Ob-Gyn Associates Of Holland

The receptionists/schedulers are very rude and not understanding to pregnant woman and first time moms. I have yet to meet Dr. Krause and I'm 13 weeks with my first baby. She had an emergency surgery and had to reschedule. I understand these things happen but I am allowed to be a little frustrated because I have waited so long to have an appointment with her.

I wish I remembered the name of the girl that took my phone call because she never put my rescheduled appointment in the system. It was for a week later. Now today I was asked why I don't just see a nurse practitioner and I shouldn't have to explain myself. If I want the opinions of my OB and to meet them I should be able to without the receptionist making me feel bad for it.

I am soo upset and stressed today because of it. I have to wait another week for my appointment. (My boyfriend and I take work off for every appointment as well and are not able to get our hours back) This all could of been avoided if they would just show compassion for the first time moms that can over worry and over stress about their baby.

Just drove all the way from Allegan, have had this appointment for 2 months and nobody disclosed kids weren't allowed in the office until I got there. Being a single mom, I have no one to watch my one child. Waste of time and gas!

I have Dr Gootjes as my ob and she's truly amazing. She's very personable, has a soothing voice, very educated, and just really knows how to prepare a new mother for her new world. I just so glad once you get an ob they're yours for the next three years! Overall the staff is really friendly and go above and beyond to help their patients. I had nothing but good experiences my entire pregnancy there. I highly recommend this place and Dr Gootjes

I've been to numerous Ob's but my goodness, Dr. Gerald has never given up on me with my fertility issues. He gives me hope and he's gives me all the support I need. I'm truly blessed to have found him as an OB. Thank you, for all you do.

They have one person who schedules new pregnancy intakes and she takes her sweet time calling you back. It's been several days and several messages. She obviously could care less that's it's a high risk pregnancy. Smh.

I love it here. Mark Lenters was my doctor he was amazing and always answers my questions and made me feel comfortable. Staff to check in always friendly and professional thank you. Had some appointments rescheduled but hey it's gonna happen. They notified me as soon as they find out. Thank you.

Horrible, just horrible. I was seen in this office two years ago because my OBGYN switched offices and he had been my doctor for 10+ years. Delivered Two of my four children and I felt comfortable with him so I decide to switch offices. Seen once in this office and was not able to even see my OBGYN. Then fast forward to now (two years later) call the office because of issues and wanted to get an appointment.

I was then told they can not even speak with me let alone get a note to the doctor nor scheduled an appointment because I apparently have a balance on my account. Mind you I had/have insurance and only went to the office one time EVER! I never received a bill, phone call or voicemail from them. When I asked if I could pay the mysterious bill, I was told they could not tell me how much it is and I would have to wait until they could call me back in 24-48 hours.but they still would not send a note of my issues to my doctor or make an appointment until it's paid.

What ever happened to "do no harm" I mean I understand if I owe something it needs to be paid but I also need to be seen and can't understand not even speaking with me in regards to my issues. Ugh I will never use this office again.

Absolutely horrific experience with these people. Between the most rude scheduler named Marissa Lopez intentionally berating me on the phone for accidentally forgetting an appointment and then chastising me for not knowing the different between the OB and GYN acronyms, and then this office canceling the appointment that she set up for me without notice of any kind.

They then tried to reschedule me for an appointment over two weeks away, and I'm having an issue that needs immediate attention. I can't fathom how this business can be run like this.

I love it here! Its so hard finding a good doctor and office staff. But hand down everyone is very friendly here. Both south and north side office. Doctor genuinely cares for me and when I call them with any questions they get back to you the same day. If you call after hours they also do a good job at returning your call. I'm 8 month pregnant and so far from the beginning I don't have a single complaint about this office. I know 2 other families that have come here and they definitely spoke well about this office which made me feel better about choosing them from the beginning.

My experience with this office hasn't been the greatest. Communication has been pretty terrible throughout my pregnancy. Not only does my doctor not communicate very thoroughly, but the internal communication between staff seems to be lacking as well. My doctor ordered an NST at the hospital and the front desk told me that someone would call me to set it up but I never got a call until the day of, asking where I was because an appt had been scheduled but I was never informed of the time. Countless other similar circumstances have happened to me which have just caused unnecessary stress and made me feel uncared for in this office.

If you choose to go here, you may have a great experience (as I've heard many have) but just be aware that if you don't have a 'textbook' perfect pregnancy, you might experience some issues.
