Upstate Carolina Radiology PA

I agree with the others about the terrible billing arrangement. I'm continually getting threatening letters from PFC in Greeley, CO about a bill I owe (this time for $10.92, and it's the first I've heard of this one) and that payment is demanded or collection action will start. They'll send me a copy of the debt and the judgment, blah, blah, blah. If I have a choice on Radiology outfits to use, I'll certainly decline this one solely for their lousy billing practices!

AWFUL, I never received a bill from Upstate Carolina Radiology and the next thing I received a letter from their receivable company saying that I had been handed over for non-payment. Seems this company does not have an accounts department and uses debt collectors instead. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

I was there with my mother in law she was treated like a queen and the nurses and drs are awesome

I received a bill from Receivable Management for this company last month. I immediately made a payment. I got a call from Receivable Management today who said my account would be put on my credit if not paid in full by January 29th. I explained that I am currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and Ms. Welch from Receivable Management gave me the number for Upstate Carolina Radiology and suggested I call and let them know I am undergoing hardship to see if there is anything they can do.

I called immediately and spoke with a man with a foreign accent who placed me on hold. He came back and said an invoice was mailed to me in September 2019 and since they never heard from me they sent my account to Receivable Management. I explained that I never got the invoice and asked why no one tried to call me or make any other attempts to contact me before sending my account to someone else.

He could not answer that question and just reiterated that an invoice was sent in September. As if cancer treatment isn't stressful enough these folks are trying to take the possibility of home ownership from me as well. I will be petitioning for Spartanburg Regional to cease using this company for services. I never went to Upstate Carolina Radiology so how could I have known that I owed money without being contacted? Heartless.

DO NOT USE - Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They make it so you can't pay your bill online, claim they send you statements in mail but don't, and then only accept payment via 1980s hackable chat or by phone (automated). After asking four times they admitted they would send to collections and I had been trying to pay online for over a month which they simply tell you they just have issues with their online payment system. Also setting up a payment plan I had to contact three separate times which I was told three separate answers. DO NOT USE

If I could them no stars, I would. Terrible billing department in Atlanta. This is a Spartanburg, SC business but they direct all billing to their billing office in Atlanta. If you have a procedure done, ask who is going to read the results. And do not use Upstate Carolina Radiology, Ever

Dr. Harp did a sacroplasty and a kyphoplasty procedure on my mother and he is Wonderful! Dr. Harp the staff that works with him explained everything concerning her condition and he had a very passionate bedside manner.

They sent my bills to an incorrect address. Ended up sending me a collection letter because I never got the bills and in the meantime, I moved, so the bills weren't forwarded. At no time, in 6 months, did they ever bother to call me to discuss the bill, though they had my correct phone number. This is no way to run a business.

Absolute worst billing department in the world and you have no choice when you go to Spartanburg Community Hospital. They place a note at the bottom of your statement before your insurance company provides an EOB letter that states "You are responsible for payment in full within 20 days". Not sure when the 20 days starts, but immediately after this letter arrived I received a letter from Receivable Management Group demanding payment. Receivable Management Group is one of these maggot companies that begin harassment of payment.

This Yelp review is pointless since you have no choice when you go to an upstate hospital but beware of their billing practice. I think next time I go to a hospital before treatment I will demand to know what I am being charged before they render service, even if I am bleeding to death. Death might be a better option. MAGGOTS!
