Dr. Said A. Samra graduated with his medical degree in 1973 from Damascus University Medical School in Damascus, Syria. He then completed his internship at American University Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Samra went on to complete a second internship at Perth Amboy General Hospital in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure performed to remove excess skin and/or fat from the eyelids. This procedure creates a more refreshed and youthful appearance and is an important component to improving the appearance of the eyes and face. It can be combined with other cosmetic procedures of the face, depending on a patient's particular needs and their consultation with one of our surgeons. The primary benefit of this procedure is a more youthful and refreshed appearance of the eyes.
A facelift is an outpatient surgery performed to rejuvenate the face. Facelift surgery is very popular, and one of the most sought after forms of cosmetic surgery in the world. Provided that they're in good health, women and men in their fifties and beyond can be a good candidate for a facelift. Certain medical conditions, like diabetes, heart disease, or lung disease can make you a poor candidate for elective invasive surgery.
Genioplasty is a surgical procedure performed to improve the shape and projection of the chin. This can be done with either the placement of a chin implant, or with repositioning of the bone of the chin. This can allow for an improved cosmesis of the jaw and face with improved overall facial aesthetics and harmony.

This is especially true for the skin and tissue in and around the neck. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone in the group is extremely nice and welcoming. They really take the time to get to know you and take care of you the best they can. Dr. Asaad Samra did an great job and has checked in to make sure everything is going well. I would recommend him to anyone that needs plastic surgery.

My experience with Dr. Samra has been amazing. He always treats patients with respect and the front desk/ rest of his staff are all extremely nice and helpful. Dr. Samra is an extremely skilled doctor who has provided me with beautiful results. I have come to him for two separate types of procedures and I have been extremely happy with the outcome of both. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. "A". I had to have mohs surgery on three spots on my nose at my dermatologist. Given the severity of the wounds, I went to Dr. A to repair them since they were literally gaping holes. During our consultation, I appreciated that Dr. A gave me the best and worst case scenarios for what type of repair surgery may be needed.
After he saw the wounds, he gave his suggestion of what he felt the best repair solution was, which was skin grafting, but not before making sure I was comfortable with it and that all my questions were answered. He is extremely attentive, knowledgeable, talented and honest. I am now 2 months out from my repair surgery and the results are incredible and better than I could have expected. To go from having huge gaping holes in your nose with exposed cartilage from skin cancer, to minimal scarring is something only Dr. A can do! Amazing.

Dr Samra, or Dr. "A" as I have come to know him, is a Dr. reminiscent of the "old school" type of Dr.- He takes the time to know you and listens to your questions patiently. He makes suggestions based on what's best for you. I have never written a Yelp review before, or any other kind of review, but I felt like I should take some time myself to acknowledge Dr. A, and the wonderful work he does.
I am a nervous sort of person, and had used a plastic surgeon in Shrewsbury and was content. My friend recommended Dr. A based on some "filler" work she had done in her lips- (they looked awesome!) I have a scar in my lip from a dog bite i got when I was very young, and decided to try Dr. A and see if he could make it less visible. He did a wonderful job and made me very comfortable in the process.
I have used him for several other procedures, including botox in my neck area for chronic pain(muscle spasms) and haven't had pain in years! I tried the Ultherapy and was very pleased. I have referred many people to him over the years from full plastic surgery to basic Botox and filler procedures and everyone would say the same thing- He is wonderfully patient, and does beautiful work.
Most of all, I brought my children to him when they needed emergency work(thank you high school sports) and the results were magnificent, like nothing ever happened! He also removed some cysts from my husband and we were amazed at how flawless the results were! So, I would say to anyone who was looking for a plastic surgeon for any procedure, from Basic Botox and fillers, to the most intricate of plastic surgery, if you want a Dr. who listens, cares, does phenomenal work, and does not act like a "Prima Donna", Then Dr. "A" Samra, is your type of Doctor.
