Services
Our patients can now securely access their personal medical record online, from the privacy of their home or any other location with an internet connection utilizing the My Kid's Chart patient portal. Bay Area Pediatrics remains an independent private pediatric practice, but we have partnered with My Kid's Chart to utilize the patient portal system.
The office is located in the Chesapeake Bay Business Park in the Radcliffe Building, 165 Log Canoe Circle, in Stevensville. You will enter our office, Suite E, from the rear parking lot of the building. We are on the north side of Route 50 on Route 8, exit 37. From Route 50 East, take the first exit over the Bay Bridge, Route 8, exit 37 and make a left at the traffic light onto Route 8 North. At the second traffic light, make a left onto Skipjack Parkway. This will bring you in to the Chesapeake Bay Business Park.
The need for a written referral varies by insurance carrier. Should you require a referral to see a specialist, we ask that you allow a minimum of 48 hours to complete your referral. For referral requests, please send the office a message through the patient portal. There is a specific message template for these requests.
Your baby is finally here! Newborns are wonderful, but exhausting! Having friends or family around to provide extra help and support can be very helpful. Make sure all visitors wash their hands well. Your baby's first visit to our office takes place during his or her first week of life, usually 1-2 days after you are discharged from the hospital.

My kids have been going to Dr. K for 12 years (since before my youngest was even born). It's out of the way for us but it's well worth it. The staff is wonderful. Ms. Joyce and both Ms. Kims have been there since we started going and they're always super nice and professional. Dr. K has never steered us wrong. If we have questions, he always takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense. He lets us take the lead if there's more than one treatment option. I would not hesitate to recommend BAP to another parent.

Have you ever been so busy that picking up the phone and asking a question is this easiest way to solve a problem? Do not do that here. The office staff could care less about the patients. The doctor and his nurses, are nice to work with, but going through the office staff isn't worth the trouble. Or if you are interested, watch them bicker in public while you wait. Its somewhat entertaining.

The office is constantly closing early. I was in the map room with my child and I could hear the receptionist Renee slamming her keyboard and as I was leaving she just gave us the dirtiest looks. The time before that when I tried to pay my bill in cash she looked completely confused about how to give me change. Dr. K and his NPs are amazing but his staff is incompetent.
I feel like in the last three years they are constantly going through nurses. He really needs to figure out what's going on or he's going to start losing patients because parents are starting to see something needs to change. This is a small community people talk.

Over the past 17 months of our daughters life, these people have become like family! The staff is exceptional and always greets so warmly. We just adore Dr. K, he is the calmest most peaceful and nourishing man to these littles. And of course is very experienced and knowledgeable. We feel so comfortable with Bay Area and are so thankful to have our daughter in their hands.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this practice! We switched here a few years ago after ongoing bad service at another large pediatric practice. Dr. K is an amazing doctor - he listens to you, spends time with you during appointments, doesn't dismiss parent concerns, and is empathetic and caring. He really has gotten to know my son over the years and actually cares! I would pay out of pocket to go here. Office staff is helpful and dedicated. A++++++

I travel so far to come to this office (45 minutes). The care my children receive is worth the ride. They are amazing there! The atmosphere, service, staff, nurses (Nurse Krystal), the doctor (Dr. K) are all AWESOME! The healthcare and advice has helped my children to remain healthy. My children feel comfortable there and really don't wish to go anywhere else.
I have a teenager who still looks forward to his visits. My youngest enjoys visiting and naming all of the beautiful animal pictures painted on the walls. As a parent, I always feel delighted in knowing they care for my children at Bay Area Pediatrics. Great place to make a part of your children's life.did wonders for mine!
