Studies have shown that medication is effective in treating the symptoms of ADHD alone or in combination with behavioral interventions. Your child's or teen's doctor will determine whether your child or teen has ADHD by using standard guidelines developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics specifically for children, teens, and young adults 4 to 18 years of age.
Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for teens and young adults. More than 5,500 young people die every year in car crashes and thousands more are injured. Parents can play an important role in reducing these numbers and keeping their teens alive. As a parent, you know the importance of your teen's social life and that parties are a way to socialize and relax.
Treating children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often involves a comprehensive program that addresses the education, development, and behavior of the child. Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have difficulties navigating everyday situations. Developmental and behavioral interventions are interrelated and are the mainstay for educating and supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
A certain level of anxiety is typical in some circumstances, such as new situations (and high-stakes testing of adolescents), and naturally protects against real dangers. However, anxiety can sometimes keep young people from activities that are important to their development. One of the most abused drugs in our society is alcohol.

How some of these NP's are qualified to deal with children is unbelievable. My daughter was seen for a follow up today and the mannerisms of the NP we dealt with were beyond awful. Whoever is in charge of the hiring process needs to reevaluate. Dr. Perez is awesome along with a very nice NP I believe her name is Ms. Cierra. Front desk ladies also very polite. Other then that they need to make immediate changes.

My 2 yr old son has a fever, eyes running, nose running, blisters around his mouth and his mouth started bleeding! I called Waldorf pediatrics to bring him in to be looked at because due to Covid I didn't want to have him waiting at the hospital. When I talked to the receptionist over the phone and told her what was going on with my son she told me to be there by 3:15 and they will take a look at him. Got there and instead of taking a look at my son to see what's going on she tells me she can't see him until I pay a remaining balance.
If you knew I had a balance and you wouldn't be able to see my son until I pay it why not say that over the phone I would've taken him somewhere else! She gets the manager and the manager comes out to say the same thing. I've been bringing my son here since he was a new born and now that management has changed in the office it has went down hill. I will now file a complaint and I will be changing my sons pediatric office.

I had a bad experience with the Lady in the office that helped me. I forgot my debit card at home for the copay of $5 dollars and this lady said that she couldn't help me and my baby because I didn't have the five dollars. Thank God I had an emergency card with me in my bag. This people only care about their money, it's very sad.

This office deserves 5 stars! I was very pleased with my first time experience here the other day. The young lady who checked us in was awesome. She was very polite and friendly and we didn't have to wait too long in the waiting room. Dr. Megan was GREAT she is very knowledgeable, thorough and you can tell she loves what she does I'm excited to transfer my other kids here.

My son has been coming to Waldorf Pediatrics for over 6 years now. My daughter is 8 months she is also a patient there. I LOVE all the LADIES including the front desk, nurses and the physicians at Waldorf Pediatrics. Excellent customer service, friendly staff, and atmosphere, always pleasant and happy to assist me with any medical issues that my children might have. I am always able to get a same-day sick appointment for any of my kids. Great Team at Waldorf Pediatrics please keep up the outstanding service.

The office staff is incredibly rude. They fail to execute basic administrative tasks that allow for less troublesome visits. Unfortunately, they're extremely dismissive. They overbook and don't currently have enough providers to see everyone in a timely fashion. They would also benefit from hiring a professional cleaning service, the grime should not be visible in every room.

So this is our first time here as we just moved to the area. Looking at the other options in the area this seems to be the best of the worst and boy are they proving my point! We have been here now for over an hour and have only been triaged. That was after they 25-minute wait in the waiting room to fill out a short novel about a one-year-old's medical history. the good thing that I can save as far as that the staff is very friendly.
Not efficient, but friendly. I'll update once I see the provider if she ever comes in. Edit: wouldn't you know that less than two minutes after I wrote this the provider came in. She is awesome! She actually sat down with us went over everything, answered all of my questions, and did a very thorough examination of my boy. She set him up for referrals just to make sure that her suspicions can be ruled out or treated. I'm very impressed with her, not so much with the wait time. but just for her I will add another star and continue to come back.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is super awesome and so welcoming! the girls at the front desk are also very sweet. We see Laura and she is super awesome with my child! I was in and out to my son's 1 year check up within 45 minutes! Same day sick calls is a life saver as well. Being a first time mom, i have gone in "just in case". They are so understanding and they take the time to explain any and all questions you have! I highly recommend this place to all mommies and daddies! You will not be disappointed.
