I use the Solis location on Matlock in the MCA complex. Professional, friendly staff are a pleasure to work with. The facilities are clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Modern 3D imaging equipment and professional, caring techs make an uncomfortable procedure much more pleasant. They have convenient times and online scheduling and rescheduling is easy.
They send regular appointment reminders via text and a call the day before. Check in is quick and easy and wait time for the exam is minimal. Solis is my go-to provider for mammograms and bone density scans. I highly recommend them.

Getting a mammogram is one of the most nerve wracking events a woman goes through each year, and especially if she has a strong history of breast cancer in her immediate family. The staff are all polite and professional here. It's the wait time that kills me. They are ALWAYS behind as we all sit in a room with several other women in drapes that are immodest with the first wrong turn.
The lockers were out of service somehow at my last visit too. There is nothing personal or welcoming about the experience here except for the main waiting room before they make you wait in a state of undress with 6 other women. THAT is the area that should be the most comfortable and inviting. I'll be looking for somewhere else next year.

The medical staff is nice and makes your feel comfortable but they assumed that I would be okay with a male doctor seeing my chest and I felt awkward when I declined. My biggest issue with this place is their terms that you must agree to at check in. They make you acknowledge that you received the privacy statement when I didn't even get to see it.
The craziest part are the two sections, one consenting that they can keep and store video records, photos, and audio recordings of you; the second, they can keep, use, sell your "extra" biological material. These two sections were so creepy to read. If I knew that, I would have asked my doctor to send me somewhere else for imagining but I was put in a tight situation. I had already taken off from work and made the drive. Make your own decision before coming here but you've been warned.

The Solis on Matlock by MCA has the most friendliest staff you will ever encounter. From the warm greeting when you walk in to the professionalism throughout your appointment. If you want a wonderful experience with your mammogram, then I would suggest going to this location. I dread going to get my mammogram but the staff here makes it worthwhile.

This was my first mammogram and I was incredibly nervous. Becky eased all my fears and talked me through everything! She was amazing and there was really nothing to be worried about. The wait time was reasonable and the whole process was quick as well. I would never go anywhere else but Solis at this location.

Glad it's not the only place. The scheduling lady obviously gets paid to schedule more than what is needed. My sister had to get 5 different studies because they kept telling her everything was inconclusive. I called and they asked me if I had any pain (for a screening mammogram) and I said, well, normal, according to the time in the cycle, and the pain when I had vaccinations (from the swollen lymph nodes).
She said that then I needed the screening AND a diagnostic mammogram, and I would have to pay. I said I don't have any lumps or issues and my doctor just did an exam and I don't need a diagnostic one. She said "Well, this call is being recorded, and you said you have pain so they will do what they need to do". I did not like the tone and that a scheduling person, who is not a medical professional but, as she put it, just a scheduler, making medical history questions and using the recording as an excuse to do extra unnecessary exams just to charge more. No wonder this place has bad reviews. I already found another provider.

Tried to make an appt in Oct for Nov, told no openings until January. I chose MLK day because I am a teacher and that's a day off. 90 minutes before the appt, they call and try to change it to the next day. I explain that won't work. They fit me in to an after school appt and I get there and THEN they tell me they don't take my insurance anymore.
Now I am months overdue on my mammo. They should have figured all this out in Oct. I realize everyone's understaffed due to covid (I work at a school, I know all about staffing issues!) but this whole experience was awful. I have happily used Solis for years, but not anymore. Time to shop for a new mammo provider.

Normally, I highly recommend Solis and have used them for years. The facilities in Plano on Parker are top notch and the staff is wonderful. I would give them full stars and recommend you go there. Sadly, I was on a tight schedule so took the nearest appointment time which was at Medical City. Well, I didn't realize that since it is attached to Medical City Hospital that I would be paying for their radiologist. My normal cost was more than tripled as I had additional hospital costs. So, skip this spot and go to any other office.

