I had a great experience at my first Wilmington Eye appointment today. Wait time was minimal. All the staff were so pleasant; polite, and informative.service with a smile! Crystal and Dr. Spring's nurse were awesome. they explained each test as it was performed. The staff took care to maintain office and equipment hygiene. Dr. Springs was skilled, courteous, and I appreciated the thorough exam/tests I received as well as the time Dr. Springs took to explain the summary of my visit. Thank you for a pleasant appointment! I look forward to my next visit!

These folks are totally tone deaf to customer service. Left them 20 years ago, then they bought our opthalmologist and screwed them up! Time doesn't heal all! DO NOT USE THEM!

I so wish I had met Dr. Geerts when I first moved to Wilmington 6 years ago. She is, truly, one of the most thorough Optometrists I have ever met. She spoke to me in layman's terms; she explained more to me about my eyes during that one visit than any doctor had taken the time to explain in all prior years combined. She was understanding and compassionate, two traits which I find are often lacking today.

Although she spoke with complete confidence, it was obvious she was also listening to me and was responding to any of my questions at my non professional level. I cannot thank her enough.

Have seen multiple doctors/specialist now within Wilmington Eye. There entire staff at any location I have been to, are some of the best. They have you the patient in their best interest to and want to help you. As for the doctors on staff, Dr. Kelly, Watson, and Springs have provided the utmost care for me. Each one has taken the time to help me understand the issues I have with my eyes and want to set-up my impending cataract surgery to be the best they can do so that I can have the best outcome from this surgery. Bravo to all!

We've been going to this office for few years, my only complaint is the fitting fee charged for contact lenses- I understand a fitting fee for first timers but a recurrent charge in a yearly visit makes no sense- there's no need to meet again with a specialist to go over care of contact lenses and even the nurses couldn't explain the reason for the fee other that it's not covered by insurance companies.

And the last two times that I have gotten my contact lenses, one the prescription was mistaken and the second time the right and left lenses were mislabeled- so again a fitting charge when even prescriptions can be delivered correctly- just makes no sense. In the last two visits I had to pay 125 for myself and 125 for my daughter- I normally don't leave reviews in Google but since it's been asked and again I didn't get an answer only a Bill to pay.

Beautiful building and beautiful staff. Morgan was super sweet and made us feel welcomed. Dr was very thorough and although my daughter left in tears, I know she is in good hands with them. The wait wasn't too bad either.

I typically become anxious before an eye exam. My anxiety quickly diminished with my first contact with the receptionist. The staff at Wilmington Eye are just awesome. They are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I had an appointment that was at 2:45 p.m. and at 2:46 p.m. I was being seen. Each technician made me feel like I was their only patient. In my instance, the eye exam, optic nerve scanner, and the physician completed their functions with precision and were timely. In a nutshell, you will feel at home at this facility.

Two hours for a total visit seemed a little long, but saw the sign advertising for help, so it was understandable. Everyone in the office was helpful and extremely pleasant and cheerful so the time passed quickly. Would highly recommend this practice.

My eye appointment went very smoothly. The staff was very professional and polite. I have been going to Wilmington Eye for 5 years. Dr Geertz is an excellent doctor and always take the time to explain my diagnosis to me. Love Wilmington Eye.

GOD the rudest fucking staff in an eye place I have ever been to. Literally the worst eye Dr I have ever stepped foot in. Definitely going somewhere else next time.

They were able to get me in for a same-day appointment. The lady who checks for Covid outside the office and the person who did my intake were great. However, I found everyone else in the office to be curt and lacking in compassion or friendliness. I've worked in a medical office before and there is no excuse to rush someone or treat someone like they are bothering you when it is literally your job to help them.

I don't have a high tolerance for it. I also don't think the doctor took me seriously and was not aggressive in her treatment plan for the scar tissue forming on my eye right in my line of vision. She seemed to be talking quickly just to get in and out of the room and barely gave me any time to ask a question about the prognosis or course of action.

For the unfriendly staff and lack of concern for patient comfort/questions, 2 stars. The stars awarded are for the convenient location/ ample parking, ability to see me for a same-day appointment, and the two staff members that provided decent customer service. I probably wouldn't go back unless I had to.
