giving medical assistant phone calls and phone numbers to call. Looks like I am forced to find another Doctor.

I feel they overcharge here and tested me for things that were irrelevant to my pain. I left with the practitioner giving me a print out of stretches I can do for my back pain that she "literally just googled" online. Can't say that was worth $450 in billing. I also had to ask what the cause of the pain was and she said you might have scoliosis or muscle spasms but didn't confirm it until I had to ask.
I feel for the price you're charging, you should be thorough with the diagnosis even if there's not a serious cause-- not just make assumptions after the treatments have been completed and charged for. Probably a great place for serious treatments but not non-urgent matters.

I was a patient and recently got sick, took an at home Covid test and was positive, asked if I could get a prescription filled and was told I needed an actual test from a testing location, 3 days later I was able to get that done and called back and then was told I need a telemede appointment to have any medicine called in but that they did not have any available for another week!
Mind you at that point I would have had Covid for 9 days! All they care about is an appointment to charge insurance for! They do not care about their patients and I will not be going back there! If I could rate zero stars I would!

Save yourselves from Mental harrasment and wrong billings. Although all insurance companies update Covid Tests and Covid Visits are fully covered this hospital charges for Covid Tests. If you go for covid test you need to pay for Hospital Visit charges also. You need to pay a Hospital visit charges if Hospital informs you about your covid results over phone.
Don't think that you paid all the bills in 1 or 2 months. You will get surprise bills after a year of your visit with wrong charges, threatening to send the bill for collections if you don't pay. They are abusing their power of sending uncollected bills to collections to their advantage. When we call our insurance and get them into conference, they say there is a mistake in billing code and get it corrected.
But it will never get corrected and you get the same bill again and again. They don't have any grievance department to resolve the issue, nor any supervisor calls you back and always forward your call to the same billing department who is billing wrongly and keep you in the loop which never resolves the issue. Ultimately in the fear of collections and credit history you will end up paying the bills, though you know it is absolutely wrong and cheating.

Worst Billing department ever I came across. They keep sending bills even after calling and specifically mentioning that the Insurance provider they claimed is not correct and updated them. They even went ahead and claimed with wrong provider. They opened a case and told me they'll update me. But no calls at all. Even if that is acceptable when I call them they tell don't take responsibility. I keep getting bills from 2years ago. I stopped going there just for mental peace.

My doctor for about 15 years was dr Charles Powell. I loved him. His PA was even adorable. When they left I unfortunately went with his replacement dr Torres. He is awful. From day one. No bedside manner. No eye contact. I have purposely made appointments with his PA which is always somebody different. Obviously he can't keep the same PA. Went in to have covid and flu test. Got swabbed. Was told results would be in 15 minutes.
The girl left. I guess his nurse. She never came back. 40 minutes I'm still sitting in a closed room. I opened the door and see one person. She says the nurse is finishing up with a patient. What am I? I asked where the doc is and she says he's there but he NEVER came in my room to at least acknowledge me. My appointment was for 3;45. I left at 4:45. I will not go back to this so called doctor!

I have been using Healthcare Associates of Texas for 6-7 years now. I have had some good experiences with them during those years. They do have some good doctors; however, the practice as a whole seems more concerned with revenue than with patient care. I understand it is a business, but they are in the business of healthcare and if I'm not mistaken they take an oath regarding patient care.
I recently have had a sleep study (2, one in-home and another overnight). They could have obtained the same information in the overnight without charging for two. The whole process has taken more than 4 months and I have yet to get the results of the overnight to know what the next steps are. I will be looking for a new doctor in a different practice.

The reason for the poor review is their billing practice. They made us pay the full bill when we had an MRI in April even though we had insurance. As expected, our insurance paid most of the claim, but this office still hasn't refunded the $500 we overpaid even though we've contacted them several times and they said they were re-funding our credit card within 10 days. It's been 3 months

Healthcare Associates of Texas Wellness Clinic. I was referred by my doctor to have a sleep study here. Go somewhere else. Although all of the people I have dealt with and those interactions at Healthcare Associates of Texas Wellness Clinic went well, I will not be using this company to perform future sleep studies or provide diagnosis. I had my first contact with this company in mid April of 2021.
It took an inordinate amount of time to have 2 sleep studies, obtain a diagnosis, and finally get new equipment, 4 1/2 months to be exact. I should have gone somewhere else. Except for significant life events in my family and not wanting further personal stress, I would have. I got my new equipment on Aug 30, 2021. Find a different provider.

The Doctor (Dr. Mihill) was great, unfortunately the administrative staff are young, dumb and rude. We needed my wife's records for her disability insurance. It took multiple attempts to get them to send it. I had to threatened to report them to the Texas Medical Board in order to get a copy of her records. I was in today for a my testosterone pellet blood work and was told the procedure was not covered and would cost me $750.00.
They apparently assume that since one company doesn't cover the procedure all insurance company's don't as well. They were all too lazy to call the insurance company to confirm one way or the other. My insurance company has been paying for this procedure every 90 days for the past two years. Look for independent family doctors in your area first before dealing with these Doc-n-a-box type facilities.

I've been going here for years. They have always been quick to get me in, diagnose, and get me on my way. They have many different medical system's available to be a one-stop shop. Btw - the staff is friendly and efficient. I appreciate the diagnosis are to-the-point and guide you in the best way for recovery or your needs.

