Prior to my shoulder surgery for both torn rotator and torn bicep tendons, I was unable to perform most household chores and daily work duties. I was having trouble sleeping. My pain was constant. Dr. Bowers performed surgery to repair the damage to my right shoulder at the end of January 2022. After several weeks of PT, my range of motion is next to normal.

My strength is coming back as well. I am sleeping comfortably and I am able to perform most activities at home and at work. I am very happy that I chose Dr. Bowers as my surgeon.

Dr Schwartz helped me with rehab my ankle after an injury. Staff is friendly and timely. Highly recommended.

Being a medical doctor myself, I may be more skeptical about the skill set of another professional than many others. Marc Schwartz M.D. is a great professional. He quickly developed rapport with me. From day one it was obvious that he knew what he was doing. Today, my knee injury and pain is remarkably better. From office staff to the nurse practitioners, I sensed enthusiasm and positive energy. Recently had my second knee replacement dr. Nguyen did the surgery and my other knee. I feel he is the best orthopedic surgeon in south jersey. The staff is also fantastic. If you are looking for a surgeon I would recommend them over all the rest.

Saw Dr. Bowers, within a month I had surgery to repair AC joint arthritis and SLAP tears on my labrum. Now I was somewhat of an anomoly, but 6 weeks later I was already back to normal activity including weight ligting and sports (within reason). All I did was follow the directions to the letter. I cant recommend her more for her professionalism and her work speaks for itself. I have a large tattoo on the operated shoulder and she cut through it in 4 places and there is zero damage to it. Amazing!

After seeing another Orthopedic Dr. that did absolutely nothing for me, my PP gave me the name of Dr. Andrea Bowers. Let me tell you she was absolutely wonderful. I came in to see her because I was having terrible back, leg and groin pain (which the other orthopedic Dr did nothing to help) she took the time to discover what was going on with me. She talked with me and showed me exactly where my pain was coming from.

She was very professional and very personable. We sat and discussed different options that will help me and she gave me a prescription to help me on my way to wellness. This morning was the first time in a little over a month that I was able to get up out of bed with very little pain. Dr. Andrea Bowers is a wonderful Dr. and I thank her for putting a smile back on my face.

Last year, my 96 year old mother tripped and broke her left wrist and hip. Dr. Schwartz performed the surgery. After rehab, she had a follow up at his office and complained of knee pain. She was told a surgical screw had loosened, but the pain would lessen. Unfortunately, it didn't and she developed hip pain. Again she visited his office and was told everything appeared to be fine, and was 'dismissed' according to both she and her accompanying friend. Sadly, her pain became severe and I personally brought her to the office where a physician's assistant said she had bursitis and gave her a cortisone shot.

We were hopeful. But her condition deteriorated and I brought her to New York for a second opinion. The orthopedic surgeon said a partial hip replacement was needed or she would remain in excruciating pain due to complications from the earlier surgery. She had the surgery and is now walking again without pain. Thank God! But no thanks to Burlington Orthopedic. We are very dissatisfied.

Dr. Nguyen performed a partial knee replacement on my right knee almost 6 weeks ago. So far so good. The results have met my expectations to date and while i am still going to PT, the improvement has been significant and I'm looking forward to a full recovery and being able to do things I haven't been able to in years. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Nguyen. He is genuine, engaged and knowledgeable. He listens and answers my every question.

Dr. Bowers is an extremely compassionate person and took the time to make sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond with the way she cared for me. I would not be able to do the things I can do now if it hadn't been for her. THANK YOU Dr. Bowers!

I highly recommend this group of Doctors if you need an Orthopedist. I have been to them three times and so has my Husband and Son. Dr. Bower and Dr. Schwartz are competent and very personable.

I suffered a proximal fracture of my right humerus in December. Sadly I went to Rothman for treatment. As a 65 year old very active woman, my doctor there blew me off as soon as surgery was ruled out. My pain level was unbelievable but that too was ignored. When I went to rehab, the pain became unbearable and I was making absolutely no progress My Physical therapist pulled me aside and told me to find a better doctor.

They all recommended Dr. Bower. From the moment she walked in the exam room, I knew I made the right decision! She listened to me and took my pain seriously. She immediately sent me for an MRI which showed the fracture had never fully healed hence the pain! Every appt I had with her, she listened carefully, answered all my questions and never rushed me.

She recommended a conservative treatment, the daily use of a bone stimulator. My shoulder is now pain free and healed! After the age of 60 many Doctors just stop listening to you. Dr. Bower told me the pain was sending a clear message. My other Doctor made me feel like a drug seeking crazy woman. I am so grateful to Dr. Bower! She is the best!

Dr. Schwartz was horrible. My child was referred to see Schwartz for a fall. My child did physical therapy with no improvement after two months He told us of my child would loose weight he would heal. My child is not the first big person to sprain their ankle. Big people get hurt all the time and we can heal even if we are big. I took my child to another orthopedic practice and they had a totally different approach to therapy and thank goodness my child is doing 100% better. Never going here again.

Dr. Schwartz and his staff at Burlington County Orthopaedic Specialists are caring, comforting, attentive and professional. He has been treating me and my family since 2004. However, this past January, 2021 I broke my leg and I knew there was no one other than Dr. Schwartz that I wanted handling my surgery. He's recognized as a "Top Doc" and there's a reason why, cause he's the best at what he does.

The day I had my consultation, Dr. Schwartz's team swung into action scheduling my surgery and any other pre-surgical appointments needed. Thank you Kerri! Kathy was on top of helping me with my online disability paperwork. Thank you Kathy! Julie was always there at the end of my appointments making sure that I had all of the paperwork needed and follow up appointments necessary.

Thank you Julie! Having gone through such a traumatic ordeal, having Dr. Schwartz and his staff/team on my side took the stress out of my recovery and I can't thank them enough. I am truly appreciative and forever grateful! Thank you Dr. Schwartz! YOU ARE THE BEST!

Dr. Bowers is great. At every step of my treatment, I felt informed about everything that was going on. She explained clearly what was wrong with my shoulder and what the options were. When it became necessary for surgery she explained everything. I never felt confused or anxious that I didn't know what was happening both before and after the procedure.

Dr Schwartz and staff are the best. Dr Schwartz took excellent care of my mom. She had great results after her carpal tunnel surgery. She still tells everyone that it was the first time she experienced no pain when getting a cortisone shot in her knee. The best in South Jersey!
