Services
Our goal has always been to provide a place where patients receive outstanding care in a very personal setting - a place kids are very comfortable and where parents are confident in the care their children receive. We are privileged to be your partner as we work together to keep your child healthy from birth through adolescence, working through medical, behavioral and academic issues. All our physicians are Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Our office is conveniently located near the intersection of FM 1826 and Highway 290 West, in the Seton Southwest Hospital complex. There is plenty of FREE parking. We are on the 2nd floor of Medical Plaza ONE which is the building closest to FM 1826. When you exit the elevator, we are immediately to the left AND right of the elevators in suites 220 and 240.
All of our doctors and nurse practitioners provide excellent, up-to-date medical care and always work within the spirit of partnership and empowerment to our patients and parents. We value communication between providers as well, so when we share the care of a patient, we work hard to keep everybody in the loop. We do not share call with other groups, so if you need to talk with someone after hours, it will be Southwest Pediatrics providers only.
From greeting your child at their next check up, processing referrals, returning calls about sick kids, measuring well babies and making sure your insurance is filed correctly, our staff does a lot! All medical assistants and triage staff are certified and have undergone specific training and sign-offs to make sure their technique meets our strict approval.

My family is fairly new to the Austin area, but I got super lucky with Southwest Pediatrics! My daughter just turned two and is pretty scared about going to the doctors office.but Dr. Gu and the medical assistant (I'm sorry, I forgot her name!) are quick and most of all, gentle! We've been so fortunate to have been seeing Dr. Gu for a year now and she never makes me feel like any concern is too small to be addressed. It's also important to note it's tough dealing with a squirming toddler, so props to Dr. Gu and staff for an awesome job!

We've worked with swpedi since they helped deliver our DD in 2012 and have always been happy with their doctors and staff. We've worked with Dr Jollett and Nurse York many times this year - in the second year of the pandemic, either after hours, with online appointments, or on demand to deal with acute issues and they're both always wonderful and patient with our family. Highly recommend!

This group of Doctors has always been avaliable for us and they really care about their patients. They are easy to communicate with. Dr. Chapa has been our pediatrician for 3 years and he is so kind and caring. We've occasionally seen Dr. Wagner and I also have a lot of confidence in him. There isn't a doctor there that I wouldn't want my kids to be seen by and we appreciate all of their hard work and long hours.

I cannot say enough about Dr Jolet. She is the most amazing pediatrician I've ever met. She gets the kids to open and talk like I've never seen before and I have teenagers! They trust her, she listens and engages them and asks the best questions and it's like we're her only patients for the day because she spends so much time with us. So grateful we have her!

The providers at Southwest Peds are wonderful. They are warm, kind, and provide extremely high quality care. I've never had to wait very long for an appointment, and they always get us right in if one of my kids is sick. My kids feel very comfortable with the providers and so do I. I can't recommend them highly enough.
