At this yearly appointment, we will collect a urine specimen for urinalysis and take your vitals (weight and blood pressure). Your doctor will perform pelvic and breast exams and will review your medical history and medications. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your customized plan of care and any concerns you may have.
At your pregnancy confirmation appointment, we will collect a urine specimen for pregnancy testing, take your vitals (weight and blood pressure), and perform an in-office transvaginal ultrasound. After confirming your pregnancy, we will review our office policies related to care during your pregnancy.
Choosing a method of birth control is always a personal decision that should fit your lifestyle. To make the best choice, however, you also need reliable information provided by a doctor who knows your health. The doctors at Hill Country OB/GYN take the time to explain different types of birth control and evaluate your health to be sure your preferred method is safe for you.

I really liked Dr. Curtis the one time I came here. I called today to find out she no longer works here, so I tried to book with ANY other provider. I explained my symptoms to the woman on the phone and she proceeded to tell me that my nausea could be related to anything, (despite me explaining why it, wasn't, and that I previously had a doctor suggest I had endometriosis) and that they were booked out 4-6 weeks.
She was not helpful, or empathetic even after telling her I am in pain and literally sobbing on the phone I get it, you're busy. but if you're going to be taking calls for people seeking medical attention, maybe at least act like you care or want to help. Won't be coming back here.

This place does not care about their patients. not even worth going into detail about but they'll tell you/prescribe anything just to get you in and out. i should have checked their reviews before wasting money here on copays and various antibiotics that i didn't even need as a result of them unable to figure out the underlying issue of what was wrong with me.

There's a big issue at Hill Country OBGYN that they need to get on top of. But first, it's important to mention that I don't have anything negative to say about the doctors. The small part of my experience that's been with a doctor has been good. Oddly, though, I've yet to meet with the doctor I made my initial appointment to see, Dr. Landermeyer.
She had emergencies to tend to every time I was there. The doctor they ultimately switched me to, DiSarro, also had an emergency during my appointment, so I ended up with Dr. Schneider, who was fine! I do want to develop a relationship with one O.B., though -- I think any pregnant woman would. Here's the issue: it's taken me multiple phone calls, or multiple phone calls *and* emails to simply get in touch with a human.
I couldn't even reach the front desk -- indefinite hold music, every time I tried. As an established patient, it took 12 phone calls and 3 voicemails to schedule a blood test for genetic testing. They don't call back. I have severe morning sickness, dying for some relief, so I called the office and emailed my doctor/nurse through the online portal to ask about a dose increase, and, as of writing this, it's been three business days and I haven't heard back.
The wait time was tiring and excessive at my last appointment, too -- a standard prenatal check-in. In total, it took two hours from my scheduled arrival to when I finally checked out. Then, they never sent my morning sickness prescription to the pharmacy. Ugh. So, you guessed it -- I called them about it.and never heard back. I had to drive to the office while sick to be able to speak with anyone at all.
It is so frustrating. Systems there are broken and need to be fixed -- because on the whole, they're failing to provide a minimum level of care. Update: Downgrading to 1 star. This has nothing to do with my OB, whom I finally met. She's been great. But their front desk and lack of organization are ruining it. I had an appointment yesterday and got a voicemail while I was in the car on my way there that my appointment was canceled.
They charge you $50 if you don't show up but hey it's okay for them to do this. I called 5 times to reschedule (10 minutes hold music and no one answered). I left two voicemails. I haven't heard back despite telling them I needed to be seen ASAP and didn't mind seeing a different doctor. A joke of a clinic. Too bad because I liked my OB.

Dr. Disarro delivered my first baby two weeks ago. Throughout my pregnancy, she was always willing to answer my many questions, ask about my stress levels at work, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring my pregnancy experience was going well. My baby ended up being breech and she offered to perform an ECV, but I decided to just schedule the c section to have a defined timeline.
As someone who works in medical device, I had so many questions about the c section procedure and she was more than willing to answer. She also spoke with me during the procedure to keep my mind at ease. The whole experience was very low stress considering the fact that it was my first child and I tend to worry about everything. In summary, I cannot recommend Dr. Disarro enough - she's been truly wonderful with exceptional bedside manner and seems very up-to-date with relevant research, which I truly appreciated.

