I have been seeing Dr. Wickwire for years now. He is a very friendly and skilled Dermatologist. Makes you feel at ease, with great bedside manner. Fortunately I have not needed much in the way of surgery, other than some minor excisions, which he resolved easily for me. His staff is equally amazing! Alicia, his front office Administrator & Reception is always accommodating with my appointments and supper friendly! Same goes for Dr. Wickwire's nurse of many years, Liberty. Just a super nice staff and great doctor! I highly recommend this business for your dermatology needs!

This dermatologist office is amazing. Lovely staff I have been coming here for years. Alicia and liberty are very caring to all patients. Helped my skin when I was struggling with acne. So grateful for this office and all the work they do!

I have been seeing Fariba for dermatology exams and treatments of my skin for many years. She does a very comprehensive skin check for pre-cancerous spots and is focused on preventive measures. When necessary, she will biopsy the skin to assess for possible further treatment. I have also had cosmetic procedures done, usually botox. She takes time to ensure the best result from the injections and truly cares about her patients, their needs, and comfort level. She has also done other spot removals when appropriate. I feel very confident with her experience and expertise and have referred friends and family.

Started going to Fariba for skin screening when I realized that my previous dermatologist was not addressing my worrisome skin issues. She has done multiple biopsies and dozens of liquid nitrogen spot treatments. She also recommended blue light treatment which significantly improved my skin tone. I am in much better hands now that I see her regularly. I see her every 3 months and I look forward to her thorough preventative visits. I also think her staff is really friendly and efficient.

I needed to see a dermatologist quickly so I made an appointment here. The first red flag I should've noticed is that I thought I was seeing a doctor for my visit, but I was scheduled with the Nurse Practitioner Fariba Seraj. I looked online and I'm not even sure a doctor works here. Anyways, Fariba Seraj make me extremely uncomfortable throughout my entire visit.

I was being seen for an issue near my groin and I was given a privacy sheet to help make me feel comfortable. Normally a doctor knocks on the door before they step in, but Fariba blasted through the door while I was still changing into the privacy sheet without any concern for my protection/privacy. I was instructed to sit on the table, and when I showed her the affected area, she had no concern for the privacy sheet and moved it down my body.

I had my undergarments on, and tried to carefully show the affected area. She insisted that she needed to see underneath my shorts. I knew there wasn't anything in that area, but was really concerned about my skin. She then prodded my skin and grazed my private area during her inspection with my shorts off. I was beyond uncomfortable the entire time, and I think her inspection was extremely intrusive and beyond unnecessary.

When I saw a different doctor, he just looked at the area I showed him, he did not ask to see beneath my garments and did not touch me inappropriately. I believe this nurse was haphazard and completely inappropriate in her practice. After the evaluation, she blasted the door open again while my privacy sheet wasn't even all the way on, practically exposing me to all the people in the hallway.

After shutting the door, I changed back into my garments and went to a different area for some lab work. In the lab area, the nurse then asked if I was even her patient and who I was. She didn't even know if I was on her schedule or her patient. After thinking about the visit and reading online, I think this nurse was bashful, inappropriate, disrespectful, and even creepy.

Why did she see me when I wasn't even on her schedule and why was her examination of me so intrusive and so weird. She had no concern for my privacy or protection and I will never be visiting here again. Go see a real doctor.

I visited the Beach Cities Dermatology Medical Center and was attended to by Fariba. I never write reviews, but she was AMAZING. I've been to other dermatology clinics before due to issues with my acne. she took one look at it and knew exactly what medication and treatment I needed. She was incredibly professional and really knows her stuff. 2 weeks later and my skin is looking the best it's ever looked. A very big THANK YOU FARIBA! You are amazing! Highly recommend her to anyone!

This was my first visit, after a warm, professional, and informative new patient induction process, courtesy of Elisha, in the Culver City office. My appointment was with Dr. Wickwire; I was seen promptly and was treated with respect and professionalism throughout my visit, by both the doctor and his support staff; if my memory serves me correctly, I believe their names were Christina and Erica. I hope that is accurate, but I must say that everyone I met at the office was warm and welcoming. Thank you for an outstanding patient experience!

This is by far the best Dermatologist experience I have had in 35 years. From the warm welcome, accommodating scheduling, thorough exam, accurate diagnosis, and efficient process, I couldn't ask for a more trustworthy team.

I have been going to Dr Ammar for years. He's very thorough and a very skilled surgeon. His work is as good as a plastic surgeon. Also, he's a very nice man!

The doctors were fine, but it's the staff who will terrorize you, especially their assistant Janis Gertsch, who is nothing short of a xenophobic thief and an A-grade Karen. This woman is of no help and will come at you for money you've already paid because she's not very bright, all while you deal with the aftermath of facial reconstruction surgery due to skin cancer.

She is an evil witch who ruined my experience with this clinic, simply because she does not know how to bill correctly and will blame you for her clerical errors. Avoid this place because of Janis Gertsch.

