Unbelievable that they charged $50 per person for a rapid Covid test that wasn't needed. Did not treat a dehydrated child and failed to call in a prescription. When people aren't feeling well and go to places like this for relief- it should be received. How hard is a bag of fluids? Seems like they are only concerned with covid results and not actually treating a patient. Happy Vacation.

$95 for a doc to look at my leg and talk to him for 5 minutes to be diagnosed as a tick bite (because he saw 5 earlier that day). He says, "I THINK it's a tick bite." What do you mean you think? "I saw 5 of em earlier today and they all looked similar." So I got 3 other opinions (2 nurses from Baltimore and AGH). Turns out it was an infected spider bite.
I saw a lot of complaints in reviews from front desk. They must have had that worked on. They weren't as bad as described and the nurse was friendly. Other than that, not to happy I'm out $95 for a wrongful diagnosis.

So this place straight up PRICE GUAGES. If you have any issues deal with the manager Sammy. The front desk is literally the most disrespectful bunch I've ever come across after working in healthcare realm for over a decade. It was so unbelievable they in unison tried to argue fake charges.then the younger one started saying 'bye.bye.bye.bye'. 30 mins later after having Cigna call Sammy assured everything would be reimbursed.
So I will be visiting tomorrow to make sure she holds up that assurance. Anyone that has been price gauged here or felt this way please meet I at this location TOMORROW, 1/15/2022, at 9:30 am. I will help anyone that is confused with understanding their benefits and how this place is wrongly charging patients. The woman that manages EOBs said covid testing was not covered by my insurance.
I almost laughed out loud because I have managed 500mil + in revenue cycle billing for 2 of the top 5 healthcare systems in the country. Copay is waived with covid relation, covid testing is waived by private insurance. They can still bill the insurance company but the patient does not need to pay this! What a scam company harping on the good people of West OC.

Beware of overcharges and absolutely miserable, rude reception staff! Just what you want to deal with when you are feeling unwell. They will over charge you, and also charge your insurance too. Went a few years ago, and questioned the copay. The lady gave me such an attitude over it and claimed it was the right amount, it wasn't. I wasn't feeling well enough to even argue further.
I believe they charged me for an ER visit not Urgent Care visit. 2 completely different copays, actually. AND they charged me the same fee again just to get the results back from a test I already paid for. Should have fought it, but I didn't. Unfortunately, I had to go back this year, so did my SO. After he realized they double charged him and his insurance, he called and confronted them about it.
Their excuse was "We do that to make sure we get paid and then we reimburse you." It took several phone calls between them and the insurance company for him to finally get his money back from them. So, when I went, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt I would get a refund. Silly me, I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN REIMBERSED from my winter appt. How many people are they ripping off, charging incorrect copays and double charging?!
If you don't catch it, it's your loss. It's a shame, the doctors are great. Go to Your Doc's In, trust me! Very nice and compassionate receptionist, great doctors, fair pricing.