Don't go here if you're looking for help with PMDD. Unless you want to be prescribed Yaz. Past that, Dr. Eduardo told me that she could only prescribe the pill for me. Which is completely untrue. There is chemical menopause and surgery which were not even discussed as an option for treatment or offered as such. When Yaz caused too much breakthrough bleeding for me, rather than prescribe me Yasmin (the same pill, slightly higher estrogen), Dr. Eduardo prescribed me a totally different combo pill with estrogen and norethindrone. Had she have asked my history with other birth control pills, she would have seen I don't react well to norethindrone.
After going into a really bad PMDD spiral, I gave her a list of types of progestins I would take. She decided to prescribe me something not on my list-- a birth control pill which undoubtedly some Pharma rep was pushing because they couldn't even prescribe it to me, I would have to pick up samples of it at their office (it contained estrogen and levongesterol, which I knew from Plan B I don't do well with levongesterol).
I did my own research and I finally had to request to be put on Yasmin. I was also told by another doctor that the Mirena IUD couldn't cause depression because it was releasing hormones through the uterus. um, yeah glad I did a simple search on the PMDD Reddit boards before getting that implanted inside of me. Mirena contains levongesterol, a progesterone, which is what people with PMDD are typically most sensitive to fluctuations in. They're terrible at entering patient data correctly.
Every time I call, they ask for my birth date, it's incorrect and they say they've changed my birth day to the correct month. It's still wrong after several years of visiting them. Hate to know what the medical data entry looks like. They're fine for a UTI I guess? Although I was prescribed antibiotics, given a recommendation for pelvic floor therapy and told I had a UTI when I'm pretty sure it was IBS-C and gas cramps was making my bladder extremely irritable at the time.
So maybe I did, but I'm not sure that I actually needed antibiotics. The only thing the office would tell me was that some E. coli was found in my urine. The receptionist couldn't even tell me how much was found, if it was of significance, or discuss with me anything beyond that. I've only had one good experience with them, which is when I was prescribed Yaz. Otherwise, I felt like they were reckless and completely unknowledgeable in treating PMDD. Questionable on the UTI front as well.

This place is a fucking joke of women's health clinic. Waited for 40 minutes just one vile of blood work done. The NP was obviously not trained properly, it seemed like she was running late and scrambling around. Slapped on the tape which didn't even hold on the gauze on my arm. Wasn't gentle with the needle whatsoever and definitely didn't help with my fear of needles.
Not one person actually looked at me or told me what was going on with my appointment today. Rude, cold, untrained, unprofessional staff who lack any sense of compassion nor a bit of human decency. Patients are treated like herded cattle. Will not schedule at this location ever again and actively looking for another gyno at another facility.

Front office staff are not warm and inviting. Came in for a miscarriage and the sonographer said "so are y'all excited? Is this your first baby?" Absolutely appalling. There is no communication between the front and back office. I really like Dr Curtis, she has great bedside manner and will educate you. I can't say the same for the NP I had.
No education whatsoever. They also never checked my progesterone which after talking to many friends and family who are nurses, that is something that absolutely should have been checked after my miscarriage. The NP was pushing the RhoGAM shot on me when I told her that me and my husband were both rh negative and there was no chance of us having a positive-blood type baby.
She said "do you have proof?" And so I showed her my blood donor card. Then she asked my husband for proof. It was disrespectful to basically insinuate that we were lying. And also she was trying to push something on us that I did not need. So unprofessional and goes against the code of Do No Harm that she swore by when she became an NP. Besides Dr Curtis, I really have nothing good to say. We always wait more than an hour to be seen as well. Just all around terrible experience. Would never recommend.

This is definitely a situation where I do not even wish to give a star. I went to see Dr. Melissa Quinn who walked into the office and never so much as gave me a smile or be in anyway welcoming to me. I am a 66 year old woman. Dr. Quinn decided to run some tests on me and I asked how much might that cost and she said around $125. I proceeded to have blood drawn in her office-There after I was called to be told that I am post Menopause. NO KIDDING? SERIOUSLY? I'm 66.
My medicare covered minimal and I am now stuck with $638 bill. I don't know how many test were performed from the one blood draw but believe I saw more than 10 test and one being for vitamin D levels that was more than $200. I noticed this office has under 3 star rating! I should have looked before I went. I do not recommend Dr. Quinn nor Hill Country OBGYN!

