A note about medically-related emails: In this era of increasingly electronic communication, we still feel that an email is no substitute for face-to-face, personal interaction between a physician and patient. Therefore, we do not answer questions regarding specific medical conditions or treatments by email correspondence. Thank you for understanding.
Please download and print out all forms for new patients or if you are patient that has not visited us in over a period of three years. After filling out each form, please bring them with you on your first appointment in order to streamline your new patient intake. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!

A good experience all around. Got in quickly when I asked for an appointment. I had just a little trouble finding their office. I got into the little back room quickly. The Dr. was considerate, thoughtful & courteous. I was out of their office in half an hour as they indicated to me before the visit. I had trouble filling out the forms on line. I couldn't find the Send button to hit but I guess they got all the information they needed about me. The forms I had to fill out when I got there were long but necessary for them, I guess. ~Cynthia~

My first appointment here was last week with Dr. Pearson. I left in tears from his lack of bedside manner and, in my opinion, lack of any compassion or empathy towards his patient, me. Just for the record, I worked in the medical field for 16 years, with licenses in both the medical and administrative sides and had a medical practice consulting business.
I was referred by my PCP for several rashes, (bruising and capillaries leaking), and muscle inflammation that my PCP said could be Autoimmune related and needed a biopsy. Dr. Pearson offered no explanation other than anything could be causing these reactions and that I needed to be seen at UNC or Duke. No referral or assistance of any kind were offered.
It was abundantly clear that he was only interested in getting me out of his room and moving on to the next patient. A staff member told me that he was "fast" but I didn't expect him to be so condescending with a blatant disrespect towards people or rather towards me because I can't speak for how he treats other patients but I suspect it's pretty close to the same.
In my opinion, he doesn't have the right personality or temperament to be on the front lines treating patients. I really could go on about my appointment disappointments; however, suffice it to say that I will never see him again!

Not at all happy with this place. Before the location change they were fine. Now the reception portion of the office is disappointing to say the least. My experience with the doctor was fine, however just getting people to do their job is a task. I was prescribed a medication that was significantly expensive and it required prior authorization from the doctor in order for my insurance to pay for it.
I left a message with the office to find out if the authorization was approved and they never called me back. When I called them the next day, the lady I spoke to on the phone was exceptionally rude and I still haven't received word on that authorization. The receptionist stated it would be no more than twenty-four hours, it's been a week and half.
They cancelled a previous appointment and rescheduled it without my consent and had me show up to the appointment just to be turned away. If I had another option, I would take advantage. It's not worth the unprofessional treatment.
