I set up an appointment for counseling services on December 16th 2020 at the Cheektowaga location. The earliest they had was February 4th at 2pm. It's a little long, but I scheduled it for that day. 2pm goes by and I didn't get a call. I call the office and ask to see what was going on. They transferred me to the counselors voicemail. I left a message.

Almost two hours later I call again and they transfer me to the supervisor. I leave a voicemail for him asking for answers as to why I never got a call from my new counselor. This is inexcusable. They left me in the dark. I waited seven weeks for that day. I even called them last week to confirm yesterday's appointment. At a time where things are uncertain in this world. Seeking therapy is imperative. I would like some answers.

I had been seeing a consoler and physiatrist for 3-4 months and I got completely dropped as a patient. I called and set up about 5 new appointments and I got a call back each time saying my appointments were made in error and did not have an option to reschedule. I tried to call the nurse manager, the nurse staff about 5-10 times and did not get a follow up.

I ended up being two months without meeting with the physiatrist, was running out of my medication and had to go to my primary doctor to give me refills. It was stressful trying to find a new consoler and physiatrist, on top of it I was having concerns about my medication that they did not care to call back and address. The receptionists did not follow up or seem to like their jobs.

I was very hurt by how I got dropped, it was extremely hurtful and unprofessional because I put my trust in these doctors. Would not recommend at all. I understand it's crazy with covid, but a follow up call takes two minutes. Very hurtful, and a terrible experience.

Great clinic can't speak for all the counselors but every one from T E and K and the rest of the receptionist team have been great to me very accommodating. they also managed to switch to telehealth very quickly

This place is a nightmare. David is no longer there! He left the establishment so please do not be misinformed by the good reviews. The counceling is fantastic but the psychiatric unit is atrocious. Every month I was not recieving my meds on time and going through withdrawal. When I explained I needed evening appointments, random morning appointments were given to me and never let me know until the day before. Dropped from one psychiatrist randomly and given another.

In less than a year I have had 3 different doctors and noone would introduce themselves or explain what was going on. You can not speak directly with your doctor until your appointments and have to schedule with your therapist. Origionally you would have to FACETIME your psychiatrist which was always breaking down. This makes no sense. It is a true nightmare. IF YOU NEED MEDICATIONS AND PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENTS PLEASE FOR YOUR SAKE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND I AM WRITING THIS TO WARN FUTURE PATIENTS!

Please remember to maintain your health. It is sooo important but obviously they've dropped the ball at this establishment. Disappointed in them and not just as an establishment but as doctors and people who are supposed to care about you. Smh.

Information is inconsistent-told me my new insurance wouldn't have co-pays. Now my co-pays are more expensive than before I had insurance. Front desk staff can be rude and curt, especially Kim. I've been off my medication for a week now because the best Kim can do for me when I call is send me to the nurse's voicemail. Which happens every time. Do they even have nurses or is just a phone that rings in a corner somewhere?

Try to find a better mental health service provider because these people are not up to the task. Update: still haven't been able to get my prescription because these people are so incompetent. To the manager/owner/whoever reads this, your staff is messing with people's lives. With their health. For an organization with "health" right in the name, you think you'd have something as basic as prescription management for your patients figured out. Shame on you. Fix it.

The health care professionals are dedicated to the patients and are genuinely friendly. Given the large volume of patients they provide service for, they do a good job of accommodating patients' scheduling needs. I was very impressed with how caring the staff is.

Had many questions after being diagnosed bipolar in 45 minutes by an intern. After 6 requests for a copy of the mental health assessment and waiting almost 2 months I was finally given a copy only to find 27 false statements written by the intern. If you are on parole, probation, drug court or mandated by any agency this facility will ensure you are enrolled in each and every program weather you need it or not. Was told I needed anger management even though I've never committed a violent crime in my life, my charge was posession of stolen property, the intern wrote GRAND THEFT AUTO (which is an anger based crime) 3 pages later on the assessment the question was asked " charges to which client is on parole" the intern wrote "strong armed robbery".

Most people attending this place and others like it are mandated by one agency or another and have VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE of what their rights are as a patient. Very few know the DSM standard for diagnosing a mental condition and take the word of an intern. It took me 6 months for this place to reverse the diagnosis. I was told I didn't know what I was talking about.

I'm nit a professional. I have no educational background in these matters. When I stated I was filing a comomaint I was given the standard text book reply " You are free to do what ever you wish. Just remember you risk going back to prison for not being in compliance with this program. 6 months people. I wrote the Governor of New York state after getting no where through (their) proper channels and explained the situation.

The hasty diagnosis, the fraudulent assessment and lack of help from this place in getting a proper assessment, the next day I had an appointment with the "Intern" and explained my disappointment towards the facility, the diagnosis and the iterns apparent lack of experience and that I filed a complaint, the intern said (smugly) thats fine your free to do so, I reached into my folder and withdrew a letter from the Governors office asking my permission for them to speak with the facility about my allegations, I handed the intern the letter, it hit him, he walked out of the room, came back 4-5 minutes later and said "we reversed our diagnosis". Folks this place is in the business to make money PERIOD.

Check and recheck what ever they tell you. Do not be afraid to stand up and ask questions even when they use veiled threats of going back to prison for not participating in a mandated program. If you believe something's not right it probably isnt

Do not come here! They won't send your scripts over even when they say they will. They will cancel appointments every other month. The "people" at the front desk are homeless, inexperienced, uneducated, rude scum. Ask anyone who has had the pleasure of getting sent here!

The therapist i got is wonderful. The prescribing docs are terrible. The meds i was on with previous docs were working good. My doc wants to experiment around prescribing anti psychotic meds to somone she herself said isnt psychotic. These meds have me feeling way worse, and when i called to talk to my therapist, to let her know I need a different psychologist, the office girls got rude and continualy want to put me in contact with the doctor who did the opposite of help me.