Zero! Absolute worst gyn office! Took my 18 yr old niece who I personally made the appointment for a full gynecology exam. Niece had special circumstances regarding abuse and at 18 had never seen a doctor before. Front desk absolutely refused to let me go in with my niece to help her in communicating with the doctor, reason stated that niece is an adult at 18 years old and they don't allow another person in with her.
My gut feeling was to walk out and unfortunately we didn't. Dr. Quinn did not do the full exam as requested and then billed us $150 stating the appointment was not a "wellness appointment" so they coded it differently which meant insurance would not cover it. Spent a month trying to get Dr Quinn to speak with us, all I could get was an office person named Brandy, who was the most rude uncaring person I've ever encountered in a doctor office. Because of Dr Quinn's failure to provide the service we requested, I now have to put my niece through yet another doctor visit to get the needed gynecology exam.

Tried for two weeks straight to get an appointment (as we are new to the area). Tried every avenue possible to make an appointment, and NOT ONE person has contacted me. You'll wait on the phone for 30min before it kicks you off. Such a horrible time being a new person in the area and trying to find care for our first baby. Too bad, especially since the office is 5 min from our new home. Will never try them again.

I have been going to Hill Country OB Gyn for years! I love this practice they are always courteous, the staff are helpful. Dr. Landwermeyer has been my Dr for years. She also delivered one of my grand babies. My daughter was very pleased with her and the staff. I showed up for my visit and Dr. Landwermeyer was in surgery so I was able to see Regan the Pa she was terrific! I would highly recommend her. The staff accommodated me well and I drive pretty far to see them. Thank you Hill Country Ob/Gyn

One of the worst Obgyn clinics. The receptionist are rude and lack customer service skills. You wait forever to be seen by physician. My first appointment I waited 3 1/2 to see a doctor. Dr. Lisa spent 5 minutes with me. It felt rushed and routined. Not exactly the best experience after finding out the baby had no heart beat. My second visit was better with another physician. Receptionist were still rude.
At least, this time, they didn't loose my paper work. Although, I had to wait hours like the first time. If your looking book here, pass! A great clinic has excellent care from the receptionist, to the nurses, all the way up to the physicians. Unfortunately, this isn't the place!

They gave me great care when I was pregnant and Dr. Schneider was wonderful delivering my baby! HOWEVER, wait times are too long and have gotten worse. I typically didn't see the Dr. until about 30-45 min after my appointment time. And now without being pregnant, the wait times prior to being seen have gotten longer at 45+ min for other doctors. Furthermore, something has changed with attitudes over the last year. Several folks there are passively rude- both in person and over the phone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Harts for about four-five years now and I could not be happier. Yes wait times are longer due to the pandemic, but it's not unusual considering they take the time to screen each patient before entry. Not to mention it's pretty important in general, not to mention with pregnant woman. I love the staff, but Dr. Hart truly is a wonderful caregiver.
She has a great bedside manner, she is so easy to talk to and just all around makes for a great experience every time. I highly recommend her as an ob. This is my third pregnancy with her and she makes me feel so comfortable every time.

Not a good experience! Phone goes to VM and I never received a call back to receive a refill on meds I really needed. Ended up calling my General Practitioner who filled online for me same day. Terrible system and will not be returning. I did try two more times, to give them a chance, but got stuck into voice mail.

I wish all doctors were like Dr. DiSarro. I've seen a couple obgyns and been pretty unhappy with some of them. Dr. DiSarro ensures that you feel heard and listened to. She never assumes or judges and you can tell her absolutely anything. If you feel a treatment isn't right she pauses and listens to you and makes sure you feel satisfied your next steps.
If you would feel better knowing more about something, she makes sure you have all the tools you need, weather that patiently listening and answering all questions or showing you how to get an appointment that would better help. Dr. DiSarro and her team help you make the best possible choices for you; no matter what.

This review is solely for the Nurse Practitioner, Laura. She was so kind, she walked me through each step of the exam and made time to answer my questions with compassion. I'd agree with a few other reviews that the office staff seems a little overwhelmed there, but Laura really shines bright so kudos to her!
