But time passes. The stress from bills, work, and the kids thickens, shared dreams with your partner no longer exist, and routine unhappiness begins to settle. Isn't it time to reach out to someone who knows what you're going through and, better yet, can help you deal with this situation in the least impactful way possible? Whether you're dealing with problems on your own, problems with family or loved ones, or struggling with the myriad issues that come with being in a blended family, we have clinicians on duty who are ready and willing to help.
Services
While we've had experience helping people of all ages and many different backgrounds, the people who tend to get the most out of our services are parents who are committed to helping their kids adapt to new circumstances (i.e., separation or divorce, blending of families, etc.) with as little negative impact as possible.
You've lost motivation to do the things you once loved, and it's getting harder and harder to be around people. You're getting into arguments with your significant other and your co-workers, and you just don't feel like "the old you." What you need now is a push in the right direction - some relief from the burden of everyday life.
You notice that they're always irritated, and they're not telling you what's wrong despite your numerous efforts. You knew when you looked into their eyes when they were a child that they would have a great life full of success. You want to get them back on track so they can start to feel and do better.
You had so much in common, and the things you didn't have in common seemed to complete, rather than detract, from you as a couple. Even your eccentricities and peculiarities were amusing and endearing to one another, and you couldn't get enough of those, either. The newness went away. And maybe the things that felt just "odd" or "cute" eventually morphed into major problems.

My husband and I have been seeing Mr. Adams for marital counseling and he has done wonders in navigating us through the seemingly impossible task of communicating in marriage. We have seen so much improvement in such a short amount of time with all thanks to Mr. Adams and this group practice. When I was frantically searching for the right therapist, I had called and left several messages to other practitioners with no response or a response days later.
Our situation was severe enough for me feeling the need to talk to someone asap. I called Mr. Adams and got his voicemail, felt defeat, and didn't leave a message. Minutes later, he took the time to return my call, not knowing my number. I felt that he truly cared, even when I wasn't a current client, and it felt right. Im glad we've found him, and his practice, and know we have a tremendous support on our side.

I've been working with Family Wellness Group for almost a year and I can say without question that they have played an essential role in helping me navigate some of life's most difficult transitions. I think it's really important to not have therapist that tells you what you should think or do but rather one who helps you both understand yourself better and also equips you with perspectives to pursue whatever you feel in your heart is the right choice - because it's what YOU believe and what YOU want. That's what you get here. A sounding board, a mirror, and guard rails that help you focus and shine a light on your own higher and deeper perspectives.
