Stay away if you can! First, let me be honest and differentiate about two different aspects: 1. The service experience. based on the two visits me and my wife had where (pregnancy related) I can tell that we had very good treatment from the techs and most of the stuff was friendly and gentle. BUT, 2. The billing portion has been the WORST NIGHTMARE I've ever been in terms of health providers experience. First, they made us pay up front and for the 2 appointments we had there this ended-up being about 1000USD.
We provided them with our insurance's information so that they could call them and check our coverage which they presumably did BUT DON'T TRUST THEM people! A couple of months after the service I realized that they did not even bill my insurance. So, I had to call them several times (yes, it's hard to get a hand on their billing department) to fix this first thing. Then, I got feedback from my insurance that they made mistakes on the claim so that the claim needed to be re-submitted in the right way.
My insurance said such feedback was given to them on what was wrong and how to correct it but I called their billing department again just to confirm that was true (and yes, it was). So, I waited another couple of weeks to let them process the claim but nothing happened. I decided to call again and they were again able to confirm that they know what to do but were "unsure" why they haven't been able to complete the change in the claim!
Long story short. one of the claims has been completely processed now and they (Peninsula Diagnostic) have been payed from my insurance for that service! This means that they have been payed twice: first time from me the day of the visit and the second one by the insurance company on November last year. So, now I'm struggling to get a reimbursement from them (apparently the billing number I am calling to is not for these kind of matters so that they have to call another person who -they claim- will follow-up with me). Now, if you're wondering what happened to the other claim. well, that one is still in the process of getting fixed as they haven't send it with the right information and to the right PO Box. Yes, it'll be almost a year since the first date of service and they are still "figuring out" how to fix the claim they messed-up.
I reiterate, STAY AWAY if you can! they rarely follow-up on your inquiries once you've paid them and I've never have got a call back to the many voice-mail messages I've left to them. I'm sad to read that these has happened to other people as well and I wish I would have read their reviews beforehand. I hope you'll do.

My experience with this company has felt predatory at best. I did a 20 week pregnancy ultrasound with them. The experience at the office was subpar but the biggest nightmare has been with the bill. I was supposed to have a virtual visit with the doctor. We never saw or talked to a doctor. Now for the fun part, the bill. When i first called them before my ultrasound they told me it would be paid in full.
After the fact they sent me a bill for over 500. I have been on the phone with multiple people and they all seem to give me a different story. Once my ultrasound was not quoted as a pregnancy one and then it was but it wasn't covered in full when I had been assured it was. Stay away if you can.

Last week I had an ultrasound at this facility. The ultrasound was done very well, the technician was great. But what drove me nuts was 2 employees that were working in the back area of the reception didn't wear masks. The person at the reception only pulled up her mask very annoyed once I started talking to her, in between she took it off. And I saw 2 persons in the back not wearing masks either. For a health care provider I was shocked to see that and as a result I didn't necessarily feel safe there.

My (prenatal) ultrasound tech was good and friendly but the overall service at this location is quite awful. That includes: waiting 30 minutes for an appointment when no other patients are in the office, constant billing problems that took weeks to follow up with and get fixed, having "extra" services performed during appointments and not being told they will have additional charges, etc.
Despite paying on site and in full before every appointment, I'd have to spend at least three weeks following up with the billing department and insurance provider to find out why none of the office charges matched the insurance claims, and why we were receiving additional bills, etc. So happy to have switched insurance companies so I never have to deal with this place ever again.

This place is HORRIBLE! I've had at least 30 mammograms, and I've never had such a bad experience. The technician was rude and extremely rough. My chest is bruised and it looks like I have a broken blood vessel. At one point, she yanked on the skin in my under arm to position me. I have an abrasion where she grabbed me. It's burning and painful. Usually women's imaging places are respectful and gentle. I will never go back here.

If I could give Peninsula Diagnostic Imaging 10 stars I would. This is my second visit (1st time for myself and the second for my teenaged daughter). From making my appointment, to checking in, to being seen. we received top notch service. The staff there is absolutely fabulous! Everyone is kind, accommodating, and gracious. They provide snacks, tea, and coffee for their guests.
Both visits I was in and out within 30 minutes. And they validate parking! Prices are SO reasonable. What I would've paid hundreds of dollars for through the hospital was a minuscule amount here! I would recommend Peninsula Diagnostic Imaging for all your imaging needs (x-rays, ultrasound, mri, mammogram, etc)!
