I have been a patient at SSD for decades due to a rare skin disease I have. The entire staff has always been wonderful to me However Dr Shroff Mehta rocks! She is extremely knowledgeable and because my situation is somewhat outside the box she is always compassionate and has never made me feel uncomfortable When an emergency has presented itself she has face timed with me or squeezed me in for an office visit to get me diagnosed and put on proper meds ASAP Never once making me feel of an inconvenience Even though this has happened often.

She is always most pleasant and I feel as though I'm doing better than ever and am truly blessed to be in her care : Prefer to not out myself on a public forum but in case she sees this. Dariers was here

I am a 45-year old mother. Goodness, giving birth takes a toll on those frown lines! I got Botox at this practice and I've never felt or looked younger! 100% recommend to all, especially for Botox!

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Shroff-Mehta for several years. Her professionalism and compassion are outstanding. One never feels rushed and she is always very attentive to any concerns I may have. The nursing staff is also exemplary. From Leah, the head nurse, to Michelle, Brittany, Yves, and Katie. Dr. Herman and Monica assisted me during my visit. Their bedside manner is compassionate, calm, and cool. I cannot wait to see where his treatment plan takes me. I will periodically update this review, but first impression was 5 stars. The only possible "negative" feedback I have is that at checkout, I happened to stand at a desk waiting for Dr. Herman to write something down for me and there was a woman, possibly an assistant, sitting at the desk less than 2 feet away.

Instead of greeting me or acknowledging my presence (as I was merely 2 feet away from her (she's behind the desk and im standing in front of it, no partition or anything) and she turns her back to me sitting in a chair. It was clear that she had done it to avoid any interaction with me and I found it incredibly rude. I will say all other staff interactions were pleasant so I will not deduct a star :)

This was my first time seeing a dermatologist that was genuine and honest. I am grateful to Dr. Shroff-Mehta for her consultation, she prescribed me exactly what I needed to see results regarding my acne and hyperpigmentation. While also reducing the amount of products I need to use on a daily basis. I HIGHLY recommend South Shore Dermatology Physicians especially if you are looking to find a regiment that is effective and efficient. (P.S. The "Elta MD tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 46" sunscreen she prescribed is doing wonders for my skin, protecting and healing.)

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Viraj Shroff-Mehta for over a decade. She has been astoundingly effective as a dermatologist. She has treated many different ailments for my family; including my 95 year old mother. Not only do I find her and her partners to be thorough, they are extremely compassionate and nice. Dr. Shroff Mehta understands how an itchy rash can be life altering.

You lose sleep, become agitated not to mention self-conscious. I came back from a cruise several years ago with a rash that seemed unique in its own way. After much research and evaluating, she decided to try light therapy. I had to go daily for months for the treatment. The staff understood how invasive treatments were for me to come to and they made sure it became quick and effortless.

I never had to wait for the treatment. I also have some acne issues which were embarrassing at my age. Dr. Shroff-Mehta reviewed all options, made sure I understood the probability of improvement and literally walked me through each detail of the procedures. I am happy to say, my skin is vastly improved. Not only does she and her office staff have technical expertise, they are encouraging and simply caring.

I had seen a dermatologist from Boston prior to meeting Dr. Shroff-Mehta and hands down, my experiences here have surpassed any I had previously. My daughters have been to her during their teen years and my elderly mother saw her as well. She spends appropriate time with you when determining the problem and she gets to know who you are. I have even experienced personal telephone calls after a visit to see how I am doing.

I also applaud her commitment to educating younger pre-med students who are still attending school. I say Bravo to such an empathetic and experienced physician and her team. I would recommend them to anyone of any age without hesitation. Ann Breitner

I have been coming to SSD for years, and Dr. Chang is my doctor. She is an excellent diagnostician and has always been correct with her diagnoses for me. I have had numerous and various things appear, including 2 basal cell carcinomas, which she caught immediately. She is thorough, and excellent with her surgical skills. I recommend her to my friends as well.

The office staff is always kind to me and the wait times can vary because it is a very busy office. If the wait time gets long, I don't mind because I know I am going to get good care here.

Great experience from the check-in process to check out. Front desk is thorough with confirming information to the point where I have to show my insurance card every 6 weeks when I am in for appointments Dr. Chang's assistant Will is amazing and so personable to speak with. Lynn is also great but I only had the chance to meet her once so far : Dr. Chang well she is a notch above the rest. She is kind, compassionate, listens, explains things so you understand them, and tries to help you achieve the best outcome possible and she does it with a smile.

Dr. Amy Chang is an exceptional, extremely personable physician who always expresses sincere concern for her patients. She has always provided adequate time and addresses any questions or concerns that I have. In time of urgent need, she always does her best to fit you into her schedule. The nursing staff are wonderful! They are professional and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Chang to anyone that needs a Dermatologist.

My experience with seeing Dr. Amy Chang over the last several years, has been wonderful, and I'd recommend her enthusiastically. Dr. Chang is very attentive, professional and a great Dermatologist. Dr. Chang goes above and beyond in providing a personable care that is difficult to find. She takes the time to discuss various treatment options, discusses the pros and cons of each and genuinely values your input to collectively determine the best outcome.
