Terrible Customer Service. Rude Reps. Calling me and I have to verify my personal info. YOU are calling me, you have it. I don't think a stranger will pay my bill. Wasting money sending bills every month when making payments online. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

At first when I walked up I thought the receptionist was just having a bad day so I gave her the benefit of the doubt for her attitude. But then she continued to be rude to the elderly lady in-front of me for having questions. Not only did I wait for more than an hour to be called in which is understandable for the season, but the RN Lisa who was checking me in had the same unprofessional attitude as everyone in the front when evaluating me.

The security guard was more mannered than anyone in the front office of the urgent care. I believe its extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional the way this clinic is ran. Bedside manners are the first thing you learn in a medical setting and needs to be addressed in this Watson Clinic. I do not recommend this urgent care to anyone.

You get different information about the billing from every person you talk to. Some people will let you pay a percentage to be seen and some won't let you. They have really gone down hill over the years. Almost every good doctor has left. Stay away from Watson. They only care about money.

Watson Clinic has had a monopoly on Lakeland for quite some time. Medical facilities are supposed to disclosed pricing; Watson clinic as absolutely refused to do this. Due to this failure on their part to disclose the pricing I received a bill I felt I did not owe. Basically I was told by Watson Clinic to bad for you. I refused to pay the bill. Now I am being blackmailed to pay the bill; by Watson clinic refusing to provide care for me. But; it's all okay because they are not a monopoly any longer and I will take my business to Baycare!

I must say I am so happy with the service Dr. Taef has given my husband and I. Dr. Taef is very detail and takes her time and explains every medication, lab work and address in length our concerns. Happy I made this move. Thank you for your great care. Ada and Edgar Delvalle

I called to schedule a psychiatrist appointment for help with my executive disfunction- hoping for appropriate medication. They where scheduled 4 months out, not ideal but it happen. Day of my virtual visit I had not received any confirmation email/call/text or other communication. I'm waiting for the dr to call since thats how all my virtual visits have happened, 10 minutes after the scheduled start time a secretary (I believe she didn't identify herself) calls and tells me I was supposed to call them.

I try to log onto the patient portal I'm flustered and can't remember my password secretary is belittling me about why didnt I remember these things she told me about this 4 months ago. Also that she had called yesterday but since I didnt pick up she did not leave any sort of message (I had no missed calls from the day before). She tells me she is rescheduling me and I need to pick up her call to confirm the day before next time and dont mess up again.

Maybe some people will remember details of what you are told 4 months prior but that is exactly what I'm trying to get help with not be belittled and made to feel like a terrible person. I canceled my appointment and have found a different clinic where they communicate

The billing department of the Watson EMPIRE is basically a carnival huckster roadshow run by a den of thieves. After my second visit I was billed for $60 and when you call the EMPIRE, if your making an appointment or paying money they are extremely nice, the second you ask about a change, how dare you question the superiority of the EMPIRE, the attitudes take a 180 degree turn and you are lied too, talked down too, and outright disrespected for starters, if these assholes worked where I do they would be out the door faster than quick looking for another job.

The lie I was told was "this is the portion my insurance did not pay" When I called my insurance it was the balance of 2 copays for the "specialist" that I was seeing, I wasn't seeing a specialist, I was seeing a primary care physician, so they screwed my insurance company over and tried screwing me over. When I called the EMPIRE back to try and straighten this mistake out, big mistake, the belligerence was overwhelming for starters, and within 2 days I was rewarded by a bunch of goons in a collection office harassing and threatening me non stop nearly 24 hours a day.

It took an administrative complaint through my insurance to get them to stop. A couple of months later I received an invoice at a 0 balance and a phone call not to apologize but "I was fortunate they figured out MY oversight" meaning they can't and won't admit to their mistake which I don't feel was a mistake but an dishonest and intentional act to fraudulently get money out of someone and their insurance (read the the thousands of complaints and reviews, I'm not the only one).

