The advanced technology of our Siemens Sensation 16 whole body scanner allows for faster scan times thereby reducing the time a patient must lay on the scanning table. Open MRI scanners have been developed for people who are anxious or obese or for examination of small parts of the body, such as the extremities (knee, shoulder). Historically limited to using X-rays for diagnostic purposes, radiology has expanded to using a variety technologies for diagnosis, treatment and guidance of other medical techniques.

Received a reminder phone call the day before with instructions to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. The person calling provided directions, allowed me to ask a few questions about insurance and took the time to answer any other questions. On my appointment day everything was on schedule. The receptionist was very pleasant to me and the other patients, including callers.
The Radiologist was very kind and attentive - checking in with me regularly to ensure I was ok, keeping me advised of how much more time I had and what would happen next. I was provided with headphones and allowed to select the music I wanted. It's true the MRI is loud but I've yet to have an MRI that isn't loud. I've had about 5 MRIs in my life and this was by far the easiest, most relaxing procedure I've had. This is coming from someone who is a bit claustrophobic and dreads MRIs. Highly recommend!

I haven't even made it to my appointment and have decided not to utilize their services. Extremely unhelpful. The only information I needed was an allowed amount contracted with BCBS and was told I need to contact by insurance company for this information. The representative from my insurance company even tried contacting then to no avail. He also told me they are required to give me this information. Amazingly enough Vero Radiology was able to give me this information through the first person I spoke with, without making me leave messages on the "office managers" machine, AND offered me a payment plan if needed. They will not be receiving my business even if I end up getting a call back, but I'm highly doubting I will.
