At the first visit I thought it was a good informative visit, then a second and third visit. Super short visit with doctor. First visit says he is going to have my feet taped. Second time same thing. Third time mentioned I was going to not need them. He said they would be removable/reusable. Like a tape sleeve that just slides off constantly useless.

I received each bill not one mention of billing me for putting tape on my feet. Several weeks later I received a bill for $138. Stated surgery on this new invoice. No one ever mentioned anything about being charged for tape. I would have refused. Called back after receiving the bill ended up speaking with the office manager who was unwilling to work with me and only option was to call my insurance provider. Very deceptive practice not disclosing a chargeable service or item above the charge for the visit.

My husband came very pleased this visit.he told me that Kelley was very pleasant, and make him feel very a comfortable.the doctor is always very attentive and friendly. Great job.

I was at the clinic for almost an hour and a half and the majority of that time I was actually with the doctor. Dr. Fazekas took his time with me and explained things and didn't make me feel like he was in a hurry to get somewhere else. With his treatment plan after only 12 hours, my ankle is already feeling better so I am very hopeful as more time progresses. Everyone was very nice and I didn't spend much time in the waiting room or in the patient room waiting on someone.

I have been going to these wonderful people for over 40+ years, since my first ankle fracture in Little League Baseball - I can't say enough about how awesome, friendly, and professional they have always been. First-Class all the way!

My first visit with the Foot & Ankle Associates was awesome! I have to tell you, it is very rare when you go into a Doctor's office for the first time, that you feel that you already know everyone! My mother always told me that "A first impression, is a lasting one", and it was. From the front office staff through the entire process, everyone was pleasant and they make you feel welcomed. Dr. Edward Fazekas was kind and exceptionally knowledgeable as to what was going on with my foot before I finish explaining everything to him. I knew then, I was at the right place! Thank you

My 17 year old daughter recently had to have a fairly complex ankle surgery. As any teen would be, she was not only afraid of the surgery itself, but of two weeks of bed rest, and time missed from school. Dr. Werd and the entire staff at Foot and Ankle Associates were amazing. They went above and beyond in answering her MANY questions, and making sure she was comfortable with the procedure.

Our initial consultation was in December and we have our next follow up soon. All of our appointments have had little to no wait time. We never felt rushed, or as if the Dr. was in a hurry to move on to the next room. The entire staff, receptionist, technition, nurses, and Dr. Werd made sure my daughter felt that she was in good hands. As a Mom, they exceeded my expectations.

Over the past 6 months, I have had a lot of trouble with my feet. I know for a fact that far more tears would have been shed if it weren't for amazing Dr. Fazekus and the nurses here. Even while Dr. Fazekus performed surgery on me, he was talking to me and asking me questions, keeping me relaxed and calm. He checked up on me above and beyond what would have been expected and took amazing care of me. I would highly recommend Foot & Ankle Associates to anyone. You will not be disappointed with treatment, care, or the kindness of the staff here.

I've been very pleased with the care I've received from Dr. Werd and his staff during my foot surgeries. Dr. Werd came highly recommended from the Tampa running community when I was seriously considering surgery and sought advice for a great foot surgeon--particularly for my goal of returning to running, which had become limited after pain and inflammation caused by longtime bunions.

He was very thorough and patient during my initial consultation and gave all the information I needed to solidify my decision to have surgery, and as a triathlete himself he understood my particular concerns about running. He is professional and kind and was very comforting during my first surgery, which went very well. I have received excellent follow-up care from Dr. Werd and staff, as well as from the surgical center--which was another positive experience. Although I'm still recovering and have another surgery yet to go, I feel confident I'm in the best hands.

Dr Werd performed surgery on my left foot after I had a bad break back in 2007. At the same time, he performed a bunionectomy on that same foot. He did an excellent job back then. Seven weeks ago, he performed a bunionectomy on my right foot, and again, he did an excellent job. I am hoping my boot comes off this coming Monday, so I will see how I do once I am back wearing shoes.

I have every confidence that everything is and will continue to be great! Dr. Werd is, in my opinion, the absolute best foot doctor in this area. Not only is he a great foot surgeon, but he is very pleasant to talk to, and he never makes you feel like he is rushing you so he can get on to the next patient. Actually, it is quite the opposite. He takes the time to listen to any concerns and questions you may have.

He also has all of the equipment he needs right in his office, so that you don't have to go anywhere else for x-rays and whatever else is needed. His staff and nurses are all very professipnal, well-trained, and very friendly. Dr. Werd and his whole staff are fantastic! I highly recommend him!

I have been using Foot & Ankle Associates for nearly ten years. Drs. Werd and Fazekas are the very bIest at what they do. They saved my big toe when it became badly infected, and provide monthly care for my feet to help keep them healthy since I have diabetes. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and provide me with excellent care on all of my office visits. I have recommended them to several friends and recommend them to anyone who needs a excellent Podiatrist.
