I've had two appointments with Dominion Eye Care. One in Warrenton, one in Manassas. Let me just say that the front desk folks at both locations are fantastic! Capable, friendly and professional. Dr Pham is obviously a highly rated ophthalmologist that cares about each patient. I feel totally confident in their abilities to restore my eyesight (cataracts). Update: 3 months after cataract surgery.
I chose the basic cataract surgery for several reasons. I do have to wear reading glasses for reading, looking at my phone, tablet, etc. As far as distance goes - I can see like a hawk. I can see the dust and cobwebs in my house! I enjoy every day, being able to see into the woods around our home, watching the birds in full focus! It's amazing! Thank you Dr Pham and staff!

I took my grandfather there for an appointment. He has been going there for years. When I got there I was notified about a billing issue that had been going on well before I started taking care of him. He had been twice before under my care with no notice of any issue going on. When I was trying to determine what was going on and explain why not being properly notified of what was going on created an issue for him an his visit the person at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE! Continually talking over me, nasty attitude, and very sarcastic.
I have NEVER had someone in the profession of taking care of patients even if they are front desk staff speak to me in that way. My grandfather loved this practice, but after today he is highly upset and disappointed as I am. Very poor experience!

Worst experience I've ever had and it ended up being a waste of time and money. The lady wanted to set up an appointment without knowing my issue and the reason I needed to come in. The doctor had no interest in wanting to hear what I had to say. He gave no clarity or insight, so that I would feel better in knowing that my problem would be resolved.
He came in the room for at least 5 minutes, checked my eyes and said there's inflammation. Anyone could've seen that there was inflammation. He then said that my eyes were perfectly fine and gave me a prescription for inflammation (regular over the counter drops). He was very unhelpful and didn't give me any time to ask any questions that I had. He got up and proceeded to open the door, while I was trying to ask questions that didn't get answered.
He just proceeded to give me a contradictory response and didn't acknowledge what I was saying, like "those are blood vessels and they are always there". After somewhat of an unhelpful and very uncaring 5 minutes with the doctor, I went to the checkout area where their was a rude lady, giving the worst service I've seen ever. After about 20 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes with the doctor I was charged almost $200 for the visit. Overall, I would never recommend going here to anyone and If you have any eye injury or trauma.
I suggest going to a Costco optometrist, they will give you information about your problem and prescribe you medicine for much cheaper. Completely unprofessional and the doctor didn't give any care at all. If you want to feel like your questions or concerns are being answered and you want to be given helpful insight and information about your problem, then DO NOT come to this place.

We have been coming to dominion eye care for years. The Dr.s and staff are absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable of their jobs, very compassionate with their patients. Dr. Hogge always takes time to explain each procedure and so does the tech. We feel so bless to have excellent eye care with dominion eye care.

I had a piece of metal lodged in my eye. They were able to work me in right away as a new patient. The wait was quick, I was taken back to a room within about 10 minutes. The nurse asked some questions and the doctor followed shortly after she was done. He looked at my eye and was able to find it right away. He took it out and I was on my way. As no stranger to all different kinds of injury this is one of the most professional practices I've been to. I would absolutely recommend them for the clean offices, professionalism, and to the point care.

The previous reviewer undoubtedly saw Dr. Egge. He is retiring, thankfully. I also found him to be laconic, rather brusque, and worst of all, was not forthcoming about an eye condition I realize he saw during several exams but never told me about. His replacement, Dr. Pham, informed me of the condition and explained it immediately upon her initial exam of me.
Overall this practice seems very reputable with friendly, efficient office help and technicians. The scheduling is very good with no unreasonable waits. Also, my husband had very successful cataract surgeries with Dr. Hogge, another doctor at this practice.

One of the worst experiences I have had with any physician in any specialty ever The doctor was rude, pompous, unwilling to explain anything or answer any medical questions He didn't even have the courtesy to introduce himself He was out of the exam room before I could even begin to ask a question. I will not return to this practice When I called today, the day after my appointment to ask that my records be sent to me the nurse asked me why I wanted them When I told her how I felt about him she replied that he was a good doctor but rather old and settled in his ways Well dinosaurs are old too but extinct I would not suggest anyone going to this group if a choice exists.

My daughter was concerned about her vision in the left eye. During her sports physical at Urgent Care in town they also advised of an issue when she read the chart. They referred us to Dominion Eye Care. Easy to find. They are in one of the offices lined up behind the hospital. We were surprised not only to find the room filled when we walked in but still full when we left.
And not the same people. They took us in quick enough and they were so nice. What we thought was a problem, apparently, is not that big of a deal. At this point, there are no glasses or contacts needed. That's good news but we are to come back in a couple years to check her vision again.
