The doctors, nurses and everyone who works in the offices are fantastic. I've been seen in Ithaca and Fayetteville and in both locations I have felt welcomed and have gotten treated great. At least one member of the billing team I have not had a great experience with. She called me in regards to a past due balance. I stated that I did not receive a bill in the mail, but I would happily pay it.
She confirmed my address with me and then acted like I purposely was avoiding the bill, stating multiple times "You have to pay it!" while raising her voice. I hung up the phone feeling shaken and very upset. I receive daily e-mails from the post office with a photo of every piece of mail I will receive that day. I looked all the way through April and there was not a single bill from Asthma & Allergy Associates. I understand that she was just doing her job, but the way I was treated was extremely unprofessional.

I can't say enough about this office. I seriously owe Dr. Flannigan SO much. 10 minutes into talking to this man, and he was able to find a solution to live life in a more happy with less breathing and allergy problems. Taking xolair shots here has 100% changed my life! The nurse practitioners are absolutely amazing and kind, and I'd like to think we have a good rapport with them.
I'm always greeted by the nurses and reception, which is great in a world where people aren't concerned with providing customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend going to asthma and allergy!

As a first time patient the staff was very friendly and professional. It took less than ten minutes from the time I got checked in to the time I got in a room with the nurse. I personally worked with Dr. Mariah Pieretti. She is very friendly, listens to anything you have to say and always asks if you have any questions after explaining certain criteria to you. She is willing to help get to the bottom cause of your concerns. I feel comfortable at this office and would recommend them to people I know.

This review is against their Fayetteville, NY office in Northeast Medical Center, same business, just a satellite office. My primary physician here is Dr. Flanagan and I couldn't be happier. He is a very caring and knowledgable care giver. He listens to all of your concerns and addresses them with relevant and detailed medical information. As a child I didn't have allergies and then my twenties happened and I developed then, bummer.
After a skin test they developed my serum and I went in weekly for about three years. The Fayetteville staff is excellent, safe and efficient. You show up, swipe you ID card and have a seat. The tech calls you back, verifies your shots and confirms it's really you. After the shot they make you wait 20 minutes to make sure you don't have anaphylactic reaction. Again, they leverage technology for this safety check so the tech comes out to you at the 20 minute mark to make sure your throat didn't close up.
The billing is smooth as it can be for a doctor's office. I have changed insurance three times and they accepted all three carriers. The front office staff knows claims and process so they keep things moving smoothly. (Sharon is great!) Recently I have moved out of state and have continued to get my serum from them so I don't lose my progress. There have only been two issues, specific to the back-office, one with shipping and the other with medical records release. Escalation to a supervisor and a few phone calls have fixed both.
I am still giving them five stars because I have probably had 50+ seamless visits so I can give them a pass on two minor hiccups. Additionally, I think they are the best allergist shop in the area and they successfully leveraged technology to enhance patient safety and efficiency.