The best service ever. The most friendliest staff. Makes you feel like family. Some of the most qualified physicians in the LA area. I highly recommend to my family and friends

I've been a patient at beach cities dermatology for a couple of years now and I have nothing but great memories there :. They have a fantastic staff, a comfortable atmosphere, and quality service. There have been times when the employees there have taken the leadership to follow up with pharmacy mishaps etc. and I'm genuinely grateful for the good energy everyone there gives me. Highly recommend! I trust them and not to mention they have improved my skin!

This office is AMAZING! My family and I have been patients here for 8 years and we have always gotten the finest care. All the doctors are caring and they take the time to listen to all your concerns. They are great diagnosticians and have been able to treat our skin issues effectively. The front office staff is always so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this office. Thank you Beach Cities for all your wonderful care!

I have been seeing staff here for a few years and they are thorough, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I have had to do procedures that initially made me very anxious and everyone that assisted was understanding and did not judge how nervous I was, and in fact helped calm me down. I give Beach Cities Dermatology my highest recommendation! Plus they are handling COVID in a way that makes me feel safe going into the office.

Man, this place is wonderful. I've been to a few other dermatologists, they were fine and I became used to cold interactions and a lack of support. Everyone here is so kind. The Culver City location, from the lady at the front to the nurse and nurse practitioner Fariba. I truly can't praise enough. Feeling comfortable and safe when having medical work done to you is everything.

I am so happy to have Beach Cities Dermatology taking care of me. The staff is very nice and Dr. Ammar is very thorough and very nice as well. My entire family has been seen at Beach Cities Dermatology. I highly recommend.

I have been coming to this office for 10 years. I have been treated by all the providers here. Dr. Ammar, Dr. Wickwire and Fariba Seraj. I have been treated for medical and cosmetic. They have truly taken care of me as well as some of my family members who were not able to find relief elsewhere. The staff is also friendly and caring. Would definitely recommend them for your skin care concerns.

What can I say about this office and everyone involved. Dr. Wickwire is gifted. brilliant and so funny. I love seeing him and trust his skills 100%. he looks way beyond skin to underlying cause. and is usually dead on. Dr. Ammar is also very good. they all are up there. I love this office.have huge respect for them and everyone that work there. every single person. I've been to a few Dermos in this city and no one comes close in diagnostic ability, focus or follow-up. If you are lucky enough to be here looking for a new Dermo- call them and get here. they are terrific.

Dr. Wickwire is the best dermatologist, not only for his expertise but also for his incredible bedside manner. He is kind and very knowledgeable. I have been treating with him for a decade and he always finds a solution for my skin conditions. The best hand at cortisone shots for cysts, leaving no marks at all! His staff is also kind and accommodating.

I have been seeing Dr. Wickwire here since 2001. He's the best. He finds all the moles! He found pre-cancer on me years ago and I've never had any issues since. I'll be going here FOREVER. If you don't know, parking could be stressful for you; don't let it be! Park on a meter on Venice, the building on Washington & Dunn or a street space on Dunn.

Since I have been living in Los Angeles I've been a patient at Beach Cities Dermatology. I was in Culver City and Redondo office. I want thank particularly Dr Ammar. Extremely Knowledgeable and wonderful Human being. He always takes his time to explain me the different treatment options available to me. In the way they run the medical office should be an example for other Dr's. Excellent service, no waiting time, no unexpected fees. I highly recommend them.

After moving from the east coast it was difficult to find a dermatologist and office that I really liked until I visited Dr. Ammar and his staff. Dr. Ammar is extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful and takes his time to explain your options and performs procedures perfectly (whole range from acne, moles to cosmetic). His staff Elisha and Crystal are also extremely warm and accommodating and go out of their way to remind me of things and help with insurance matters. I'm so happy to have found them and highly recommend them!

Had a couple of issues I was concerned about and my original dermatologist was booked for over a month. The receptionist was able to get me in quickly. She even told me the best place to park. There are tons of 1 hour meters around I get there and was greeted with a smile and like ALL places should, they already had my health care card info on file.

What a waste of time to bring your card, wait for them to make a copy then wait for them to get it back. Anyway, I only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seen and Dr. Ammar was amazing. He was very oersonable and even gave me samples as well as coupons in case I wanted to buy a big version. But even before he came in, I was told about my insurance and what I'd be responsible for. This place is amazing. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They were the bright spot in my stressful week.

Super easy, helpful and professional. Def recommend. They have a paid parking garage (but don't validate) and there are 1-hour parking meters around.

The first thing people see is your face, so it's important for me to have clear skin. I see Dr. Wickwire or NP Farina once or twice a year and see Jenni the esthetician monthly. Jenni is nothin short of amazing. She's friendly and personable and blows any spa style facial you've ever had away. My face always feels rejuvenated and improves. I was suffering from cystic acne and we worked out a plan to reduce the inflammation, bacteria and hyper-pigmentation. With her TLC we've got my skin back to normal and vibrant! Don't walk run as fast as you can to Jenni as often as you can.
