Dr Michael Bryan was on call when I went to ER. He quickly diagnosed my issues and saved my life. I highly recommend him. Very kind and professional.

Elijah is apparently salty that Surgeon Cueto works relentlessly in the hospital conducting life saving operations and then done secondary and post op appointments at this office. She's not on Elijah time until you're facing death and need a life saving surgery- so deal with it buddy guy. Secondly- I had appendicitis and didn't wanna do anything honestly I would've left if Cueto didn't give me my blunt options in the ER.

Wonderful doctor. I apparently have an affinity to bleed though. I had a visible hematoma that she was able to stitch up in the er- but I also had some internal bleeding after the surgery. When I went to my post op I complained of some abdominal pains and instead of thinking I was just some narcotic thug gangster who rolls drugs on cracked out hairy man strippers trying to score some fancy tylenol- she believed me and ordered a CT scan for me at heb hospital.

Which showed I had some bleeding- she immediately reviewed the CT like less than an hour after I got it done- and notified me immediately to come to the er- she did it so quickly that she didn't block her number when she called my cell- but don't worry I'm married. She arranged a drain be placed in my abdomen and was even nice enough to prescribe 1 dose of anxiety medicine (which i didn't take, because it made me anxious) because I was absolutely terrified of getting it done. Drain out 4 weeks ish in and im feeling way better than I did.

What else is there more to say. Cueto is professional, endearing and honestly if I had to have another surgery I hope and pray- it's her or someone very similar on the other end of the scalpel slicin' me up. Saved my life. If you ever have the time to read this Cueto- I hope you have a wonderful day! P.S. I'm getting my PL so when I'm flying at DFW if you ever need me to wait a little bit I can DrCueto.

Avoid Dr. Cueto AT ALL COSTS! Not only does she give unrealistic recovery time you should expect, but she has ZERO respect for your time. Out of 7 total appointments, I wasted 5 hours and 45 minutes just waiting on her. Most of the time she isn't even at the office at the time her appointments are scheduled to start. I travel for work, and the planes at DFW don't wait on late doctors with a god complex that don't value their patients time.

Dr. M. Joseph Elieson is the best. He is kind, compassionate and a great listener. He always takes time to answer all of your questions and never rushes you. He is the best surgeon I have ever had and I unfortunately have had many. He has done two procedures on me, a Lap Chole and the LINX procedure. He and his staff are a class act. I will be returning to him in the future for any neccessary procedures and he is tops on my referral list.

Dr. Elieson is very personable and easy to talk to about your needs. His bedside manner is beyond excellent. A rarity in his field. He has done 6 surgeries on me and every time I have felt very well informed and confidentin his abilities. He takes great time to tell you how things go and answers your questions. Literally can't say enough good things about this surgeon!

Always a pleasure to see. I feel very comfortable discussing my medical needs with him and he is very knowledgeable in his field. Their staff knows me and greets me by name and is always a pleasure to see. This is a well rounded office staff and medical team.

Dr. Cueto is an amazing physician. She saved my moms life and I'm forever grateful to her. She is incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure my mother was completely healed. My moms surgery was difficult due to certain circumstances and Dr. Cueto overcame them with ease. I would recommend her to any of my family and friends if they were in need. I wish all physicians would love and take care of their patients the way that she did my mother.

At the end of March I had emergency surgery. I was fortunate and blessed that Dr. Cueto was on call that day! It was a very difficult surgery. Dr. Cueto was amazing and the surgery was successful. From our first meeting in the E.R. to months of post OP visits I could not have asked for a better doctor. Her bedside manner was comforting to both myself and my concerned daughters. I would highly recommend Dr. Cueto.

In January 2019, I was diagnosed with Diverticulitis, a perforated colon, and abscess in the small intestine. Fortunately for me, Dr Cristina V Cueto was on duty that day. She performed emergency surgery, skillfully removed the damaged section of colon, removed the abscess, and performed a temporary colostomy. In April, Dr Cueto performed a second surgery on me, to reverse the colostomy.

That surgery too was completely successful. During a total of 26 days of hospitalization, Dr Cueto visited me daily (except for about three visits by one of her fellow physicians), even on weekends. Although she keeps a busy schedule, she never seemed to be rushed and always took as much time as needed to answer my questions and make sure that I was improving.

She is a talented surgeon, truly invests herself in caring for her patients and is very personable. Although I never want to go through another set of surgeries like this, if I do, I'll be calling Dr Cueto.

Avoid Dr Cueto. If she is anything like she was when she saw my husband in the ER then she needs some more education and a whole lot of bedside manner. I'm a nurse so I am not stupid. My husbands a paramedic (both over 25 years each). He was confused and combative at his pcp office. Abdominal pain x10 days that had progressed to severe pain. He also is a baseball sized brain tumor.

We had a CT scan that was read by a Scott White radiologist and results came back with probable diverticulitis with bowel perforation and abscess as well as much evidence of infection around an old lap band. His abdomen was HUGE. Very distended. His wbc was 25,000. He is on no chemo and has a great immune system. Her response was she wanted a new ct scan.

He had a history of kidney issues due to too much contrast during a different hospital stay so contrast is to be used sparingly. He just had contrast ct 3 hrs earlier so husband refused. We asked that she look at the scan just done. She came back and said radiology wouldn't "read and report" in a scan they didn't do (remember a different Scott white read it 3 hrs earlier) she said she personally looked at it and saw NOTHING. NO ABSCESS NO INFECTION. NO PUS. his band had no infection.

Yet wbc was 25,000!. But may need to be removed "later" but she said quote " I'm sure not doing any surgery on you". At this point I agreed. She wouldn't be touching my husband. I spoke with our doctor who said we needed to ask for a second opinion that the too radiologist and doctors had markedly different points of view. Dr Cueto stayed he had simple gastritis and agreed to admit overnight.

Less than 24 hours he was septic. Infectious disease doctor was super concerned and at this point I requested dr Matin be consulted. I agreed to a new ctscan if he was premeditated. (I am POA to husband). At 7am I get a call on Sunday morning that the doctors going to take him to surgery now and to hurry. His lap band had become so infected that he was going into septic shock. WBC now 35,000 fever etc. his band had eroded his stomach and Ended up inside his stomach instead if outside.

He had massive amounts of pus flowing and peritonitis. ALL COMPLETELY MISSED BY DR CUETO. How do you miss that when you're a surgeon? Did she even bother to really look? He could have easily died if I'd not been more educated and been a general patients wife with no medical background. Thank you to the hospitalists and Dr Matin and the rest of the staff at SW BAYLOR GRAPEVINE and the sweet ER DOCTOR who was also perturbed as well. He ended up have massive infection. Septic shock was rose to 35,000. Lap band and port infection. Spent 6 hours in surgery 2 days later and is not out the woods yet.

I'm one of those difficult patients. I have no patience, my pain tolerance non-existent, I'm a hypochondriac, - and over all I am extremely high strung and I guarantee the nurses were happy to see me go after surgery! I had been having issues with my gall bladder for over a year - my Gastro doctor (Dr. Yepuri, hes awesome) worked with Dr. Christina Cueto to get me taken care of quickly.

My scars are minimal, my pain was well controlled, and essentially I am happy with my experience. Hopefully not but if I ever need another surgery I will definitely be back to visit! What had been a damn nightmare has finally been resolved. I would recommend Dr. Cueto to anyone.

They billed me for a provider that I didn't even see. This was 8 months after my visit to the office, which I was not impressed. After many, many calls with my insurance company and the practice manager, it was finally resolved 4 months later.