Facility is great, front desk staff very professional, accommodating and friendly. Overall, I give the facility a thumbs up. My technician this past Saturday made me feel like she didn't want to perform my exam. And she hurt me quite a bit. You can't choose this type of job and then be uncomfortable with performing it. I don't know how she could have gotten good images because she acted like touching me was gross. I have never had that experience at this facility in prior years. I typically leave feeling like my health matters. I should have asked for a different mammographer.

If you are told to see a surgeon. Good luck getting the pathology report or anything else. You can't get a person to talk to on the phone. You call the number and don't get an option to talk to anyone. I called the number to schedule an appointment and the lady was rude. Not able to get information surgeon wants. The release you sign when you first go there means NOTHING!. It is blank so it is authorizing them to send NOTHING to anyone. Do I have to go somewhere else and have the needle biopsy repeated?

I went in for a diagnostic mammogram and a sonogram as this was requested from a new P.A. that I went to see due to having breast pain, sensitivity and aching. My Mother had breast cancer so it's important! The P.A reflected on my chart, there was a mass, breast pain, history etc. when I went into have the mammogram, the first she says is, what's going on here? I'm like, you've got the chart.
She proceeded to say, I need to know exactly because the radiologist will ask. She said, the doctors states there was a mass but you're saying no? I quickly, said, " This is not the place to be rude to anybody especially considering the anxiety of what could be." Then I went into get the sonogram and the the radiologist did the same thing! Just do the damn sonogram and quit making me feel uncomfortable.
Terrible experience and will not be back for a routine mammogram. I was already extremely stressed and they made me feel worse. Karma is not good. Awful awful experience. The doctor that came in was cold as well!

I am really surprised by all of the negative reviews for Solis. I have had several mammograms here and the experience has always been a good one, but today I felt compelled to write a review because not only was my experience good today, I was legitimately impressed. Right when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and got my registration taken care of.
Once I was done I was immediately taken back with zero waiting. My Tech's name was Cindy and ladies, Cindy is an ANGEL. She was so sweet and friendly and I dare I say it, made my mammogram fun if that is even a thing? She gave some great tips, shared stories, and made the whole thing so comfortable. I got my results after waiting 5 minutes and was on my way. Great experience and Cindy is the BEST!

Very poor customer service experience. Solis did not (not this location site) but Solis opted NOT to follow my doctor's orders and did something that was not expected and gave very poor excuse and reasonable diagnosis and poor reasons for not following doctor's orders. HOWEVER, at the 5920 West Parker site, I had a VERY good experience. Doctor came in and explained what was going with details of why and how- THIS is a great example of good customer service! Kudos to Ms Teresa and the doctor! THANK YOU.
No man wants to visit these type offices - but if it's necessary, I strongly encourage visiting this location. You do need to call them proactively because they are swamped and don't schedule very well. RE: Scheduling Ask for Ms Ethel - she is a 10 representative.

This is my third time coming here for my annual checkup. I scheduled my appointment for 6:00 am. I had no idea they opened this early for appointments. Definitely a plus. I was told I could check in at 5:45. On my appointment day, I arrived about 5:30 but I sat in my car until 5:45. I got out my car and went to the door and it was locked. I knocked a few times and no one came to the door.
Finally about 5:48, a woman came to the door and let me in. I would think she would have greeted me when she opened the door but all she did was unlock the door and walk away. I opened the door and walked in. Her back turned the entire time. When she got behind the counter, she never spoke but handed me paperwork to fill out. I was going to sit down and fill it out but she told me to stay at the front desk to fill it out.
Before sitting down I asked her for her name and she said Magaly. I sat in the lobby for about five minutes before being called back for my mammogram. I kept thinking to myself, she is in the wrong position. Maybe she was having a bad morning, but if you are working the front desk, you should at least greet everyone. Smh Becky, is the one that gave me my mammogram.
She has a great personality and she is the perfect person for this position. I hope I get her again if I decided to come back next year. My only disappointment is I never received my results. I was told I should have them by 3:00pm the same day. I will have to call back on Monday to have them sent to me. I might come back next year for my mammogram.

THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST NEGLIGENT CENTER I'VE EVER KNOWN. In 2017, my yearly mammogram was sent to Solis for interpretation. To start, the center could not find 20 years of past scans/films. Once the scans were located after many phone calls, I had the "all clear" from Doctor MINH NGUYEN. Fast forwarding to this August, my mammogram showed two growths.
One that was DETECTED in 2017 which I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT. Apparently, the good doctor believed I didn't need to know. The spot that was detected in 2017 had also grown by 3mm. My physician referred me to Sandra O'Neal Institute and I have since gone through a diagnostic mammogram and then a biopsy. At this point, I am hoping for the best outcome. I am sure this review will have a heartfelt apology follow up, though.

I will say, I was really hesitant visiting this location after seeing the negative reviews but I had a really positive experience today. I had a diagnostic mammogram & was very nervous about the procedure. The lady that checked me in was extremely sweet & friendly. Also, the techs and radiologist were all very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel at ease.
I will continue to go back to this location because it was one of the most positive mammogram experiences I have ever had. Thank you for making an uncomfortable situation comfortable & being so kind to me. A+++

Would give 0 if it was an option. This facility herds you around like cattle with very poor customer service. Front desk staff are rude, confrontational, incompetent and argumentative. I've used Solis for over 15 years and this is the worst medical experience I have ever had from a customer service and billing standpoint. I will never give money to this organization again, which is sad. Looks like Rene Oberle needs to step up and do an overhaul at this location, unless she is content with a 1.5 star rating. I wouldn't be happy with failing grades. Obviously something needs to change here, maybe it's her.

I waited 3 months for a response to my exam. After several phone calls asking about results the office person states they are waiting for my previous results from NY. They said they had the wrong FAX number for 2 month! I called my previous office up and they faxed same day. Then I recieved a letter to come back in for second screening. Once again, they provided no follow up to me or my doctor.

The tech was nice, but the people at the front desk weren't too friendly or organized. The first lady asked to take my ID and insurance card. Then, she put them in a folder. Later, I was called by a second lady who walked me to her desk and told me to pick up my cards. It was just a bizarre system to keep a patient's cards in a folder, hand them off to someone else, and leave them on a desk for the patient to pick up. I'm used to people scanning my cards right away and handing them back. Then, she tells me my total for the day and slides me my receipt.
I said "okay, " and she just sat there smiling at me. Then, I asked her, "am I supposed to pay now?" And she said yes. It was weird for me because I'm used to paying after seeing the doctor, but she just expected me to know how they do things at their office.

Scheduled a mammogram after I ran out of excuses to avoid this important test. A friend told me about Solis and I am so glad I went. There was a bit of a wait to get checked in, but everything went smoothly thereafter. Val took care of my test and was very respectful and gentle. She was knowledgeable and did not rush things. The actual test was probably 10 mins and I left with peace of mind. I recommend this location and will definitely go back from my annual test! Update: I received my results with 2 hours! This has certainly been a pleasant experience

I've been going to Solis mammography for 4 years (since 2016) and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Today I had 2 procedures (mammogram & bone density) and I was done in under an hour! Both Rose and Simone were amazing - kind, caring, and very professional. Plus they have a wonderful touch in the dressing room where you change in little cubicles. They had positive post-it notes everywhere on the mirror and walls! It inspired me to write a couple myself! Thank you Solis for making self-care so easy and pleasant.

I heard such great things about Solis so I scheduled my appointment for this last Saturday. I actually left injured. The tech, while openly pondering which of my breast was larger, tugged a little too hard and actually ripped the skin under my breast where it meets the body. I told her, I think you just ripped something and she responded with "sorry", performed the scan and confirmed my left breast was in fact a bit larger than the right while telling me her right breast is larger.
As soon as she finished the last scan she said "one moment, my daughter called and I need to call her back" as I stood there waiting to be released. It wasn't until I was back in the dressing room that I noticed the area I felt rip was bleeding. I'm currently waiting for the center supervisor to call me back.