After over 4 months to get this cleared up, I haven't heard from the Watson EMPIRE in about 6 months, until today. Got an an invoice for $30 and when I called and inquired the sweet customer service turned into a raging bitch and "if I think I paid it I needed to bring proof or simply pay it' Yup, we are back at square one, again. What needs to happen is a forensic audit and I will bet money I do not even have that the EMPIRE has massive fraud going on, and it would be nice to see these people taken out of their offices in handcuffs and might sound harsh but liquidate every asset they have to pay back their victims including the insurance companies, and it makes you wonder who they are in bed with to get away with all the crap they pull

I say this clinic needs to fire and hire a whole set of receptionists that want to respectfully do their job. Been twice with my grandma this month, both times a receptionist had an attitude with her - no communication within the building. My grandma is 82. Bad knees and lungs, walks with a walker (barely) and they have her running from receptionists to receptionists because they don't have their information in the computer correctly. Hard to watch someone my age be so rude to my grandma. Bet you don't treat your grandma that way. And if you do, shame on you

PLEASE READ: I've been a patient at WC all my life (not anymore).I blindly trusted them to keep me safe during a procedure. I was permanently physically & psychologically injured by their neglect. After learning of their failure to keep me safe & free from injury/harm, they destroyed evidence & did not report my adverse event to the state which is required by law. Neglectful & Unethical. PATIENTS BEWARE! If you'd like to read more of my story please see my profile on Facebook.

This place is a disaster. I have been taking care of my mother's medical bills remotely as she is 93 years old. I live out of state and have been paying her bills by mail. All of a sudden Watson has lost my name and the address and will not talk to me. She sat in the office for an hour today needing urgent care. They refused to see her since she had an unpaid invoice which I never saw.

I called to make sure they had the correct billing address and they would not talk to me because they have misplaced my information on her HIPA form. So for $55 they will let a 93 year old die in the street. They are not longer sending her statements to me and they will not even let me pay her bill so she can get which she urgently needs. All I can get from them is "I'm sorry."

I used the patient portal to schedule my lab work and follow up appt with my primary doctor. My lab appt showed as going through but not the Dr's appt. I called the scheduling number and was told that neither appt was showing (why have the ability to schedule appts through patient portal if it isn't going to work?). Not to worry, I was told.

They would schedule it for me. I showed up at 7:45 only to find out they set the lab appt for the wrong date! This was after I stood in line for 12 minutes with the slowest clerk known to man. Now I had to go through a different process and sit and wait for them to call me like they do for those who don't have an appt. And to add insult to injury, the final woman who gave me a number and told me to shoot down acted as though I lied about having an appt today. This is unusual treatment here.

They have absolutely no respect for people time I have never then within 30 minutes of my appointment schedule why make appointments if you cannot keep them it really is quite ridiculous the amount of time you have to sit here and wait they can call to make sure you're coming but they don't have the decency to call to tell you they are running more than an hour behind today

I enjoy coming here for service. Lots of doctors in the same system so it's easy for all of your info to remain central. I like my ARNP Italia. She was down to earth and informative. I was looking for a black Gyno so I'm excited I found her. My allergist Dr. Bonini is a kind older man. Helped me figure my hives issue.

I am a great fan of Watson Clinic. It has been my experience that the staff members are great. Only glich is the check in desk, floating clerks does not equate to efficiency. Otherwise, have had wonderful care from doctors and nurses as well as techs. While I don't always agree, I respectfully question and receive answers I can understand. Have had lazer treatments bilaterally after retinal detachments, 2 bouts of cataracts and scarring. Dr. Gant is wonderful in opthamology, highly recommend. All in all, best place for med treatment in central Florida I have found.

This is Keith Boudreaux. Dr. Joffre Rivera was amazing. All my specialist and pcp is at Watson clinic. I have over 11 dr I see at this place. In April 2019. I arrived in a wheelchair so it hard to get around. Soon as I rolled in a man named Jorge ask me can I help you roll around. I said yes please it so hard. He said I can imagine. So I told me I am seeing Dr. Joffre Rivera.

He said 3rd floor to the back here we go! So Jorge rolled me all the way to the desk to check in. Now wait not only he did this but he held a pin and paper work so I can easily fill it out. After I did he handed to the lady at the desk. I am like wow! He said I'll roll you right here when your done please call me I'll come get you. I am like oh ok (are you for real?) so the extremely nice nurse cake got me sorry no name tag on. Rolled me in the office got my information did her job extremely well.

