I Actually heard Dr A talk about me outside the door of my medical room. I had explained frustration about some office policies to the clinical nurse. She told the Dr about my frustration. The Doctor then stated that I should just go Back to the state I came from if I didn't like their policies. She said it loud enough to hear it in the exam room.
Someone else chimed in and agreed with the doctor that I should just go back to where I came from. I promptly left. I called asking to speak to a manager. They allowed me to speak with the clinical nurse who was in the room. She apologized for the doctor. I understand patients, including me, can be frustrating. But to openly speak about a patient in that manner is uncalled for and completely unprofessional.

I brought my 8 month old in for possible egg and milk allergies and eczema that wasn't resolving. Dr Askenazi and the rest of the staff has been outstanding. I expected an appointment to be months out, but due to my son's age and the nature of our visit they continually followed up with sooner appointments and got us in in just a few days. I'm immensely grateful to this team for giving us some long awaited answers.

I have been going to Advanced Allergy & Asthma for a few years now. The doctors here do everything in their power to make it easier living with allergies and asthma. I just moved to Wisconsin and I drive to Crystal Lake because I am not willing to give them up. Everyone there is helpful. I have to take the shot Nucala for my asthma. It's a monthly shot. Kim in the office worked with me and my insurance company to make the process easy. I can now take my shots at home. Nucala has helped me tremendously!

We've been going to this practice for several years and with the exception of Dr. Hahn (who we loved), I've never been impressed and am usually annoyed by the time I leave or have phone interactions. The other Dr's are rude, condescending, seem to be offended by questions and have charged extra for standard school forms. The same judgmental and condescending behavior is displayed by the staff, especially the receptionists who seem to think they too have a medical degree. We're trying another practice.

After my first visit, I'm really liking the office staff. Everyone was fun and friendly. Rather than brushing off my mysterious allergy, Dr. Hahn is really delving into what caused my swollen face. Can't wait to follow up! Edit: after 3 visits I can say, Dr. Hahn and staff are amazing. Truly care about making me feel better.
