Cataracts are cloudy areas in the lens of the eye. They normally develop over the course of a person's life and nearly everyone over 60 years of age has some degree of cataract formation. When cataracts impair vision, it is time to trade in the clouded lens for a crystal clear replacement. Modern cataract surgery involves removing the clouded natural lens and implanting a clear replacement lens. The standard replacement lens delivers vision in best focus at a single distance (far distance is most common).

I've done all of my eye exams here since being a kid and they have the best doctors and care. After careful consideration, I decided LASIK was the best option for me. Dr. Park and his team were extremely thorough in the multiple appointments prior to the surgery and presented my options for patient care. The ease in scheduling, medical experience and my personal experience were all of the reasons why I chose to go with Associated Eye Care for LASIK and will return for future care.

I waited a month to get into the Stillwater location, and a few days before my appointment, I received a reminder email which had switched my appointment to the Hugo location without informing or asking me. I had waited a month for this appointment because I specifically wanted the Stillwater location. When I called, they could not fix it and had no explanation.

I have used Associated Eye Care as my primary optometrist for several years. I was pretty disappointed with my last experience. I scheduled an appointment and was billed $286 for an eye care visit. I waited for my insurance to go through, but got concerned once I got a collections notice. Despite my insurance not changing and their website saying they accept Medica, Associated Eye Care decided to stop accepting my insurance, but did not mention this when I scheduled my appointment or when I gave them my insurance card upon check-in. Additionally, I told them I have dry eyes.
They charged me $60 per eye for a tear osmolarity test to confirm I have dry eyes, but didn't do anything about it. So I guess I just paid $120 for a doctor to tell me I have dry eyes--something I already knew. Overall, I think the employees here are just as much sales people as they are doctors. Keep that in mind when they try to sell you lasik or a test you probably don't need. Luckily I can't cry about the bill because my tear osmolarity is so high.

I was referred to Associated Eye Care by two friends. They both suggested Dr. Park. From the moment I checked in, everyone was very professional and friendly. The initial exam was very efficient. When I met Dr. Park, he answered all of my questions and explained the procedure thoroughly. Left feeling that I had made a good decision and felt very confident in Dr. Park and his staff. I would highly recommend Dr Park and Associated Eye Care.

I am so disappointed in this place. My wife had an appointment today with Dr. Lang. We got there 15 minutes early as asked. Then she had to wait an hour and 15 minutes without being taken care of or talked to. She finally got up and we left and she canceled her next appointment too. So disappointing. Bad service unhelpful help. Let me revise this review. They did contact my wife apologize and reschedule her exam. So give them some points for that.