Now remember she had to take my vital signs and add my medications in the computer system. She did this in mins. And she never had to ask the same question twice. It was that easy! Then I waited only a few mins. Dr Joffre came in. Well quest what he listen to me asked me questions! I told him about other drs what they was doing. He said I am here for you!

He told me my goal and plan. Told me personal stuff. To know. I got treatment plan. Going ASAP. This dr did not play around. He saw my personal paper work from other test. He made notes and had a passion for what he is doing. After we had a long conversation. Told me about my treatment. He gave me a goal and plan. After that a new nurse came in gave me next time scheduling and meds list ect.

Now the dr order blood work. So the nurse called Jorge. He came for me. He greeted me with a smile. He told me they said blood work? I said yes. He then rolled me down to the lobby to get blood work. He then said I am off at 5pm but call me anyway when your done. But here is your number. Jorge used the Computer to give me a number! So I did not have to do it.

He then told he lady at the labs desk call me I'll come get him. Did labs and with in mins the lady at the desk called Jorge. She roll me out to the under hang. To wait for him. I told her thank you very much. Again no name tag. So with in seconds Jorge has his golf cart to drive me to my car. Jorge knows I am disabled. Can't do anything.

He told me to go ahead and pop the trunk I'll assist you with your wheelchair. Damn! Really yes that right! So he did. Jorge went above and behind to help me. This was my first time here at Waston Clinic. I am switching all my specialist here. I am not joking. Staff is 10 star. Parking staff 10 star Dr Joffre Rivera is 10 star. I am treated like a king and a person that I am. Been to long.

I have bad drs in the past. No more will I be stressed out or have depression anxiety bc of how I am not treated at Watson Clinic. Blood work was done. Too soon as I got home I checked me email my blood work test results was on line in seconds no more having to wait weeks or a month for results I been going to LabCorp and quest diagnostics. No more now. I will go to Watson clinic is the only place for Labs radiology and more! Love me drs

I am a 63 year old Caucasian female. I recently moved here from another state. On a recent visit to Dr Recto I was told I had diabetes and zero bone density. How is zero bone density even possible? I would be breaking every bone I have just walking. Since I had a bone density test one year before And I had the bone density of a 30 year old I questioned the results.

I explained the previous results to Dr Recto as well as the fact I drink about a half gallon of milk per day. She dismissed my facts and declared herself correct. The bone density thing gnawed at me so I went back to the clinic and asked how many people had my last name and five had the exact same name (different first name spelling) and one of them had diabetes and zero bone density.

Any one can make a mistake but refusing to consider other facts is down right dangerous. She was inconsiderate rude and arrogant. She refused to consider that someone else might have the same name. The prescribing of medicine without retesting is dangerous. Fortunately I can afford to travel home to my doctor and will be doing so from now on.

In July of 2018 I was actually seen at Lakeland Regional Medical Center for a colonoscopy after being admitted in the emergency room. The doctor who saw me works at Watson Clinic and therefore have been billed through them as well as Lakeland Regional. As a military veteran I am fortunate enough to have 100% disability, so naturally when LRMC requested my insurance information I gave them my primary which was VA and my secondary which was Tricare.

The billing dept at LRMC and Watson Clinic both decided to bill the more convenient provider which is Tricare, and left me with the remainder. I received the bill from LRMC that same year and after explaining their "mishap" the bill was forgiven. I received the bill from Watson clinic for the visit at LRMC due to the fact that their doctors Dr. Eve Roman and Dr. Scott Kelley both work at Watson Clinic.

I didnt receive their bill until after the calander year in May 2019 almost one year after the visit. I explained how my primary was NEVER billed and I should not owe them the $71.88 they were requesting. I explained this to 3-4 different billing professionals and requested to speak to the billing manager each time. The billing managers Tracy, Cassie, and Tammy were all contacted but never responded.

I did a formal dispute, which was ignored. I have contacted their patient advocate, and was ignored. Now I have received a letter that they will be sending my bill to collections if it is not paid in 30 days, Instead of billing the proper insurance companies. This company and the Doctors that work there do not CARE about their patients or the proper and LEGAL way of doing things. I am a Veteran, and even though I believe everyone deserves respect, I'm surprised at the lack of respect they show the humans that fought for their freedom.

