For care that can be provided in a local hospital setting, Pentucket Medical clinicians will refer patients to the medical community of their choice. As a member of the Mass General Brigham for those cases that require care beyond what a community hospital can offer Pentucket Medical refers patients to Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Dr. Fowler is top notch doctor. My husband and me have had him for years. He is amazingly patient, professional, kind and caring, If I am sick and call for appointment, he will accept to see me the same day even though he is busy. He is so up to date for all medical issues and explain to you very clear making it so easy understanding.

No matter how hard I try I cannot get ahold of a real person just to get an answer. I am waiting 6 months to even meet my PC Doctor. There is no way to get in touch with her office or to leave a message for someone to call you back. What is the point of having a doctor if one cannot access them. I have NEVER in my life seen a system like theirs. I bet if I owed them money they would be right there to talk to me. They even make it impossible to see her PA. or to leave him a message. If I could give zero stars I would because they have been nonexistent for me.

It was not a good experience checking out with the lady asking me I had to step out and change my mask in and come back in. She was not nice that I just the medical mask right on top of my mask. I relaxed my mask because I couldn't breath, then she comes out of the office and steps right in my personal space. She didn't not respect the 6 ft apart restrictions. She was right in my face. Un respectful staff but the doctor was good. Unprofessional. Will be looking for another gastroenterologist doctor. Won't be going back.

Very rude receptionists, Never get calls back, lack of communication, scheduling appointments without asking if the times or days work, also got told I should get weight loss surgery because "I'm too overweight" or keep forcing me to take weight loss medications! also I'm always told that I could go to one of urgent care offices, but I have NO transportation at all out of the city, I mostly walk to the places I need to. Was also told that "I need to get help"

I am very disappointed in the care I recieved today. I have been using Pentucket Medical Haverhill since I was a kid 3o years and sadly this office made VERY CLEAR that they prioritize insurance being in the system over care for a minor child. My son was denied not once but twice care because we forgot to bring our health insurance card inside. Children should never be denied care.
I am very disappointed that no one thought to advocate for my son. Completely unacceptable. Insurance put into the system and wallah my son may have care. -Sincerely one very upset mother

It was unusual that I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, but it didn't bother me that much. This is only an annual visit & it went as smoothly as ever, didn't take long & the expert I saw-& see every year-was, as always, friendly& informative & answered my questions. Thank you. Stephanie

I have had a troubling persistent cough for almost a month. Katelin Smith, P.A. has been on top of it since my first inquiry in the portal. She scheduled routine tests right away and later was quite persistent when my insurance company denied a CT two times. Katelin provides a thorough explanation of my options and her recommendation and is careful to field my concerns and questions. I appreciate the considerate care of the Lab staff at PMH as well.

Don't come here. The receptionist is rude. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but her attitude towards us is why we won't be coming here again. We came in for an appointment in the afternoon and Unfortunately because of traffic, we were 20 mins late. We came from west NH which is far and when we discovered we would be a little late, we called ahead.
She said that was fine, and she would let the doctor know. When we arrived (a different) receptionist coldly turned us down without even trying to care and she even closed the window on us. Never coming back here again. Don't come here if you expect any sympathy or kindness.

Terrible service! Waiting 45 minutes and longer to reach someone. I had lots of pain in my back. Waited two weeks to have my doctor finally answer my concern. Turns out I had pancreatic cancer. Also trying to have a perception filled. Was over a week! To get someones attention. Not excepable. Leaving the firm for good found. A better doctor and prompt service and somebody gets back to you! Thank God.
