Payment is expected at the time of service. If MEA is in network with your insurance, the co-pay will be accepted for all covered charges and we will file with your insurance company. Any charges for services not covered by your insurance will be due at the time of service. Front desk receptionist very rude. They take the phone off the hook in the afternoons The Doctor was to call in prescriptions yesterday afternoon for my wife who tested positive for COVID and is very sick. The pharmacy did not get them And we tried to call MEA the receptionist had taken the phone off the hook. This is the second time we have experienced this! So unprofessional and uncaring. There's is not a rating low enough for the office but the Doctor was very good

If I could rate this place a negative 50, I would. They are extremely slow, unconcerned, and rude. They over charge you and will not inform you of the balance you have on your account. I had $80 that they kept on my account for 2 years and never informed me of it. I went to another MEA and they told me. BEWARE--They also send incorrect claims to your insurance company.
I hope you have 6 hours to waste being sick, bc that's how long it will take to be seen. They have a handful of new nurse's who are definitely not the old crew and they play more than they work. Their only saving grace is that not many people can get to another clinic in another area as easily as others. You might win some, but you just lost 1.

This place is one of the slowest places I've ever been. A 15 minute Covid test, they didn't do the swab until after an hour of waiting and then asked a thousand "triage" questions I didn't want for JUST A COVID TEST, PLEASE. And made me walk inside through the waiting room when they have an area in the parking lot for that. The only reason I go here is because they're good at dealing with my work insurance, but they got a serious claim denied bc they called my nerve damage "headaches."

I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. After waiting in the lobby for one hour, I was asked by one of the nurses in front of everyone in the lobby, what was my visit for as if I was gonna reveal my symptoms right there in the lobby. Once I got to the back to receive service, I was asked again in from of everyone what was going on with me.
Ever heard of HIPPA?! I then waited in the assigned room for another 40 minutes without service. I witnessed very unprofessional interaction between the employees talking very loudly about personal things. Over the past years, I've been to this place, I never have been so disappointed, and I won't be going back. I really hope this is a wake up call. When you're in that line of business, a level of utmost professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness is highly critical. I would have given 0 stars if I could have.

I went here on the 19th and had to wait until the cows come home. They are extremely slow & SOME of them seem to be very unconcerned about you being sick. There was a black lady who was filling out forms for her mom who was extremely sick but had not made it to the clinic yet. The heavy set blonde was so rude to her basically saying " if she isn't here by 5:00 we won't see her because that is the time we close'.
When I was in the exam room I over heard some of the staff asking if the woman's mother had made it & someone said no. A female said "well if she gets here and its 5 pm I'm not letting her in!" Then they all started laughing. The sweet old lady's blood sugar levels was dangerously low. The first round of meds I received on the 19th did absolutely nothing & I unfortunately had to go back a second time because all the other clinics were closing early.
The second time I went back I waited 3 hours! When I finally made it to the exam room waiting for the doctor after waiting over an hour in the waiting room, I could over hear the staff making a mockery about people being sick into some kind of Christmas song. I over heard them say " we are beating Madison, this is the busiest we have been since we opened.
They wanted to do all these tests on me & basically guessing instead of actually trying to find out whats wrong with me. They only want your money. The heavy set blonde who I assume is the office manager is rude & has a very arrogant unconcerned air about her. I will NEVER go to this clinic again! I'd rather just pray my illness away than to wait until the Lord steps out on the cloud to be seen & over hear staff members talking about patients. I wish there was a no star option!
