The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. I saw Dr Holt and I could not be happier with the result. KOC has been extremely helpful and professional.

Where to begin; very cattle like feel to the whole experience. similar to Aspen Dental, Value Vision, and other companies that try to funnel people through a system to get as many people through the gates as possible; little to thoughtfulness or respect for the patients' time of concerns even when problems still persist. -Every problem with KOC is resolved with surgery. -Every appointment is a minimum 1.5 hr wait to see someone who is more interested in getting out of the room and saying that it requires surgery. -Then they want as many return trips as they can squeeze out of the patients. -The scheduling doesn't know which location they are scheduling so every appointment is a 50\50 opportunity that the scheduling is right on their end even though their automated system tells you a certain location. I tend to believe that all this is to allow them to double book appointments and to bump people when more "important" customers need a to seen.

I just want to say how much I enjoyed working with Dante and Brent. They were so professional and friendly. I had to take my 21 month old daughter to a walk-in appointment because her foot was injured. Coming to a large clinic like KOC, I thought we would be ushered in and out like cattle. This was not the case. Dante and Brent treated us like we were real people. They took the time to sit with my daughter and me. You have two very special people on your staff! Thanks for the great treatment.

The staff and physicians are extremely professional and polite. Dr. Calhoun and Dr. Crawford are my two favorite doctors at KOC! Dr. Calhoun has done both my hand surgeries for worker's compensation and I trust him completely. I first met Dr. Calhoun when he repaired my son's shattered finger from a high school football game. Dr. Crawford has been treating my granddaughter's foot since birth and has been taking a conservative approach to her treatment rather than just jumping into surgery.

Dr. Mathien has repaired both my knees. I like how he takes time to answer all my questions & concerns. His bedside manner is great! He tells it like it is so you know what is going on to help his patients make well informed decisions on their medical treatments. I dread my knee replacement, but I know when it happens, I'm in good hands with Dr. Mathien as my surgeon.

I had a scaphoid fusion. I would recommend Dr. Ivy to anyone that has wrist or any other joint pain. He is excellent. I had been dealing with pain and numbness from my wrist for a couple of years and now it's almost completely gone. I still have good movement of my hand and wrist. Scarring is minimal. Thank you so much for helping me get my life back Dr. Ivy!

From the time I went into the office until I left, every staff member was very friendly to me. My wait wasn't long at all and Dr Ivy took the appropriate amount of time I think to explain to me my diagnosis along with my options. I really appreciated all this. I would definitely recommend this office just based on my first visit. A big thumbs up.

Dr. Ivy and his staff are professional and compassionate. The office was clean and neat. The staff was caring and friendly. And Dr. Ivy was informative and took great care with my surgery. I would highly recommend this group.

We had an amazing experience. They treated my daughter, who is a little over a year old, actually enjoyed being at KOC. They didn't force her to do anything she didn't want to do. When taking x-rays they showed her how to lay her hand (she needed a little assistance). AMAZING! Thank y'all!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Davidson. My surgery went very well and he has great bed side manner. I haven't had any pain after the first day. Dr. Davidson also did surgery on my dad last year and he has done great! I would recommend Dr. Davidson to everyone!

This review is based on my visit to the Knoxville Orthopedic After Hours Clinic off Old Weisgarber Rd in west Knoxville. This is the location near Dowell Springs. I arrived at 6:30 I had checked with my insurance before arriving. The entrance to the after hours is to the left and on the backside of main entry. After doing paperwork I was seen within 10 minutes.

I seen Steve Bean who was very polite listen to my problem made a recommendation. I received great treatment everyone from the receptionist, X Ray Tech to the PA was very helpful, professional and friendly. My issue was treated I was very happy with everything done. It was 7:25 when I left.

From reading the older comments, I think KOC must have improved a great deal. I rarely have to wait more than 15 minutes at the West Knox or Weisgarber locations. In addition, I went there for an emergency appointment and got thru that process real quick. I also had knee replacement with Dr Botero and had a great experience from beginning to end.

Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic has a super team of doctors, nurses and administrations working overtime to provide my son with a healthy recovery from his injuries. The moment I called to setting up his doctor's appointment, to checking him in to see his orthopaedic was very professional. While we were waiting to be seen we really enjoyed to comfortable chairs, vending machines and the free wifi in the waiting area.

The entire staff working at the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic was very kind to my 12-year-old son Rain. And doctor Curtis Gaylord MD is truly the best pediatric orthopaedic surgeon specialist on this planet. Doctor Gaylord is one of my son's favorite super hero, who can fix, mend, and repair any injuries or broken bones.

The wait times are HORRIBLE! If you have an appointment at 10am, expect to see the doctor around 12. What is the point of making an appointment if the doctors are so behind anyway? Some people have to explain why they were gone half the day when they get back to work! Aside from that. the doctors are good, personable, and engaged. I recommend getting treatment here. If not for the wait time the rating would be 5 stars.

Dannaher Drive Office in Powell! NEVER AGAIN My 8yr old seen Dr. Crawford on this visit and it was our very first time seeing him. The staff was nice but really seemed in a hurry/rush. Dr. Crawford was soooo rude. He acted like I was completely dumb and didn't really want to hear anything I had to say. Also, he didn't spend very much time with my daughter to diagnose her with something and just said she will be fine, that she just has to tough it out and rest.

On top of all of that, he didn't give me any info on how to keep her from hurting or what could possibly make it a bit better. Her heels and feet hurt her all the time and keep her from running/playing sometimes because the pain is so bad she doesn't want to walk. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. I do NOT recommend him to anyone! We will never be back!