My appointment was for 2:30 and I arrived at 2:15. Sat in the waiting room until 2:45 when I asked when I would go back. They said they didn't know since I had not been registered yet. Ummm, what? This is not my first time here and they had my insurance information when I made the appointment. There are 4 people working the desk so they seem to be staffed.
Now they are taking back patients that came in after me. I have been coming here for 10 years without issue. Not sure what's changed operationally to make them suddenly inefficient. It's now 3:05 and I am still waiting to be called back.

I was pretty nervous about my first mammo. All the staff at Solis is really nice and made me feel at ease. I showed up 15 minutes early, as instructed, to do a little paper work, but the online booking (which was super easy and convenient) took care of most of my information. My appt was at 11:15 and I was out of there by 11:45. They were having a busy day, but managed to handle everyone swiftly and carefully. They now how to make an awkward situation comfortable, and I truly appreciate that.

Waited over 1hr and 30 min. Asked the staff if the wait was going to be long, she said many technicians so not going to be much longer. I was the third person. When it was my near my turn, a technician came in calling a name that no one responded. I tried to confirm if it was my name. Told her I was needing to leave to pick up my son from school, she gave me a glaring look and told me to go then.
How rude! No explanation or apologies for running late. No concerns for people. I made an appointment for 2:30, came 10 minutes early like requested, waited over an hr and a half without anyone letting me know that it was going to be that long before the test could be done. When I inform them, I had to leave soon they did not even care. Why go here and support their unkind treatment?

I had my first mammogram today! I was nervous and scared and have been putting it off for 5 months (since my 40th birthday), BUT it is SO necessary and SO important. Take the time for YOU! I was in fantastic hands and have complete respect and trust in everyone who had a part in my care today. I had no discomfort and normal results, hooray! Please ladies, don't forget or put off your mammogram. I felt important and was walked through what to expect and what to do and was put at ease during the experience.

Awful. Over an hour wait time. Male doctor for my 15 year old as no female doctors in that day. Didn't offer the cd or paperwork to me in an already stressful situation. I call to obtain the cd and paperwork and asked why they didn't offer that to me? The lady said "well, did you ask for it?" Then, was told I didn't sign a hipaa form. Not.ooops it looks like we didn't give you one to sign.
Guess I should have asked for that form in my sea of forms. My fault again. (Sarcasm). She said I couldn't obtain the cd because I didn't sign the form. Had to speak to a supervisor at the main office. We will see if i get my paperwork. Won't be back here. You are in a very vulnerable state when going in for these tests and they didn't make it easy on us.

Scheduled for the wrong test. Took numerous calls to get through to a manager and over a week for the Radiologist to call to discuss the issue. Asked for my disc to be forwarded to Dr in Florida. After being told 2x it was sent and a request from the imaging center as well, it still wasnt received. Customer care were doing their best it seemed but if I did have a major issue their lack of proper response could have meant the difference between life and death. I would NOT recommend them.

A few months ago I felt lumps in my left breast and my primary physician recommended me to solis for a breast sonogram. I got my estimate--around $150 after insurance. Totally fine with me, my grandmother passed because she waited too long to get her lumps checked out. I'm broke but can shell out a bit of money to make sure I'm healthy. I go in, get the ultrasound.
I told the tech that I only had lumps in my left breast but she told me she wanted to check the right first to see what felt normal for me. She gave me the news that everything was fine and I went on with my life. This week I received a bill and I was charged twice for the sonogram. Upon closer inspection I notice I was charged individually PER BREAST.
I did not consent to this, and the total was double what I had been quoted. I called to ask about it and was told "it's not the service you requested but it's the service you received, " even though I had not consented to this and would have told her not to check my right breast had I known it would cost me an extra $200. I wish I would have known what a greedy place Solis Mammography is before I had gone or I would've gone elsewhere. I'm so tired of the greed within the US healthcare system and I'm sickened by the fact that they're trying to take advantage of a young woman just starting off on her own. My advice, go anywhere BUT Solis.

