If it aloud me to put 0 stars I definitely would have. This was absolutely the worst experience of my life and it literally lasted all of 5 minutes. My normal doctor stopped delivering babies so I decided to make an appointment here and had to wait almost 2 months just to be treated like a dog literally. The lady at the front desk was the nastiest person I've ever met and I would 100% not ever recommend this place to anymore!

The midwives are compassionate and attentive to your needs and concerns. I felt cared for and that I was advocated for. Carrie, Leah, Kathy and Betsy are all amazing! Four stars because there was a receptionist who tried to tell me I wasn't a patient there after attending the practice for 20 weeks of my pregnancy. She was short and insisted I called the Lexington location because I wasn't a patient with them.except I was

Started going here about 7 years ago. Started seeing Dr. Meslar-Little. She was great. She remembered me from previous appointments, which is a really nice feeling as a patient. Then she retired. After she retired I never saw the same person twice in a row. No one even seemed to bother to read over my file to brief themselves as to who I was or my patient history.
I have waited in the waiting room for over an hour after my scheduled appointment on several occasions. At one appointment I even asked the front desk staff if they were aware I was there for my appointment because I had been waiting so long. It's so bad that I have had to schedule appointments several hours before doing anything else in my day to allow time for waiting on being called back.
My last appointment I had there I was pretty upset about how it went. They scheduled me for one of the last appointments for the day. I was brought back to the room and left to wait for almost 30 minutes before someone came in. During which I could hear all the staff leaving. Knowing how they let patients sit around to wait forever, hearing all the staff leave is pretty unnerving.
When someone finally did show up to assist me, I didn't feel like this person cared about me as a patient or my needs. They seemed pretty blase about my appointment. And it was immensely obvious that they never took the time to look over my file. If they had, they wouldn't have asked me some of the questions they did. I feel like the appointment accomplished nothing and was a complete waste of my time. My concerns that sparked me making the appointment are still very much present. I'm taking my healthcare matters elsewhere. I've had enough.

I tried to make my first prenatal appointment and both times I called I was argued with regarding my past experience with having a miscarriage. They also would not see me before 8 weeks, not even if I wanted to be seen for a regular check up since I haven't had a check up in a year and a half after the birth of my son and I've had some complications. Okay, fine.
They're the only obgyn in a 30 minute radius so I made my 8 week appointment and waited. I got a letter this week, a letter not a call, stating they had rescheduled my appointment for 10 days out. They didn't bother to call and I'd already arranged family to watch my kiddos who live 5 hours away so that my husband could come. Of which I made the receptionist aware the LAST time I called them.
We called to reschedule it back but they said they couldn't due to staffing issues. Wow. In a manner of moments they made me feel like I was merely a number, someone they collect money from to keep their business open. In no way was I left feeling like a person with feelings or concerns. They may have good midwifes but their customer service and empathy are severely lacking. Would NOT recommend them.

I love Augusta Health Care for Women! I decided to have a midwife and that was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Cathy delivered my sweet Lylah and I had an amazing experience! All of the midwives I had appointments with made me feel so comfortable. They answered all of my questions and concerns and just all around took great care of me! They make it feel like they're your family! Highly recommend!
