I have never really had a problem in the main hospital as far as my surgeries. During the time I had my surgery in the main hospital my nurses, anesthesiologist, and everyone that I encountered 5-10-22 was absolutely wonderful and made everything go smoothly. I can't thank everyone enough.

I was just here on Tuesday for a major surgery I had to stay overnight and I was moved over to the South wing and the hospital I had a registered nurse named Jill who was very rude barely checked in on me to make sure I was okay my heart pressure machine kept going off my heart rate was extremely low and she did not care at all there are numerous times I had to hit the button to let them know I had to use the bathroom and it took her forever to come to the room and sometimes she never even came my insulin bag was empty and not dripping.

She would only come into the room and act like she was checking in on me and doing her job went only the med student that was in the room with me due to my surgery was only checking on me then she made it look like she was doing her job other than that she was in the hallway the whole time on the computer and on her iPhone. Poor staff

I have no words to describe how our experience was. if your looking for compassion and answers this is not the place to you. Nursing staff indescribably awful. doctors cold and heartless. No one cleaned my child's room the whole 7 days we where there. and NEVER LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES ALONE. My 17 year old was left bed side soiled for an hour exposed with the door open. the response I was given we have other patients. If I could give this dumpster a zero I would. I reported them toy insurance company and the HR department still no response

Our mother came in with a broken femur, surgery scheduled for 11:30am, passed away at 9:30am. When my sister and I went to visit mom prior to her surgery, no staff was nearby. Alarms were going off, it took about (5) minutes to locate anyone. I asked a nurse to help, she said that my mom wasn't her patient, but she would check where someone was that could help.

Mom was incoherent, talking that made no sense. We noticed the day before, mom was in traction and bleeding very badly. We seriously think that mom bled to death, and the staff was negligent. we did not have an autopsy because it wasn't going to bring her back. Didn't pursue an attorney, didn't want to make any money off moms death. I have ZERO confidence in this facility at all, and if anything ever happens to me, I will never come to Hershey.

We have been in the ER since about 1:30-1:45. It is now after 9:00 pm. No one has had anything to drink or eat. The ortho docs said the would be back in an hour. That was about 2.5 to 3 hours ago. They have done numerous tests and told us nothing. There is absolutely no reason to wait all this time, but you are afraid to leave.

We live in DuBois, PA, and I work at the hospital there, we drove 3 hrs to get here and I have been staying in a hotel just so my husband could get the best possible care for a major surgery. I would have traveled to the other side of the planet to have DrJeganathan do his surgery. The care he has received has been fantastic and the entire staff here is top notch. This whole town has been very welcoming and friendly. Any medical care we need in the future we will be making the 3 hr drive to come here.

We had an excellent expedience at Penn State Health. My husbanda was out running and had a cardiac arrest and was saved with CPR and AED. He was rushed to Hershey Med and was taken directly to the cath lab. He had 2 stents put in and was home in 5.5 days. The doctors, nurses and staff are all amazing. My son was there everyday to be his advocate. He worked with this amazing staff to get him home! Thank you all for such great care.

Exceptional staff. This is where it matters! I would trust no other hospitals with my life. Thank you for taking wonderful care of my mother, father and myself. You saved my fathers life twice now due to the expert level doctors you have. Bravo

Worse experience with these nurses. They don't know what they're doing and don't care about the patients at all. My father who recently got a kidney transplant needed some blood drawn, it took nurses 2 hours to attend my dad. He needs to take meds at a certain time and he had to take his late because nurses felt that someone who just walked in them was more important to attend than my dad who's been waiting an hour.

Came into the emergency room with my 11yr old son who was having seizures in their waiting room. They let us sit there for over 2 hrs and counting. I asked twice if someone could.please see him they are getting worse. I was told that all pediactric beds are full and we have to wait. God help everyone if he doesn't get medical attention soon and something happens. This hospital was highly recommended, I may think twice now!
