Services
A bone density scan (DEXA) measures the density and mineral content in bone, most often in the hip or lower spine. Computed tomography (CT) helps differentiate between healthy and diseased tissue in any part of the body, making it possible to accurately diagnose many diseases at an early stage. Mammography is a type of low-dose X-ray of the breast.
Advanced Radiology operates conveniently located imaging centers in Maryland. Our scheduling team will respond as soon as they can once they receive your appointment request for a radiology exam. Please note that all deductible, co-pay, and co-insurance amounts are required to be paid at the time of service. I was very nervous about my first mammogram, but the experience was surprisingly smooth and easy. The receptionist was pleasant, and I waited only a couple of minutes in the waiting room. I want to give a big shout out to the technician Debbie who not only put me completely at ease but performed the test quickly and with as little discomfort as possible. What a relief to no longer have to dread this test!

Nataya McCoy was completely disrespectful at my appointment today. I came in, signed in at the front desk as I was asked and then sat down. No one called me to the stations. My appointment time was within 10 minutes of my arrival. Finally I stood up walked to a station (I wish I chose another station) and asked if I could know if I can be seen soon because I had a full bladder per my doctors request.
This lady Nataya asked for my information, and afterwards she said she could not see that my doctors office called over/sent over the reason for my visit. I doubted that was the case as this was an emergency appointment in which the doctors secretary called me to confirm it was sent over yesterday. So I called the office and spoke to someone who verified they sent over my paperwork and they gave me the specific time the copy showed it was sent.
The lady Nataya was dry condescending and nonchalant. I was over it and the disrespect from this young woman who obviously shouldn't be working in a customer service field let alone be in the health related field where customer service is required the most.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. It took the front desk assistant over 30 minutes to just enter my information, the poor woman was clearly struggling with the technology. I asked the women next to her to please help, but she just rolled her eyes, barely did anything. It took so long that I had to leave and couldn't get the x-ray before the closed.

It was an amazingly easy appointment. I showed up at the appointment time. I was with the technician within about 3 minutes. The technician did the procedure, left the room to confer with the doctor. Came back within 5 minutes and showed me the door. I was in my car 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Happy experience!

I went in for a scheduled appointment and check in was easy and painless. They're very efficient and send you information to check in ahead of time to avoid the rush to fill out a bunch of paperwork in person. The technician was efficient and knowledgeable, and most of all was extremely personable. They have lockable cabinets where you can store your purse and jacket while you're getting your screening/service. I felt at ease and would go back to this location again if I need radiology services in the future. Also, there's ample parking and accessibility options.

The staff are very professional, kind and caring. Except for one person. The doctor who reads the mammograms. She has absolutely no bedside manner. When I had a suspicious result, she literally opened the door, yelled in - you have a lump -and left. No counseling, no discussion. I would not recommend this center because of her

Me and my mother have called various times because they made her pay for her treatment, then the insurance company paid for it, and it's been a hassle and a half to get her 800 dollars back! If they owe you money You have no choice but to pull up to there office and make a scene, or else you'll be put on hold for hours!

Came in for an ultrasound the heavy set african american woman at the front desk got smart. The other front desk staff were very polite and helpful, I was taken back pretty fast and was told my bladder wasnt full enough, to drink more water snd I would get seen in 20 mins. I waited for almost an hour for someone to come back for me and they never did so I went to the bathroom, and asked to reschedule where I was confronted with the same woman being smart yet again because she clearly didn't know what she was doing, asking other employees for help every 2 seconds. You shouldn't be in this line of work if you don't want to deal with customers. After that I just walked out. I will never be coming back to this location.

Not too happy with this place. Made an appointment and wasn't seen until 45 minutes after my appointment time. The technician was very cold and not personable. Very disappointed. However, the front desk was super nice and super professional! If I based my review on the front desk alone it would've easily been 5 stars, but the technician made my visit miserable, perhaps she was having a bad day, but it really impacted me in a negative way. Not sure if I'll try this place again :/

Never have had a problem here! I always make an appointment and come at least 10 min early. My appointment today was at 8:15AM. I arrived at 8:05 on the dot and was walking out at 9:10. They always listen to your concerns! I have really hard veins and they are pros at making those veins pop as long as you tell them. MRI's are never really pleasurable but the staff here at Advanced makes it easier to tolerate!

Very friendly, personable and sincere customer service. My appointment was for 8:30 am and I arrived around 8:15 to fill out necessary paperwork. I was called to be seen by Anna by 8:40 and was out of the exam room by 9:05. Anna was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all the questions I had. If you can request someone, make your choice Anna. You won't be disappointed!