WOW! Is zero stars an option? My Ob-Gyn sent my initial order on 1/30, my appointment was 2/27. They called 2 days before to give me instructions (must have a VERY full bladder) and to tell me to bring my order. I informed her it was already sent over and she said "ok, I'm sure it's here, I'll pull it and attach it to your chart". I get there today with a VERYYYY full bladder, check in and am told they don't have the order and to call my doctor and have them re-fax it.
I wait another 10 minutes and am called up and told they still don't have the order. I call my doctor while sitting in front of Noelle and they said they have received a confirmation twice but will resend it again Noelle gives me their fax number verbally and their office sends it a third time, while I'm on the phone. Then? Noelle says "well I'll have to see if they can still do your exam because there bus someone after you". NOPE.
Absolutely not. So unprofessional with half-ass staff. Taking my pelvis somewhere else! And you should too. Added to include? I watched the lady check in front of me after receiving her "reminder email" and scheduling online. Only to have to reschedule bc she was 4 months early! She said "you sent me a reminder!?!?" And the lady said "well.you're actually not due yet so I don't know what happened, I'm sorry!". Seems to be the theme: they don't know (anything).

I was referred to Solis by a breast doctor because I found a lump in my right breast after doing a self check. The breast doctor found two lumps. One lump on my right breast and another near my armpit on my left breast. I was convinced that I had breast cancer and angry at myself for not being more diligent about conducting self breast checks. My breast doctor told me it didn't look clinically significant, which is just a fancy way of saying " there probably isn't a problem".
I remembered that I had been in a severe car crash a year prior that had almost killed me. I was severely hurt and had to take leave from work. The accident left huge contusions on my breasts due to the airbags and my boobs hitting the steering wheel. I googled breast lump and car crash and found " Fat Necrosis", which is dead tissue from trauma. Anyhow, Solis Mammography was a great facility and I loved the atmosphere ( even though I'm sure most women dread mammograms).
The nurses knew I was fairly young for a mammogram and treated me with so much kindness and consideration. The nurses kept me in the loop while they were examining me and they showed me the dense areas of my breasts. The Ultrasound Tech was able to see 2 lumps on my right breast. She told me immediately that I shouldn't worry because they were oil cysts or Fat Necrosis!
I diagnosed myself! After the mammogram and ultrasound the radiologist who is also referred to as the Doctor, confirmed that they were benign. That day everything seemed a lot brighter and I have Solis to thank for making me feel safe and very well taken care of by their wonderful staff. I'm not sure why they are not rated higher, but I had a fantastic experience and I would refer other women to this facility.

The Wife found a lump in her breast and we were able to see a doctor and they recommended us to Solis Mammography. We arrived late but the lady at the front desk lady said it was no big deal. She was super nice and was able to get the mammogram order from The Wife's doctor fairly quickly. We didn't know what to expect. I'd always heard the term "Boob squish" and that it was uncomfortable, but the description from my wife was more of a boob smash from the Hulk.
She said when the first image was getting set up, the tech just let the clamp close on her boob like a bear trap and she said several choice words and politely asked the tech to release the tension in the clamp slower for the following three images. I asked her if it was like getting punched in the boob and she said worse. For those of you guys who don't know, getting punched in the boob is similar to getting kicked in the nuts.
After the cursing, the next three images and boob smashes were not as shocking but the Wife still describes them as the most painful medical experience she's ever endured and, yes, she's had surgery. It sounds like there's something to be desired in the care that the techs take with their patients. However, her results were conclusively negative so we are thankful for that. It did require an ultrasound on one side to come to that conclusion.

Yes ladies, this place is for mammograms. This place has the utmost in customer service. They must drill it into the workers heads. Everyone you come in contact with is not rushed, has a smile, and treats you like a human (not a number). The wait time is not long (I had an appointment) the facilities are clean. They give good instructions on where to change clothes and where to go (you are never lost). When you leave they ask you to take a survey (that is how much they care). They worked well with my doctor on the results.