I'm writing this for my husband. He is so frustrated and his blood pressure is through the roof. There a several matters going on, but this review will be about a bill and trying to get a hold of the Billing Dept. Three times over the last month and a half, my husband has had three (3) Conference call meetings to talk to the Doctor. Three (3) times he sat in front of his computer before and hours after the scheduled appointment.
He was told the doctor would call him. No calls and couldn't get a hold that day with the office to find out what happened. Once he was able to talk to someone they apologized and rescheduled. We how have a bill for Three (3) missed appointments at $50 each and has yet to talk to the Doctor. The second half of this is that we have been calling to talk to billing.
I left my number at 1:18pm today and got a call that I think was the office at 4:58pm, I keep saying hello and after a minute they hung up. My husband is 73 and needs to stay on top of his healthcare. At the end of the year when we pick his Doctor it will not be this Group of Doctors. I would hope that the Doctors own the practice, and that they are aware of how bad their office is.
If not they may find that they don't have a practice and it has no value to investors that might want to buy it. So very sad. The person the doctors have to take care of the business so they can care for the patients has really dropped the ball and if they have no vested interest in the practice running effectively, they will find the business is gone.

My Son was seen by Nurse Practitioner Tatiana Daniel. He was to be seen for school physical. They took his blood pressure twice. It was high and he explained he was really stressed after not passing a state certification exam. The nurse Practitioner did not even take his pulse while taking his BP. Then she says he has hypertension and he is obese then say she will not sign the papers.
Then tells us we he will have to be seen again. We ended up having to make an appointment with a doctor in Lewisville. He was seen in that same evening. BP normal and papers signed. The Nurse and Nurse Practitioner at the Avondale Haslet clinic were both extremely rude and were not helpful. I would avoid this location and staff at all costs.

I have nothing negative to say about my doctor, nor his staff. But Healthcare Associates of Texas is just poorly managed overall. My family members' providers are Texas Health, Children's, and JPS, and all of my family members are able to send email messages directly to their physician through the use of a patient portal (often getting same-day responses). Healthcare Associates of Texas has a patient portal, but it's not nearly as nice as MyChart and the email feature doesn't even work. I've expressed as far back as 7 months ago that this feature on the Healthcare Associates of Texas portal is non-functional, and they've acknowledged that it doesn't work, but they don't seem to be in a rush to fix it. Additionally, (especially since the COVID-19 outbreak) you can expect to be on hold a minimum of 30 minutes just to reach the office staff.
My doctor recommended treatment and told me to call him if it's not working, but getting a message to my doctor is nearly impossible. On April 9, 2020 HCAT posted a YouTube video saying they are now offering TeleVisits. I seriously question the ability of an organization to deliver that level of technology when they can't even get email working, so I posted my concern in the comments section of the YouTube video.
Rather than address my concern, they simply deleted my comment and disabled comments on the video. So now I KNOW they have received the message that I have difficulty reaching my physician, and since their response was to delete my comment rather than reply to it, I can pretty much infer that they care more about P.R. than my healthcare needs. Additionally, on my last semi-annual visit I was told I owed money.
How can that be? I have good insurance, I paid my deductible, and I've received no bills in the mail. I'm told "yeah, the billing department is way behind". I really do like my doctor, but I can't continue to entrust my healthcare to a company that is providing substandard service when there are other great options out there.

I went in because I was ill had something come up on my arm so they took a culture the doctor's appointment itself was good however the culture came back and their response after a 3 phone calls and to emails were the bacteria shows on the lab results if you have any more questions you can come in I'm not a doctor the lab results showed when you look it up online as like life threatening its crazy most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of

If I could give no stars I would. First time visit here and got there 30 minutes before my appointment. Waited 2 hours before I was seen. I dealt with NP Cindi Peters who googled searched information about my medication during the appointment. Even though I went specifically to her because I was told she dealt with ADD patients. Prescribed me the wrong dosage for medication I had been taking for years then instead of helping me she refers me to someone else. Nurses were extremely rude and could clearly tell from their voices they hated their jobs. Worst experience ever don't waste your time. Plenty of good doctors at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Irving who actually know what they are doing.

Absolutely the worst wait time. My appt was scheduled for 10:30. I prechecked in online had everything in order and I'm still waiting an hour an a half later. These drs clearly have no consideration for other people's time. After this appt with Dr Biard I'm going to look for someone else. This place is a joke.

We absolutely adore Dr David Deems and he has been our doctor for at least 20 plus years. He's been there for all sorts of aches and pains and always treated us with respect. He diagnosed my husband with his brain tumor and touched my heart when tears seemingly welled a bit and he hugged him. Thankfully while malignant, it's extremely slow growing 4 years later (knock on wood) he got us into to a surgeon next day at UTSW who was amazing.
He also listened to me recently when my husband was having abdominal pain and to me had markedly changed mental status. When he refused to do a ct scan that required contrast to be drank, he knew something was wrong since my husband is always very amiable and listens to Deems. Ambulance called ct scan done. Husband spent over a month in the hospital once requiring cpr and had an arterial bleed that nearly killed him more than once.
He helped save his life for sure. I have personally only ever had one issue with a medical assistant that no longer works there and to this day have no idea what happened except she demanded I come into be seen for refills but I had a business meeting/training in Maine that was going to last 3 weeks and she called after 3pm and my flight was 7am. Long story but she is no longer there and I have never had a problem before or since. He's treated my ailments as I would expect with sincere caring. I'm a registered nurse and my husbands a paramedic so we aren't lay people in the medical world and we love how dr seems doesn't talk down to us.
Plus this guy has found the fountain of youth. Hope he never retires. He also doesn't rush us. I've yet to have what other who see associates call a "5 minute" appt. he's awesome!

I specifically made an early appointment 8.15am in advance for bloodwork as I was taking time off work. I got there on time and waited in a room till 9.15am. before the PA walked in. I had to walk out of my room to remind someone that I was still waiting. Not only did this happen but I had to call for my bloodwork results 3x before someone bothered to get back to me. Wait time is way too long and the customer service is terrible. Will not be going back!
