Achieving your desired complexion can be laborious and expensive. Some even spend thousands of dollars each year to find the best combination of moisturizing, clarifying, and toning products, only for all of them to fall short on expectations. Spartanburg Dermatology & Skin Surgery Clinic, P.C. has the resources and skills to properly identify your skin needs, offering you a much better chance at achieving your desired results. Many times, this includes addressing underlying issues that develop fine lines, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage.
Every year, it's important to visit a dermatologist to help check for signs of skin cancer. Melanoma is extremely prevalent in the US, and catching early warning signs is critical for treatment. We know that constantly looking over your skin for signs of skin cancer or other abnormalities can be difficult, as many patients are not aware of what they should even be looking for.

I am a malignant melanoma skin survivor and I have trusted the doctors at Spartanburg Dermotology and Skin Surgery Clinic to keep my skin in perfect condition for over 14 years. At every check up, they are very caring, knowledgable, and answer any questions I may have as well as educating me on how to prevent more skin cancers in the future. They are very personable and generous with their time at your appointments. I can not recommend them highly enough.

The management to this place needs to be assessed. I am a Melanoma patient, okay. When I have a new mole that arises that doesn't look right, I feel as if I need to be seen. SOON! I have been told it would be months before being seen. People with a hx don't have mths. Also, called just today for a sebaceous cyst that is tender, red, and swollen.obviously some infection.

They told me it would be December. December with probably MRSA? No, I think not. The ONLY reason I gave this place 2 stars is because my dr., Dr. Clementson, is AMAZING! She deserves to work in a different clinic. Westside made room for my emergency both times! I am afraid I will have to take business there. Spartanburg Derm, I am afraid it won't be long before everyone catches on to your lack of management. I work in a healthcare office and you always, always, always have to have same day emergencies!

On September 26, 2018, I called to schedule an appointment to have my adult acne assessed and hopefully treated. As an existing patient I thought I would be able to get in within the week. After waiting several minutes to speak with a scheduler I was informed the soonest I could be seen was January 16, 2019, but I could be placed on the cancellation call list and maybe be seen sooner. I am taking my business elsewhere. Westside Dermatology scheduled an appointment for me on September 27, 2018, the very next day!

I wasn't really satisified with my visit it was like all of the rest with my issue look real quick and prescribe medicine, i do have to say the doctor did give me samples of a medication that was a plus, but never explained about side effects just to take with food, then during my exam no gloves were worn picking and poking around my skin, i was very uncomfortable and having to wait 2 months to get in and pay a $45.00 co pay i left feeling worse then i went in.

I am so done with Dr's they take one look at you and make their assumptions even before examinations or lack there of, maybe i caught the dr. having a bad day or a difficult pt. before me, but i am pretty sure i will not be returning, i know there aren't alot of derm. dr's in the area but i will research a little harder if i need to be seen again.

I recently had an appointment here as a second opinion and have now made them my primary dermatologist. The building is a little outdated but the quality of service more than makes up for it.
