The spinal column is one of the most important parts of the body, as it makes many different functions possible, including movement and balance. The spinal column also allows for upright posture, protection of the spinal cord and shock absorption. The spinal column and vertebrae are made of different elements, all of which protect the spinal cord while communicating with the brain.
There are many different types of conditions that cause back pain. Like most medical conditions, back pain is treatable through several methodologies. Rude staff. Won't answer phone. Long appt waiting doctor seen me 10 minutes. Didn't even touch me had me to do movement exercise told me to rate pain. If you need Dr report better have 20.00 to pay if lot of note sheets you better take xtra money. Charges to send short term disability off. Some of notes they typed in were wrong. Place is a joke.

My mother in law brain surgery to remove a tumor in her frontal lobe. Supposedly the day after the surgery me and my wife were told that my mother in law had a 20 minute seizure. I did extensive research and after a 20 minute seizure my mother in law should have either died or been completely brain dead. Dr. Ken Smith did my mother in laws surgery.
When my wife and I asked for a second opinion he flat out told us NO. He said that my mother in law didn't need a second opinion. And to beat all of that my mother in law was in a drug induced coma for almost 5 months and then had to be put in a nursing home. She lived almost a year in the nursing and she passed away. Dr. Ken Smith's nurse called my wife and wanted permission to have her mother taken to Dr. Smiths office for a checkup and my wife said no because her mother could not handle the ambulance ride, so the nurse tried to go over my wifes head and called the nursing home and tried to get the nursing home to transfer my mother in law to Dr. Ken Smith's office and even the nursing home told Dr. Ken Smith's nurse that my mother in law was not able to be moved. My mother in law had never had seizures in her life, and if Dr. Ken Smith wasn't so guilty about what happened to my mother in law, why did he denie a second opinion.

My wife was sent there after being in pain for 6 weeks and not sleeping. She can't stand, lay down, walk, drive a car or sit down. Her MRI showed damage to her L5 and her nerves. However according to Dr. Pryputniewicz that's nothing and it's normal. She waited for hours and was seen but nurses who poked and prodded on her and said more tests where needed despite already having X-Rays and MRI. The doctor saw her for 2 minutes and everyone there had bad attitudes and acted like she was a inconvenience for them to see.

Doctor P is dishonest we have been waiting for over 2 hours now and still haven't seen anyone total upset at this point. The staff lie and cover up for the Doctors this is a Post Op visit and we have to see a nurse practitioner where's the Doctor and why can't we question him we were told by the staff upon arrival that we would see the nurse first then the doctor, when the nurse came in after 2 hours we asked to see the Doctor she was quick to tell us he's not in the office today and won't be.
Stay as far away from this practice as you can We had problems with the doctor in the Hospital and it hasn't changed going to the office Now we can't get a clear answer on test results and all week when I called them to see if the test results were in which I knew they had ( I called the Lab ) and they lied about it yet again. So if the test are inconclusive Why would you send someone for chemo or radiation treatment if they don't have a clear test result which by the way is from JOHNS HOPKINS.
We had to threaten, moving my husband to get answers in the hospital after 2 days of no communication all the sudden within 3 minutes I'm not only getting a call from his nurse but 6 minutes later we get a visit from the surgeon MIRACULOUSLY JUST LIKE THAT NOW THEY ARE HEARING US. Very unprofessional and when we asked about the surgeons reputation we heard from Hospital staff they call him the BUTCHER. STAY CLEAR OF David Pryputniewicz MD He's a horrible doctor and worse person

Fired them today! Had an 11 am appointment last Tuesday. Was there 3 and a half hours. Doctor was with me about 10 minutes. Asked what I wanted him to do! He dissed my MRI. Said it was not good enough. Supposed to make an appointment for me for another MRI. Waited a week and no appointment. The NP, who was the only nice person there, ask if I wanted a pain injection. Yes!
Need something. Said they would make a referral to pain doctor. Would take maybe 2 weeks for the appointment. Anyway, I called yesterday. Had to leave a message. Wanted to know when MRI was scheduled. No call back. The more I thought about it, the more upset I got. So, this morning I called and left a message telling them I no longer wanted there services. Guess what? Got a call within 15 minutes wanting to schedule a MRI. Said pain doctor was out of the country! I fired them. Best I have felt in weeks.

They will not return phone calls. My mother is a patient. While recovering at Select Care and then a rehab facility her doctors tried to call this office with concerns about her recovery. They would always get answer machine and no one ever called back. I have called several times about my mother's condition since she has been home and they will not return my calls.

My spouse had back surgery last Thursday and came home Sunday. Monday he started running a fever and having auditory and visual hallucinations. I called FOUR times and the nurse said she would call back. The FIFTH time the PA called back and said it must be his medicine. I told her he's not on any new medicine and I had asked the nurse should I bring him over to that hospital.
She said well I wasn't talking to the nurse now, I was talking to her, and MAYBE they could see him on Friday. In the meantime he went in the hospital locally with pneumonia and having hallucinations and is still having them. Even the nurse from the hospital there tried and absolutely could not reach the doctor, and I doubt he got our messages, so if you want to be left on your own with major complications, see this facility.
