Tenafly Pediatrics

Today we visited Tenafly Pediatrics. I do not believe there is a better run practice. The appointments run on schedule and the office staff are friendly and proficient at their jobs. We saw Dr Starer she is a world class Dr. The attention and time she gives her patients are second to none! She made my son who was anxious about his injury feel totally at ease. She gets to know her patients and is a stellar Dr! You will never go wrong visitng DR Starrer who is indeed a !

Tenafly Peds has never steered me wrong. We love Dr. Elkin and all of the nurses and front office staff. They are simply the best!

Sad to give one star. As a first time parent, you want to have the best experiences possible with your child. The staff at the Clifton office were rude to me every single time me or my husband had called the office. I always gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued going to this office as it was convenient for my husband and I, and I had been referred here by a family member and we had been going here since my daughter was born.

She's one years old now. This practice must have more than enough children that they see because the staff doesn't care who comes and goes. When calling to re-schedule a one year wellness check up, I was told "Well the doctor is booked for the next 3 months, there's nothing we can do." And when asking if there was anyone else I can see, I was told "No." Not only are they not kind, they're not helpful.

I sent an email for my child's records to be transferred out to another doctor as I no longer want her to come here and was told "It will take 30 days to get your records to you." They just simply don't care. I will never refer anyone to this practice again. No complaint's about the doctor's. Thankfully my daughter is healthy and well.

I love Tenafly location practice and the staff is very inviting and supportive! We see Dr Starer and she is an excellent doctor. Very understanding and explains what to expect with any situation you face with newborn health and age milestones.

My husband and I were looking for a pediatrician for our daughters and thought this would be a great and convenient place. We signed a record release form and were told we were responsible for having the previous pediatrician fax over all the records. The day before the appointment we called just to make sure everything was ready. Karen answered the phone and told us they hadn't received anything, that they couldn't call because it wasn't their responsibility and proceeded to hang up. Very rude, unprofessional. Everyone has bad days but we had called before and had the same bad experience. Time to find a new place!

This location is great! We are never kept waiting and the staff are as nice as can be. The pediatricians here are kind, caring, and I never feel rushed at an appointment. They are prompt at returning calls and have a great patient portal. They were recommended to me not only by my doula, but also by my neighbors.

Drs, nurses and staff always efficient and generally care about our well being overall.always attentive when sick and proactive when well. We've been patients for 15 years and are so glad we made the decision to choose Tenafly Pediatrics.

Doctors and staff are kind, considerate and efficient. The office leverages the latest technology to make the patient experience smooth, and our Doctor, Dr. Avigayil Elkin, is phenomenal. She's intelligent, sensitive, and a great listener- and relates so well to my teenage daughters!

Dr Schaumberger is an excellent physician who has guided my family and children's health, wellness and development for several years (since they were newborns and multiple children later). Highly recommended.

My boys love Dr. Starter, she is amazing. I highly recommend this doctor. She is very understanding, caring and if you leave her a message she will call you back right away.
