Bayonne Medical Center

The cosmetic surgeon at Bayonne Hospital requested $3,000 upfront before stitching up my 4 year old nephew's huge gash on his forehead. Disgusting behavior from a hospital who sees dollar signs instead of people in need.

I am a Minister out of town came to pray for someone and they told me I had to wait until visiting hours and being a minister doesn't give you a go unless they were dying Praying from a distance

I had an amazing experience in this hospital with very caring doctors and nurses specially Nicole Marquez was very patient and caring we need more nurses like her!

My mother was in same day surgery she was treated like S.this morning doctor call her you have to come in for CT scan there may be problem that we did in surgery and they did even do any scans after surgery she was sand home

As a surgeon I think this is a great hospital. My patients are very happy with the facilities and nursing care. The operating rooms have been completely renovated with new microscopes and robotic equipment. The pre and post op care is among the best in my experience at several hospitals. I've not had a single patient complaint about any surgery I've done there. The hospital is extremely well appointed throughout and impeccably clean. The administration has been overly accommodating to surgeons and patient's needs.

The nurse was very rude (she worked the 11 am shift in ER) I am understand we are living difficult times, and hospital are overwhelmed. I did not mind the wait, even if I pass out. The yelling was not necessary The personnel needs training on customer service. I left and went to Englewood Hospital. The attention and the care was 5 stars. The staff made feel they care about me. In Bayonne the staff make you feel like trash. I know why everyone talks bad about this hospital.

Father went in covid negative to get a knee replacement, came out with covid and cellulitis. Wasn't informed well about post surgery procedures and exercises. They didn't give him any exercise in the hospital for three days, and didn't send anyone to the house to check on him for a week. His knee is healing slower than it ever should and this is all due to the lack of information and care from this hospital. If at all possible my family will never go again.

Came to the ER with severe lower back pain, and ended up waiting for over 3 hours. The sitting itself made it worse, I did receive some good pain meds but as soon as I got home the pain became even worse. Hopefully I get better soon, and don't get a big bill as I heard things about this place.

Horrible. Came in with a family member for a simple one day procedure at 8am for a 10am appointment, they kept them waiting for 5HRS! Didn't get seen and was stuck in a waiting room all that time and given excuses. Then was told procedure would be 10min - was a simple thing - and 3hrs later we're still here. They're not that attentive. On top of that while in the waiting room saw a huge roach traveling behind the seats. Go to a different place if you can.
