Walk-ins are welcome though we do limit the number of walk-ins we see on a daily basis. We highly recommend you call the office first to see if there are any slots available. If you do walk into the office without calling first, please be aware that there is no guarantee you will be seen the same day as it all depends on how many walk-ins have already walked in before you.
Do you take appointments and walk-ins? What do I need to bring for my visit? Please bring your current insurance card, picture ID, a list of any medications and drug allergies.

This was a terrible experience. I called them to set up an appointment in order to receive a recommendation for a psychiatrist and get an emotional support animal letter. I asked if it was necessary for me to see them first. They said that I needed to see them in order to go to a psychiatrist for this. They did not ask me any detailed questions to actually evaluate me. Then, They did not call me when they told me they would and I had to play phone tag with them the week afterwards.
After this, I finally got in touch with them and the Doctor or nurse referred me to one Psychologist (not a psychiatrist) who did not even write ESA letters. What a complete waste of time. The woman made me spend a little over $100 and waste my time only for her to give me the contact information for someone who doesn't even write ESA letters. No refunds were available to me either. Going to this doctor's office felt more like a scam than anything.
This is also the only review I have ever left somewhere, so it takes a lot for me to say something. I feel completely taken advantage of and played by my own doctor's office. I am very disappointed and angry. I would never go here again and I would never recommend anyone else to either.

I've been coming to this practice for decades - since it first opened at the first location. Today I go in because I'm actually sick and I'm told that last year, after being made to wait almost 3 hours only to be told to go to the emergency room, i was charged an additional $14.00 dollars for an unnecessary pregnancy test. Never mind the fact that I was charged my co-pay and my insurance also sent them payment.
Let me re-iterate: I was seen for a total of 2 minutes where I was told to go to the emergency room so what exactly did they collect $100 for? Today I came in for what appears to be the same reason and I was told I had to pay 64.00 additional dollars because it was an old balance. I feel so terrible that I paid for it anyway but I am extremely disappointed at their money-grabbing ways AND this BS 50.00 charge for it being an "old balance". After today, this is the last time I come here. And I'm only here out of desperation and to not have to go to the ER.

I have been going to Physicians Pointe for 10 years. I have watched this place go down hill for the past few years. I arrived at the office at 12:00. I called the office to let them know I was waiting in the parking lot because it is required. They told me that no one was in front of me and I would be seen quickly. I sat directly in front of the office for 45 min and did not see one person go in or come out of the building.
I called back after waiting 50 min in my vehicle only to hear that they were sorry and they were rotating lunch breaks. They lie about the wait time so you do not leave. They have no respect for anyone else's time. I know many other people who have waited up to two hours here. Under staffed and heading in the wrong direction.

The staff at Physicians Pointe is very courteous. They call you to follow-up or discuss your labs or just to let you know that your prescription was called in to your pharmacy. They fulfill their promise by getting in touch with Specialists. Dr. Ona sits down and listens to you then ask lots of questions. He always goes back five years on his tablet/notepad to compare. Very patient, pleasant and mannerly doctor.

I love this office, the staff is wonderful! I've been seen at this office many times, and the care that was given was above & beyond! They take time with there patients, and will refer to other Specialists if they see fit. I have can't say enough, there PA's are life savers, I could go on &on. This is my family doctor, and I'll never change. There whole staff is like family, , you couldn't ask for any better.

Terrible service from Dr. Ona. I was initally recommended by a family member but will not be going back. Takes 2 to 3 days for return phone call even for more urgent matters. (Pregnant and dealing with high blood pressure and needed to switch medication to something better for baby). Or they call back at 6pm just when they're leaving for the day. Just for a prescription refill they want you come come in for office visit to make money. TERRBLE SERVICE!

I have never had a issue with this place. I have been with Dr. Ona for almost 15 years and he's the only doctor I have actual conversation with instead of just small talk. I had a walk in due to a severe sprang ankle. So I was assigned Dr. Sarah. A sprang so painful she said herself that it would have been better if I broke something instead since it will take forever to heal.
She gave me a doctors note for my job where I am a detailed which requires a lot of physical work for long periods of time. Right before leaving the office I noticed the lack of detail in the note and had my girlfriend who was accompanying me to go back inside and ask for clearer detail and they told her that the note was correct and that I could bend for my job just not put pressure on ankle.
After the first attempt I went inside myself to talk to explain how cleaning cars requires bending over for vacuuming and cleaning wheels and tires. Dr. Sarah's argument was that I can bend over and that when I am kneeling to clean tires and wheels that I am putting pressure on my knees and not my ankle. My question to her is how am I expected to get back up from that position from kneeling?
Keep in mind this whole time she wouldn't talk to me directly even though I requested her to speak to me directly and used a middle man to argue for her. My injury's cure is to lay off my leg for 3 weeks but Dr. Sarah at the same time is arguing that I can bend over for my job. When bending over the most weight is exerted on your feet and ankles for balance.
She never spoke to me or my girlfriend directly telling us why she won't write another note for us. The middle lady arguing for her and Dr. Sarah need to work on their customer service and understanding. I don't ever expect a doctor to ever know what it is like to detail a car during a 7 hour shift in the sun or to relate how much force is exerted on your ankles and feet while cleaning.
But I do expect a doctor to care for their patient's well being and help them when in need and for the least to be understanding. There is a difference between relating and understanding.

This is THE BEST doctor's office I have been to. I have never waited more than 30 minutes to be seen, but I always make an appointment. Still, we all know even with appointments it sometimes takes forever. The staff is very friendly, genuinely care and want to help. They are never rude or try to rush you out. They always answer any question you have with detail. They do not beat around the bush, they tell you what they know. I will continue to go to this office for as long as I can!