Dr. Bruce Fry is an excellent doctor. He has been treating my back issues since 2006. His treatments allows me to remain the active person I am. I hike, golf, bike, snow ski and play pickleball. Without Dr. Fry's treatment I would no be able to do all the things I love to do.

Took my 3 year old after she broke her arm. They messed up on their scheduling and after us driving an hour and a half to get there REFUSED to see her and said I was the one that messed up (when I have proof that I didn't) they were very rude about the entire situation. Would NOT recommend to anyone! What kind of doctors don't care about 3 year old little girl?!?!

Poor staff and wait times are enormous, easily upwards of 2 hours. Patients are double and triple booked. Your time with the doctor will be treated the same, as soon as you get in prepare to be hurried out. Simple symptoms of a much bigger problem were missed by Dr. McPeake and staff. Extremely poor experience from top to bottom.

I really hope I never have to come here. I brought my mom for an appointment at 315 pm. We got there about 3, signed in and sat down. An hour and half later I went to ask how much longer it would be because we had other things to get done and didn't know it would take so long. She told me that there were 2 other people in front of my mom and let me know I could leave but they lock the doors at 5 so I wouldn't be able to come back in. Ok, so after talking with my mom she convinced me she would be ok and to go.

So I did, I left at 430pm, came back at 515pm, didn't see her (or anyone), and parked in the loop. Finally at 545pm someone wheeled her out. So after almost 3 hrs we were done. My mom really likes her Dr, so that's why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. Also would be good if they checked the bathrooms occasionally instead of chit chatting because it only takes a few mins to pick up the mess.

I got there well before my appointment. I was called to go see the doctor almost 50 minutes after my appointment time. This is rotten service.

I think it's great that they have an after hours clinic, but the wait time is usually at least about an hour and half to be seen.

I broke my ankle and was sent to KOC. I did not know any of the doctors there and just took whatever appointment that their office suggested. On my first visit doctor McPeake was 2 hours late for my appointment. He did surgery a week later. When I went back for my 2 week check up, I told the nurse that I had fallen again and hurt my big toe on the other foot.

When doctor McPeake came in he talked to me so badly and when I tried to say something he told me to be quite and listen to what he had to say or he would walk out of the room I was in. I am suppose to go back in 4 weeks and I told them I wanted to see a different dr. I was told I had to call someone else and I did that. I was told by this person that she would see if she could get someone to take over my care and let me know.

I still haven't heard anything from her. I feel like I should had a say in my own care and I shouldn't have to pay a doctor to be loud and rude and very very unprofessional to me. I would not take my worse enemy to this doctor. He shouldn't even be practicing medicine.

Miracle workers! My husband's shoulder was causing constant pain. Even though he has a high pain threshold, it was waking him up and limiting him. Dr. Holloway did a total shoulder replacement the end of June. Within a week he could move more than he had in years. Six weeks after surgery, he took up golf! Within 3 months we would forget he had ever had surgery!

Their office is very busy and they can't spend a lot of time with you sometimes, but he and his nurse answered all of our questions. The office staff always got back to us if we called and were helpful. Dr. Holloway is a wonderful and skilled physician!

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY! My wife had a minor back pain. Had to wait 2 hours to see a doctor for 2 minutes. Did a series of x-rays and said all look fine. They asked to do MRI which is their money maker. The doctor said the treatment would be physical therapy or shots no matter what the MRI says. The doctor was not interested in taking care of the pain. His interest was to do an MRI.

Have tried for over 3 weeks to get my husband into this place. We had the records sent over from his previous doctor from another state and was told that the doctors would review to see who wanted to take over the care. Waited for a call back, never received a call. When I called up there, they tell me, "the records have been sent to the doctor and we are just waiting on his reply".

I think not. My husband and I will be heading to find another Ortho. Their "hold" message says that they have "compassion" and "care about your needs". What a joke! If that was the case, they would not have played around and made anyone wait 3 weeks to get in to be seen. A torn MCL, severe contusions, nothing makes a difference. When we were finally able to speak with someone and get him an appt, they stated that the earliest that they will have available is still another two weeks away. That is 5 weeks of waiting. Nope. We are done. I don't recommend this place for anyone!

Office waiting area was like a cattle roundup, also very messy. Was call and put into a room with no chair, had to balance myself onto exame table with torn ACL and MCL. Wait time a long time. P.A. came in did not introduce himself said to have another set of X-rays, said "yes, you sprained you knee and you should think to stop doing stuff like this, you are close to my age" I told him I am concerned my knee does not feel well.

He called in a MRI. Did not tell me what to do. On the way out he said he could get order me crutches. Next Doctor was nice enough but as vague as the rest of KOC. Just said "yes" torn ACL. Explained what it was but did not go into detail. Did not order PT. I had to call back to request PT. By the way you once you leave the office getting to talk to a live voice on your case is not likely. Will not be using this clinic ever again. If I had a child I would not bring them there.

Now another family member is afraid to go through with their scheduled surgery since I recently had surgery and after doing well took a turn for the worse. Problem is they won't let me see my surgeon and tell me to go to the ER and the ER will call them and then they will work me in. I called the ER where this physician is affiliated and they say that is not necessarily the case. Paying an ER co-pay when I'm having post-surgery problems for nearly 2 weeks now is ridiculous.

Also having PA Nancy laugh at me when I told her why I couldn't have a certain test, isn't helping the situation. Never ever in my life have I been unable to see a surgeon if I had problems after surgery.
