In today's fast-paced world, many of us experience occasional insomnia. You either cannot get to sleep, or you wake up in the middle of the night and are unable to go back to sleep. In general, short-lived insomnia is not a concern. My alma mater, Harvard University, has reported that "chronic sleep loss can contribute to health problems such as weight gain, high blood pressure and a decrease in the immune system's power."
Eligibility is determined by providing your Proof of Indian documentation, demonstrating linkage to a Federally Recognized Indian Tribe. Proof of Indian documentation verifies if the registry meets one of the following eligibility categories; is an enrolled consortium member, an enrolled California Indian, an enrolled out of State Indian, or a California descendant.
Children and Families First Commission - passed through Health Quality Partners of Southern California. Provide oral health screenings, dental exams, treatment services, and health education counseling to children ages 0-5 years old and pregnant women with the goal of increasing the number of children from infancy to age 5 in San Diego County who are free from oral health disease.
In an era of de-personalized care, IHC's Medical Department offers a refreshing example of "relationship medicine." The importance of a one-on-one, holistic approach that revolves around each patient's health status, lifestyle, and cultural traditions cannot be overrated in helping clients achieve optimum health.

My dad came here to get his COVID-19 Vaccine. I came for the ride. This is not the pace you would just happen upon. He arrived, he was given a note for his car told where to park. There was a lot attendant who motioned to him when it was his turn. He went inside. A temp check. Verbal check of symptoms. Check in with clinic staff. He was sent to sit down to review some paper work and make sure he really was a good candidate.
He turned the paper work in. They called him back. They reviewed the paperwork again with him. Gave him the quick jab. And set the 15minute timer. The nurse hung out with him, made sure he was a-ok and and didn't have any side effects. He left with good info. Was able to sign up for v-safe. It's a CDC program, where they check on him each day. Kinda cool.
Great experience all the way around. You can tell the staff really care about the patient and their care. You have to qualify for services, but if you do, consider yourself blessed.

I drive in from Orange County to come here. I've never had any issues with the FOH staff or Doctors/Dentists. One of the girls who works at the front office, Evelyn, is always so nice and helpful. I forget if she works in dental or medical but it doesn't matter, she's the best! Very professional, without the attitude you sometimes get when going to your average GP's office.

I called this clinic and had some questions about coverage. Since my husband is tribal (from a San Diego County Reservation, card carrying, and federally recognized) I inquired if their coverage would extend to me. We had heard different things from different people. I found a lot of inconsistencies, even among staff. While addressing these questions to a Ms. Aguilar, her tone was extemely rude.
She kept speaking over me. Stating that, "I am the one in charge and I know." She also was very disrespectful stating, "I'm from here, I know everyone up here" Well unfortunately, you don't. Ms Aguilar drew the line between being tribal and non-tribal. Her attitude was, if you are tribal then you are better. I understand that this facility is designed to aid in the healthcare of the tribal members from the neighboring reservations and that is a good thing. However, this coverage has been extended to their non-tribal family members.
I know because I have seen it first hand with people in my husbands family. I also understand that this is grant funded and things can change. I honestly think that with her attitude Ms. Aguliar could only work for a tribal entity, I doubt she would be able to hold a job out of the bubble of the reservation.
