Don't waist your time going here. Why set an appointment when you have to wait 3 hours and still wait. Was referred to see an ophthalmologist but was seen by an optometrist, when I had already seen my family one. Why waist people time. Appointment was at 10am and is 12:50 yet waiting. This is so unprofessional. They don't even deserve the one star.

This place is horrible. They don't answer the phone and the don't return messages yet they have a voicemail for missed calls. They told me my referral would only take 2 weeks it's been 5 months and nothing. No return call no update. I've gone into the office to speak directly to them about the referral that insisted they would send it to the insurance that day and still nothing. This place is a joke. Most horrible experience I've ever had with an office DO NOT COME HERE If you care about your eyes. Because they don't!

I really wanted to like this office because it is conveniently located for me. I went there many times over a couple of years. I found the doctors switch out often and the wait is always very long! The last time I was there they had to re do my test and my standard appointment took over two hours. Then they wanted me to come back in a week for another test.

This is perhaps one of the worst doctors in the history of the planet. His staff has been meticulously trained to abuse patients, who come from economically challenged backgrounds and have difficulty speaking English. They will give you an appointment of 3 PM and, yes, believe every word for it is the God's truth - you will be lucky if this greedy man who his flashy watches will see the patient before 10 PM. I encourage a local reporter to go undercover and verify for themselves. This is patient abuse. This man should not be allowed to practice medicine.

I only have praise for Century Eyecare. Dr. Mehrdad Aghai and his staff have shown me nothing but respect and professional courtesy. They've been prompt, knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of any questions I've had. In the past, other doctors have dismissed my concerns as if I were a nuisance, which ultimately led me to seek treatment elsewhere.
No patient should ever be minimized under any circumstance. Whenever I've had special requests, the staff has done their best to accommodate me. Also, in the age of Covid, the office is conscientious about safety protocols by requiring patients wear masks, administering temperature checks and having hand sanitizer at the ready. Without hesitation, I recommend Century Eyecare.

I waited about 40minutes before i saw the doctor. My apointment was at 10:20 i did see the doctor until about 11:15. Then when i saw the doctor he was short and sort of rude. I told him that the olace got bad reciews he said yeah uh huh. One of the receptionist was a know it all with a attitiude. I did not have a good experience i only came to go with my dad.
I read the reviews after i made the appoinmnet and i only gave it a two cause the dcotor did try to explain his rudeness after i told him he shohld be more patie t. But i wont go here again. Sorry for my dad.

This is seriously the worst optometrist I have ever gone to! Like seriously. My doctor called me to schedule an appointment with them in January (2019) because it was serious, and I did, and when my appointment was coming close to the date, they called me back saying I have to reschedule because of the doctor. So I did reschedule, and from January to July, I still haven't seen an optometrist because they ALWAYS call me to reschedule. Every. Time. It's ridiculous. It's been more than half a year that I still haven't seen them, and today was the last straw.
They seriously have no shame. I'm never coming back here again. They seriously wasted my time and money (when it comes to gas). I could have been at work instead of requesting the day off, but NO.

I wish I would of seen and had read all of the comments below! Wow! Someone said they "stack" appointments.they continue to do so! Schedule my appointment in February for May 4, came in early at 9am. Here I am it's close to noon and no sign of being seen by the doctor! I will continue to wait and go from there! But, never coming back! Sad part is I almost schedule an appointment for my 6yr old she would of missed the entire day! But, damn shame to see people playing with their patients time like this! Yeah, bring snacks because you will definitely be waiting!

First off, this place sucks and that's putting it nicely! I find it very unacceptable that my elderly father (84 years old) had to wait 5 hours for an appointment he had previously scheduled. He was scheduled at 9:30 am and wasn't seen by the doctor until 2:30 pm. How unprofessional of the staff to not have the decency to tell my father that the doctor had an emergency and there was no telling when the doctor would come in.
This is not the first time that this medical center has neglected to communicate with my father. On another occasion, my father checked in and half an hour later the office staff informed us that they had to reschedule because the machine wasn't working. They knew the machine wasn't working prior to us arriving. I asked the young lady at the desk if the machine had just stopped working and she explained that it hadn't worked since the morning. So, why not have the common courtesy to call my father and cancel the appointment. Staff has no common sense! Very unprofessional I reluctantly gave it one star, if I had the choice I would not even give it one star.

I was referred to this office by my medical insurance to be seen since September 2017 to see a specialist in child ophthalmology. If I could give it 0 stars i would due to their lack of urgency. Since September 2017 I called to arrange an appointment & was informed of their 2 month wait time. I arranged. They called me in November to inform me Doctor wasn't going to be available and had to reschedule my appointment. 3 more cancellations and 7 months later I get another call needing to reschedule until June 2018. No thank you. Bye. I took my 2 year old and money elsewhere. There are other options

The wait times are way longer than the average doctors office and the office staff is very incompetent. I had taken my appointment in advance and they called me the day before the appointment saying everything is good, then I come to the appointment and they told me they didnt have authorization from the insurance and on top of that they tell me that I should them call them to see if THEY got the authorization, dont be surprised if they turn you away because of their stupidity.

I had an accident where the soccer ball hit my eye and I was very concerned about the health of my eye and retina. My own retina specialist could not give me an early appointment, Dr. Mike Aghai was gracious enough to give me an emergency appointment Monday early morning, even though his schedule was full. He was thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He spent the time to check my vision and retina and took the time to explain everything for me in detail. very happy with the service. He will be my eye doctor from now on.

Do NOT go her unless you HAVE to. the optometrists / eye surgeons do good work - but all you have to experience to get to that point will drive you nuts. first off - the wait is TERRIBLE. when I say TERRIBLE I mean 2-4 hour wait EVERY TIME. I am not speaking of ONE occasion - THIS IS FOR SEVERAL occasions! second- I learned that I had to call a day or two prior to his appointment because we HAVE had 3 incidents where they decided to SWITCH his appt day and time for whatever reason and NOT let us know. HORRIBLE!
So - I asked why & the answer was "the scheduling system automatically does that if there is a cancellation" huh? then fix it. I mean this happened BACK TO BACK for his appts leading up to his eye surgery. NOT ok especially for an elderly man to deal with eye surgery - wow. one word - HORRIBLE. felt like we were in a 3rd world country. they scheduled OVER 20 ppl at the SAME TIME & we sat for FOUR HOURS BEFORE SURGERY! F O U R.

I had several bad experiences here and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Problem number 1: the parking is horrible and extremely limited if you have an appointment you have to come in at least an hour before to find parking. Problem number 2: the office is currently under construction but even before the construction it has always been messy and dirty.
Problem number 3: the seating arrangement in the waiting room is so awkward and makes you feel uncomfortable. Problem number 4: the staff is very unorganized. I placed an order and they told me to pick from a selection of frames that were covered by my insurance. I placed the order and they told me that in 2 weeks my glasses would be ready. After a month a called in to check up why I haven't received any call and they told me that they don't have any record that says I placed an order which made me extremely angry because I was very patient.