NEW TO THE AREA Where I had private as well as VA Medical assistance. WATSON CLINIC AND THEIR STAFF ARE AMAZING The best I've ever experienced in some going on 85 years of life. THEY CARE, THEY LISTEN, THEY HELP AND UNDERSTAND. I am very comfortable with everything about Watson, . Have an upcoming cornea transplant operation, The Doctor was going on vacation. no big deal. And as a veteran even though I am satisfied with the VA, COMPLETELY, I still CHOOSE WATSON.

I've been to Watson Clinic Urgent Care once before today. Everyone including the Doctor was wonderful. However the second trip here is the last. The staff here were very nice except for Dr Kenneth Stroub. Dr Stroub ( and I use the term Doctor in his case loosely) is absolutely the worst Doctor I have experienced in my 57 years of life. And I am an RN of 35 years.

He was rude, unkind, patronizing, and he refused to allow me to verbalize my symptomatology before he jumped to a diagnosis. He is compassionless. I felt more compassion from the scribe who accompanied him into the exam room. If you are really sick and need a Doctor, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. As the years passes, you can also expect that your wait times are going to be longer and longer because of OVERBOOKING patients. This is practice that can averages from 40 min to over 2 1/2 hours. As the clinic shows growth throughout Polk County, the patient service is going down hill fast. The board of directors should take a sincere look at this " Hurry up and Wait " scheme they have here and refocus on the patients in their waiting room.

Unfortunately they have this market Manopolized and it would be difficult to go elsewhere. They should rename this place to The Wait-some Clinic. If you have a choice, do not choose The Watson Clinic.

I've waited a few weeks before writing this review since I've not had much good experience with medical persons in my life. I've had some real "characters" for medical personnel. But I'm also medical alphabet soup so things have to be done just so or things won't work right. AND I have a service dog. That just ups the complications. But. Watson Clinic?

We got our wires crossed and I got a male GP, not a fan but okay. He actually listened to me and didn't brush me off when I was explaining my mysterious issue and ordered a plethora of tests and hooked me up with a bunch of other doctors for me to work with. I think I'll keep the guy. He listens and respects the weirdness that is me. (And I'm pretty freaking weird.) My first visit, I went straight from my intro appointment on the second floor of Main to have some xrays done.

And I didn't even have to park my butt in the chair in the waiting room before I was taken in for my xrays. And my tech was personable and was great about the autistic thing where touching is just not a thing, I'm a lifelong pro at xrays so she just let me do my thing. Then comes all the labwork. I don't do labwork very well. Things get ugly then messy then I wake up a couple hours later. But, again, the tech I got to deal with?

She was great. Instead of prolonging things like some techs I've dealt with, she got it done and over with before I got through my colour changing routine. No vomit, no fainting. 40 Points to Watson Clinic because I hate throwing up. And I just got a set of MRIs done today. Never had one but I've heard only horror stories. They referred to my file and made sure to let me know before they had to touch me, they let my service dog stay with me until the very last second and even reunited us for my break for the contrast so he could check on me to make sure I wasn't going to have any issues from the machine.

The amazing ladies even made sure I was comfortable repeatedly throughout my nearly 3 hours in that teensy tiny tube of terror and noise - and they set me up with some music to help distract me. They didn't get frustrated with me when I forgot not to move, they just reminded me not to move and asked if I needed a break. Finally. My service dog is going through his medical realm training so he's still getting used to all of this.

Everybody at Watson Clinic that we've interacted with, from the security personnel on Saturday mornings to a kind valet who kept me company at the elevator bay on my first visit waiting for my companion to the nursing staff to the techs to the doctor and the really nice security guard in the cart? They've all been great with not going dog-crazy on us and respecting the whole "working dog, no talk, no touch" rule.

My only real problem with Watson Clinic as of yet is the chairs. I'm a plus size individual and most of those chairs don't fit larger sized individuals. Or they do in a painful way that leaves bruises. Yeouch. So far, I haven't had any problems with Watson Clinic that would make me hate coming all the way from Kissimmee. Totally worth the drive. Not including any photos because don't take photos at medical centres, that's an invasion of other patients' privacy. no. don't do that.
