The staff at the front in the emergency room at the "patient check-in" station are incredibly rude. If you don't like your job just quit. It's very simply. The people in your building are all sick, in pain or both. There's no reason why anyone should have to feel like they beg you for Tylenol when they've been waiting an hour and half for someone to simply review an X-ray and lab work.
Second of all, I can't even leave because they won't let me submit my insurance information to them and pay my copays for what I already have done without speaking to their doctor so it's as if you're literally held hostage there or receive a bill for thousands of dollars in the mail. The way they treat human beings and their entire procedural structure is so beyond flawed.
I will 100% be filing a complaint with either the board of directors of this hospital or the medical board. You're in the healthcare field. Either care for their health or find a new career.

One of the worse medical facility ever! I was a patient at Eisenhower Health Rimrock and I moved my medical services to another facility. My new PCP sent for my Medical Records to Eisenhower to request my medical records and its been more than a week and still no medical were issued. So slow, then I asked for a referral to see my new PCP a referral was requested and its been a long time since Eisenhower get this done!
Phone calls are not returned within 24 hours like they claim! Staff like Laura over at Eisenhower is so uneducated and not well read. Had to speak to a Supervisor to get anything done! You have to keep on top of things cause Eisenhower staff are lazy, slow, unprofessional, down right rude and do not want to do their jobs. One of the worse facility ever! Do your jobs and stop being so overly sensitive! Do your jobs this is what you are there for!

Yesterday we took our daughter to the emergency room because she got a very deep cut in her hand. She was bleeding when we got there. We checked in, they put a bandage in her hand to put pressure in the wound, and they told us to wait for her to be called back to be treated and to give her pain medicine. My daughter was in a lot of pain. We had already been there for about 4 hours when a woman that works at the hospital got there with her daughter, she checked in, and was told by the front desk girl that the waiting time was 4-5 hours approximately.
Then the woman started talking to the nurses very often and I heard that she was asking them to see her daughter (to get her x-rays done, get a bed for her, etc.) when the waiting room was full of patients in pain waiting to be seen, including my daughter. We had been there waiting for almost 5 hours already, when a nurse came and told that woman that they had a bed ready for her daughter, when that woman hadn't been there not even 2 hours.
I approached the nurse and asked him why was she been called before everyone else?.and he gave me attitude and told me that there were no beds available, and ignored me while I continued talking to him, and he told that woman to go inside with him. Of course, I got very upset to see how unfair they were and asked to talk to the nurse in charge because they were not being fair with the rest of the patients and were giving priority to her co-worker just because they knew her, and they told me that the nurse in charge was not available.
The nurses were being very rude to me and told me that I had to calm down and wait in the waiting room to be called, or otherwise they would ask security to take me out of the hospital. Very unprofessional. That woman went inside the double doors whenever she wanted and I saw her speaking to one of the doctors, nobody told her to go outside and wait for her turn or anything. Everything she asked for, they did. During all the hours that we waited nobody checked my daughter's blood pressure or anything. Very disappointed with our experience.

I really wanted to give them a higher rating due to at least having a good Dr, but they had a virtually empty waiting room and I still waited 6 hours to be seen despite coming in by ambulance doubled over in pain. There were only a couple nurses who even showed compassion towards me or anyone else in the waiting room, the other nurses were sitting behind the counter laughing and joking around loudly the whole time.
I told them my Dr. thinks I have H pylori and ulcers and that I suddenly was having severe pain in my upper stomach. I was told by my Dr to go to the ER immediately if I have sudden severe pain and that it could be internal bleeding and I could literally bleed to death.so I get there and they have me sitting for 6 hours very obviously doubled over in pain.
After about 4 hours in, a nurse did say, "has anyone gotten this girl a GI cocktail"? And she at least went and got the lidocaine cocktail that numbed the pain for a couple hours. I fell asleep during those hours and then woke up to the pain again and this was when they finally wheeled me back.this hospital used to be so much better it's totally gone down the drain.
I came here ONLY because my gastroenterologist specialist is connected with this hospital otherwise I would have gone to Desert Regional where all of the nurses are so kind, which really matters when you feel horrible. The best part of Desert Regional is that no matter how packed they are, I have never waited more than an hour to be seen. Now that's an emergency room!
We waited 15 minutes with our son and their were people waiting outside because it was full that night.that says a lot. They really didn't do much at all for me at Eisenhower, they were so slow. The Dr was great I really liked him but other than the Dr and a couple nurses, everyone else just had a really stuck up attitude. I don't understand how being kind/compassionate isn't a requirement when they hire at this hospital but it clearly isn't.

I checked in as urgent care patient and waited for close to 3 hours which was painful. Dr spend 10 minutes only and I got bill for few thousands dollars which was reduced by insurance as 600 dollars. As per insurance if the facility bills as urgent care visits then I will be paying 75 dollars only which was my understanding at the time of visit but the billing dept did not change codes in spite of their advertised name as URGENT CARE and nature of visit was urgent.
My advise will be never go to this center as Urgent care specially if your insurance has different rates for different services as they will charge outrageous fees for each and every thing they will do.
