Initially made up of one physician, Dr. E.J. "Jack" Schewe, Jr., Columbia Surgical Associates has evolved since its beginning in 1961 to include more than two dozen physicians. As leaders in our profession, the Columbia Surgical Associates team is dedicated to quality health care. Our surgeons have advance medical expertise in Bariatric, Vascular, Endovascular, Breast, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology.
Nine surgeons and three nurse practitioners provide the surgical care at Columbia Surgical Associates. Their years of experience and their dedication to continuing education and innovation provide the citizens of Mid-Missouri with state-of-the-art surgical care. They have been the first to introduce several surgical advances to this area, including minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and endovascular surgery.
